Laid off four months ago and it sounds like you haven’t actually started your business? Prototyping doesn’t count.

Just wait until you start spanking her when she’s disrespectful.

When my son is 17ish years old, I’m going to send him to a pickup artist seminar. There’s no need to be alone unless it’s by choice.

It seemed obvious he was trying to give the puck to the little girl. Just because she was a disappointed young child doesn’t mean she’s necessarily indoctrinated into anything.

Sometimes ish isn't fair, but acting like a victim will keep you powerless. Man the F up.

I wonder how my children will feel when they are older knowing I left my pregnant wife, which would be a fact.

I don't think it's my fault. But getting a divorce was not in my planned autobiography. So if I can avoid it I would like to, especially for my children. And when I say I don't listen to her...it's not in a "do what she says" kind of way but more of a I don't find her very interesting and she feels unheard. If that makes sense. Thank you for your replies. It really helps to have an outside person verifying what I thought I already knew.

I know everyone has a tough time admitting their flaws and I'm by no means perfect but I'm not someone to hate. -blue pill for a long time. Really walked on eggshells to keep her from being unhappy. -I've gained probably 20# since we got married. -I beat up my brother in law once (sisters husband) for hitting my sister. - I probably drink too much (3 drinks 2x per week average) - I probably don't listen to her as much as I could. Maybe.

Libido is fair. Some days I'm interested in sex, some days not. Concentration and drive sucks. High anxiety and bouts with old black dog depression. Erection is fair. Going multiple rounds is impossible now.

I'm riding the hormonal wave. I get home today and I pick my little girl up and twirl her around, and wife comes up to me. I pick her up and twirl her around too...and she's all kissy. This is after her saying I can't come to the birth of our second child just this morning. I'm a recovering nice guy. Pretty darn good real estate investor. I can't imagine my wife worrying financially. I'm doing some active strategies to help with grief and depression.

To me, the patriarch is the trusted leader. I'm definitely that for my family. I'm mentoring my father and sister from a financial perspective and I'm always the one called to give advice over problems. "Does she trust you" No she doesn't. She tries to go through my email/phone. I have never done anything to circumvent the trust IMO. No video games or porn. I hide the depression well. I feel "old black dog" about a week per month. What can I do better? I can definitely be more present when I'm w…

"How well do you captain" Financial house is in order, over 1m/yr, I'm well respected in my industry and by community leaders. I'm patriarch over my side of the family over my father and sister. On the bad side, I don't get to household repairs in a timely manner and have been depressed off and on since losing my grandmother who raised me back in may. "Do you have any boundaries " My main boundary is no fighting in front of my daughter. If wife instigates fighting in front of my girl, I immediat…

The specific times of her saying "I hate you" were in response to my AA over her ST. I can give the backstory but it'll leave you scratching your head for sure.

31 years old. 5'9 squat 315. Deadlift 315. Bench 255. 190lbs. Former bjj coach. Real estate entrepreneur. Diet/lifting- 6/10. Pretty good but work to be done. I started 100m sprint work 2x per week in addition to my normal lifting protocol. I'm shooting for 400# by June on squat and deadlift. It feels good being in the gym consistently again. Work- 0/10. Luckily I have a good team to keep things going but I am 100% burnt out emotionally. I have around 2m in real estate sitting right now and I ju…

Oh she definitely meant it in a bad tone. If she were play fighting I can definitely roll with that. Thanks for your response

My overall concern is not so much about dealing with wife but more dealing with the situation to the best outcome for my little girl. I don't think it's doing her any favors to hear this kind of banter. I appreciate everyone's response.

Here's the high points, some of which I'm not sure matter: - I invited her to shower with me this morning. She did. I did not initiate. - We were cooking breakfast together. She was standoffish. - I asked her to grab a plate, she walks in the other room. - I asked if she heard me, she gets upset, grabs the plate. - Then she starts badgering me about not needing the plate yet. On and on and on. - I jokingly say "hey grab a stopwatch do you can time the exact second that the food is done " - she c…
