Passing on a business is, in my opinion, only okay if your children are qualified to run it. My father, for instance, has a forensic engineering firm. Neither I or my sister will be inheriting it because we will not be going into that field of study. Should he hand it to us instead of someone who went to college for forensic engineering, well that would just be fuckin' stupid.
