Because everything men do is just to attract women..... sigh....

I didn’t make it up. It was in the context of males abusing females, despite the fact that anecdotally females withholding sex from males to pressure an outcome is far more common (and not a form of abuse). Just to show you I didn’t make this bizarre theory up in my head, here’s a few examples that took me 5 minutes of googling to find. Not the article I remembered though....... Sexual abuse includes unwanted sex, withholding sex, https://www.poweroftwomarriage.com/info/abusive-relationships/ ‘W…

I literally saw someone in the media saying that men withholding sex from women they were in a relationship with was a form of domestic violence. “If you don’t sex me, you are committing domestic violence!” You honestly can’t make this up....

LOL. Okay man. I'd just buy a DVD in that case. Sounds cheaper than paying some stranger hundreds or thousands of dollars for nudy pics. If I'm forking out hundreds of dollars I'm going to make sure I'm getting laid. Anyway the point is I can get it for free now, so I’m not going to pay for it. I won’t break down and cry if I can’t get free porn anymore. It’s nothing special.

I'm married with a kid dude. Point is there are better ways of spending your money. Some chick on the internet taking her clothes of for money isn't exactly wife material, and it's pretty unlikely you're going to get laid out of it. In that case you might as well just spend the money on a hooker and get something for your money. If you want a life partner but can't pull chicks, might as well go and get a mail order bride or something. These women are actually preying on insecure men.

I can’t understand why people pay for nudes and the like of some chick on the internet. There’s a plethora of free hardcore pornography out there. Some of these people are spending thousands of dollars on this shit. Why not just go and bang some hookers?

I find it funny when the media mentions emotional abuse, like it’s only men that are doing it. Like, I’m sure there are, but I can only think of a handful of examples that I’ve known of men doing it. I’ve seen tons of women doing all those classic emotional abuse things they say. Controlling money, access to friends, verbal abuse, public humiliation etc, I’d go so far to say as it’s not unusual for women to do, (though certainly not the majority), in my experience it is rarer for a man to behave…

It staggers me that this is the go to thing these people say when a man is the victim of DV, when they criticise people for doing the exact same thing for women. The worse things is how the system treats male victims, I know people who've been through things like this, and the system basically treats the male as the offender by default.

If they said “in 2017 xxxx number of women were killed” it would be different if they said “19% of the journalists killed were women”. The tone reads like it’s a bad thing that that is the percentage, ie, the men who died aren’t important or are less important.

It goes without saying. Though you can't expect your life partner to not find anything about you annoying and vice versa. Saying you need to compromise if you want a long term relationship doesn't mean you should accept anything. At the end of the day it's up to the individual to say what they accept and what they don't accept. My point was basically in the theme of the article that was posted, some people are seeking a life partner, but are holding them to an unattainable ideal, therefore they …

I see a lot of people saying stuff like that on the internet. Like when a guy posts "my wife doesn't like it when I do xxx" and then a ton of people reply saying "if she can't accept you for who you are you need to leave her". It's like these people have never had a long term relationship. Compromise is a very important part of maintaining one, you literally will never find someone to spend every day of your life with who will always see eye to eye with you on everything.

I ended up studying a bit of sociology, basically because I'd stopped and started a couple of different courses and that was the quickest way to get my degree. I assume it's fairly similar, anyway, long story short it was pretty stupid - basically political indoctrination, as opposed to actual "science". If you want to get a good grade just repeat the rhetoric when you write your essays, don't put your own spin or opinions into it.

I said it was because of evolution. Human behavior, just like animal behaviour is largely the result of evolution. It's more complicated than just testosterone, but it is one of the important biological factors that influences aggressive behaviour. It's no secret that testosterone causes aggression. Where do you think the phrase 'roid rage" comes from?

I mean, technically it's sexist against men, because I'm saying that men are inherently more violent. I am a man though, and I'm just stating a fact. I feel like your angle is that I'm excusing male violence because I think there is a biological part to it. Well, I'm not. Stating a fact doesn't mean that I attach some ideological meaning to it. I'd say refusing to accept facts because they clash with your world view and suggesting that anyone who disagrees with you is some sort of bigot is the h…

Men are biologically more prone to violence, I don't think it's a controversial thing to say, and there's a lot of evidence to back it up, in every single society on the planet men commit more violent acts than women. This kind of suggests there is some underlying biology to the problem, rather than being a purely cultural or social issue. I'm not suggesting for a minute that this excuses violent behaviour, just that their is a certain inevitability for males to proportionally commit more violen…

It's down to a wide variety of reasons. Primarily driven by evolution and things like testosterone. I would like to note that she is specifically talking about white men though - which makes this statement not really accurate.

Yeah, I was going to say it looked too exaggerated so it must be fake, and then I noticed it was an anti-Trump post. In any other context it would be considered highly racist, but I guess because Trump is "literally the anti-Christ" that it's okay. What I do find hilarious is white "liberals" lecturing non-whites on why they shouldn't like Trump, how they should think or what they should be offended by. A lot of SJWs have white saviour complex.

It was then Weston learned she was a victim of not just physical, but also sexual and psychological abuse He sexually assaulted her by not having sex with her, apparently. I remember hearing a feminist somewhere saying that men withholding sex was a form of domestic violence. Yes, the person did specifically call out men. I've literally never heard of a man withholding sex to gain some advantage, but it's a common thing that women do (it's also not domestic violence).

I couldn't find a link to the article, it was in Australia, probably about six months or more ago. Apologies. I just remember it because of what the judge said. I remember reading a court case where a woman killed her own children, and ended up getting off rather lightly (shortish prison IIRC), the judge blamed the husband for being verbally abusive. Now he may have been verbally abusive, or the woman may have done the usual woman defence of blame the man when charged with a crime, but it stagers me me as to how people can believe this can seemingly justify the murders or make them the fault of the man. In the sentencing remarks the judge made a scathin…

A lot of "social constructs" also come from our inherent nature and instincts that have evolved over time. They are preprogrammed into us at a base level. Why are traditional gender roles fairly similar of a wide variety of different cultures that developed in isolation? It's not because some global ancient conspiracy of a secret cabal of men. That said, I'm fine with people not confirming to gender roles, but it's silly to pretend like that are evil or inherently wrong.

It's just commercial reality unfortunately. They wouldn't be able to afford to pay women the same rate as men in sports because they wouldn't even make a profit. It's my understanding that in men's sports the massive salaries they get are destroying the profitability of many codes, so I can hardly see how they can match the salary for females when they have far less viewership.

Not in Australia, I know plenty of mates that basically have no visitation rights for their kids unless their ex partner allows it.
