Solanas. I understood you saying no feminist would object Solanas Scum Manifesto or the Clementine-Ford-diarrhea. I do consider Solanas to be a feminist. But a crazy one that belongs to jail and has no influence. I would even consider Erin Pizzey a feminist. Erin Pizzey did not have to flee feminism! If so, she would not go to America. She had to flee crazy, criminal people who happen to be feminists. You don’t have to fear the declaration. You could fear people taking it out of context and misu…

Dude, you even get the no ture Scotsman wrong You: No feminist would reject, what a particular feminist icon said Me: But I know a feminist that did reject what that "icon" said You: No true feminist would reject what she said I don’t say it does not exist. I am saying it is not one entity. It has no sharp outlines. It is not something it is many things, if you will. All the idiologies have different branches contradicting each other and thus should not be seen as one. You may criticize everythi…

“If no one can be defined as a feminist, and if feminism can’t be defined, and if each feminist who disagrees with another feminist means they are ruled out of being criticised as a feminist, then you render the concept of feminism so murky that it might as well not exist.” There you go. the wrong way around but you will get it. This is exactly what we see with all man made idiologies or social concepts / theories in general if you will. Name any Ideology and I name you at least two branches of …

Hahaha, beers you are so funny. You Call me ignorant and imply that there is only one united feminist movement in the same breath. Every feminist ever agrees on everything any self-called feminist ever said. Hilarious. Next you go on to say every democrat ever agreed on everything any other democrat ever said. I do not think you do it in bad faith but I think you have a crooked understanding of how idiologies work. These are man made fantasies not laws of physics. But ok, let us settle this here…

Ok, lets look at the suffragettes. Oh, they are gone. They are not like KKK or IRA. And given the time they were actually there, they were right to fight. Laws were opressiv back then. Do I condemn violence, YES. Do I understand why suffragettes were fighting, also yes. Suffragettes were self-called terrorists and loudly recruiting. Biggest assembly: 3000 Terrorists are criminals and belong to jail. And they are seen by the majority of people as criminals. Like most of the americans would say th…

That was the job she was employed for. She did not take over frisco uni. Founding studies is not necessary a bad thing. Sience can proof you wrong. Even jesus had diffrent plans and followers turned everything upside down. Sally is out of charge.

Her goals are lunatics. What entity on earth could convince „every culture“ to do anything? Maintain male proportion at 10%, in a society turning away from science but without murder. Right. Around the world. She is a silly d&d author not a mastermind of feminism.

I am not trying to refute or say you are wrong. Just argueing that they could not ever have the chance to succeed. And about not allowing - i had the feeling you ment just let things happen. I think the whole idea of trying to reduce the male proportion of the human race would need such an insane and indepth chance of human way of life, no „group“ could initiate. All human made idiologies failed in any way. If you do not get all in line, you fail. This idea is so insane…we make fools of ourselve…

Have seen some movements. If they Last for long time every movment changes a lot. Get more radical or less radical. And of they last for long time and dont get momentum, they Fade away. Feminism is shattered into smaller and bigger fractions. the one you describe is there, but in my eyes it is not important or leading.

jep, you have to dig deep to find gold and have to endure a lot bs along the way. But this is what you get if you ask all at the same time. maybe this medium is just not right for you. maybe some more indepth opinions on this topic. maybe a book. Or similar. Something someone put his real name on. not made for echochambers but for public debatte.

The word/human construct "feminism" is unfortunatly used inflationary, and has a plathora of meanings. Like you see here. One talks about academic definition, one is talking about what you see on streets and one is talking about some fantasies of him. A lot of people are aware of the fact that feminism is a word with altering context. this is when stuff like "1st, 2nd and 3rd wave" come into play. even "feminists" struggle about feminism. this is when demnominations like TURF-feminists come in t…

Hmm, 1970 is mybe a bit too far. In my country women were not allowed to get jobs without permision of their husbands until 1977 (germany). Oh, and only since 1997 it is illegal to sleep with your wife against her will. maybe we could finde a better time to go back too.

the ideology that has led to incredible suffering for a mass of men who ended up committing suicide what mass of men?? systematic destruction of friendship networks? what are you talking about? Or are you sad, that the epstein-clique is now gone? And if Sally is saying that secret societies with a lot of power are a threat to society in general, I would agree. She is talking about parralell societies in armies (parts of german SEK were a fascist group and were lifted by the goverment), she talks…

She perfected the art of dividing the sexes into collectives. That is somewhat ironic. Sally Gearhart perfected division? Did she came up with making laws for man and women different? in my country women needed permission of their husbands to get a job until 1977 by law (germany). In America there have been times wifes were not allowed to vote because they were not allowed to own property (widows were allowed). Or do you want to say she rallied women to become a collective aware of opression? Do…

oh I did not know about this declaration. Thank you. Have you red it? it is not long. I could not find a call to violant action. In fact it is pretty decent, besides the religious stuff. regarding the laws back then, this is what I would write if I were a woman. It is about the right to vote, work and make a living without needing permision. It is about representation in politics and society. In my country women needed permision by their husband to get a drivers licence until 1958 or to get a jo…

at first Sally Miller Gearhart and now Andrea Dworkin. why so much interest in second wave feminism these days? first and second wave imo was really about human rights. Not all was gold (as you can see in the Sally Gearhart thread) but it's intentions were right.

jep, and most guys here got fooled and think it is a recent quote. a "call to action".

In my country we have a name for people who see something and go straight to make up their own story and mumbling about 39 year old quotes and implied calls to action and a group called "they" who wants to kill all this and that. We call them "Adolf". be carefull, sometimes these guys run for presidency and are strangely succesfull

this call to action is 39 years old. looks like a veeeery slow plan. Maybe too slow, Sally died this year.

that would requier all women to not want a boy. this would requier all women willingly go through abortion. this would requier women to do what other women tell them (and they dont. we have a female head of state) abortion is not a walk in the park or like just the inconvenience of wearing a mask. some one is ripping out parts of your body. Spiritual things aside. and what is this about men not "allowing" complete control over repoductive means. If all women decided to only get girls from now on…

OP should learn about fascism! btw the quote is 39 years old and Sally died this year. So much about "spreading the idiology". We in germany know how fast shit can hit the fan (especially in regards to fascism). 39 years and no one ever heard of Sally is not "spreading the idiology". This is just one delusional dead person, nobody is listening to. but still entertaining. the Idea is kinda funny as comments show

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
