Not an MRA or a Feminist, but I would say one isn’t needed; the MRAs seem more interested in discussion, welcoming debate on r/MensRights whereas r/Feminism is a circlejerk where one will be downvoted or banned for disagreeing/asking questions. Hence r/AskFeminists.

I use the term specifically when talking about transsexual people.

Poe's law is phallocentric and a part of patriarchy!

Needing to ban people for calling out inaccurate statistics is part of patriarchy! Check your privilege shitlord!

And then r/Feminism wonders why it isn’t more popular.

I've seen feminists wanting actual discussion, and also MRAs just trolling. I've openly disagreed with plenty on r/Feminism, and maybe I'm lucky, but no ban yet. I did however get banned from SRS before even posting there!

I don’t know if it’s quite that black and white.

There have been MRAs on r/Feminism for a long time. It’s good that cross interaction is happening, even if it is trolling; gotta start somewhere! You also have people who identify as both feminist and MRA, and people like myself, who identify as neither, but are interested in gender equality.

If your lawyer is having you take inadmissible junk science polygraphs and expecting the court to somehow be outraged over mixed sleeping arrangements or something I say you have one shit lawyer on your hands there. Lots of homophobia/sexual repression on the comments on this thread. I agree with the judge, the sex/gender of your ex’s lover, or your children’s new surrogate siblings is a non-issue.

I think they’re saying that if it’s a legitimate rape, the male body has ways to shut that whole thing down.

I went to school in KwaZuluNatal, in South Africa. The black kids were always getting in trouble over any hairdo that wasn’t your basic buzzcut (even the girls) braids, afros, even straightened hair brushed identically to the white kids was out of bounds. This was because of a moratorium on “exotic” hairstyles. My argument that the students could technically have a number of elaborate traditional Zulu hairstyles and not be “exotic” whereas the basic European style haircuts were the real “exotic”…

Everybody here’s saying it… but never be ashamed to be a woman! Plus I’m pretty sure Kenny is a guy’s name.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
