You need to be honest with him. Don’t go too deep but let him know why. His life has already changed and lord knows what your ex-wife has said to him as the narrative she puts out could also turn him against you. Most of all, action speaks louder than words. Let your actions show how much you love him.

She’s moving the goal post. Sounds like she wants her cake and eat it too. I’d pay closer attention if I were you

*SMACK* You're being waaay to casual for someone who just described that his kids are being exposed to a sex offender. TF is wrong with you? If that was me, amicable wouldn't be in the vocabulary. Get full custody of those kids and turn the tables on her....JFC dude.

It sucks but you’re handling it like a boss. You don’t need to interact with him, for what? Just continue on the path that you’re on

But she also has an STD Edit: We can't always think with our dicks, it never ends well

Well, you said she's is emotionally abusive. If you have proof of that, give it to your lawyer and push for full custody

You’re doing this to stroke your ego but tread carefully, it can backfire on you.

Get a lawyer, go nuclear (at fault). She obviously doesn't give a damn about you. She showed you with her actions how much she really cared about you, so take your toys and go home.

I had to read your post again. There’s no in way in hell you didn’t know about how she was. There were HUGE red flags in your face and you chose to ignore them. I’m not trying to put you down for the sake of you and your kids you need to take a stand and fix this or this very well get worse

It means you’re more or less a doormat. I mean seriously, you described her as literally the scum of the earth but then turn around and create a contract where she stays with you for a whole year?!? I don’t see the logic in this, regardless if you have kids with her. To make it worse, it doesn’t seem like you’ve healed from this and you not only let her back in your life, but she now stays in the same house with you.

THIS! Get with your lawyer and try to record your interactions with her if it's legal in your state

Yeah. That was the advice I want to give, but I overlooked the part that said the divorce proceedings had already started

You’re right. There’s no need to stay in that house. I went back to read OP’s post and the divorce proceedings have already started so I agree with you. My bad.

How so? If they do get a divorce and he leaves the house, it could be an uphill battle for OP which is why he needs to set boundaries with his wife
/r/Divorce_Men31/03/21 10:04 PM

No don’t leave the house! Be straight forward with her. Tell her you’re not going to play these games and go little to no contact with her but focus on co-parenting If you have to sleep in another room then do so. But this won’t end well if you let her keep stringing you along.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
