Maybe between 30-40, 40-50 it's not that big of a deal. I prefer alternative looking guys with longer hair. I just find it attractive in general when men don't fear to be themselves and stand out from the crowd. I think scenario 2. Number 1 seems like there is an issue with relationship between husband and wife so he is looking for emotional support somewhere else. But both look like divorce situation. I think so too. It changed so much that I gave up on that aspect of my life. I just wanted a loving partner to share life with, experience things together, have fun and all the nice things. I definitely disagree that men are simple and straightforward. Most are scared to have any honest conversation, they often say something to just keep women around but act the opposite way.
