In 2008 it was learned that she made five clones of her pet pit bull in South Korea,[7] and was subsequently charged with plotting to have a teenager break into a house to raise funds for a prosthetic leg for her horse.[8] In 2016, she sued Errol Morris for making a documentary about her,[9] and in 2019 she killed a 91-year-old Holocaust survivor in a hit and run crash.[10] What the fuck was this woman’s life

This could have really just been a short post about how going out with a mindset of meeting people is valuable, rather than for the sole purpose of meeting women.

There are two nerds sticking out like sore thumbs, engaged in a heated discussion about the ethics of the Rebel Alliance going on suicide missions in Star Wars . We don't have time to share pleasantries-- he identifies my hobbies immediately and we get into a deep discussion. Two hours elapse. I noticed the same thing, like they're doing the same thing he ended up doing. Funny thing is they probably have better self esteem than OP because they don't care what other people are thinking and are th…

Also for hand to hand, don’t be a dumbass and treat it like boxing. Play dirty: eye gouge, throat punch, fish hook, knee to the groin or even a knee stomp if they fall. You should only be getting into a fight if you really have to, so play dirty because it’s about self preservation at that point.

It’s an unfortunate situation in general. A lot of guys come on subs like this when they’re impressionable and just want to do better with girls or feel better about themselves. The pervasiveness of misogynistic ideas makes it really easy to get sucked into that side of things, especially since it was likely negative/lack of experiences with girls that led them here. It’s also really easy to misunderstand a lot of concepts, a common one being ‘be an asshole’. Imagine a 15 year old kid comes on h…

While I agree with you, I think that (or at least hope) most people in this thread are talking about sitting to the left/right of someone at a 4 person table. Edit: Read the comments again and damn, people are definitely talking about being hip to hip. Yeah that's weird pretty much anywhere but a bar. Regardless of how much easier it seems to escalate you'll just look like some weird person who doesn't know social norms.

FWIW no normal person is going to feel weird if you simply make eye contact and smile at them. That’s a really common thing outside of the dating world. If you want to work on the awkwardness then practice things at places where you won’t see the people again. It’s a lot harder to get over the awkwardness when you practice on people you’ll see every week for the foreseeable future, like people at your gym, because it can add pressure that messing it up will make you seem weird. Eventually you’ll…

The only way you’re going to consistently find dates is putting yourself out there and that means there’s an inherent risk of rejection. There’s nothing wrong with that and it doesn’t make you creepy. What makes someone creepy is persistence when it’s clear the girl isn’t interested.

I always looked at it as be true to yourself instead of encouraging people to be complacent. For example, if you like something then own up to it, don’t try change what you like hoping it will make you seem cooler. Or when dressing up wear some things that you like, not what other people tell you to wear.

I had to stop going on that sub because it’s painfully obvious that women make up most of the responses. That’s not a problem on it’s own, but more often than not their point of views on some things (like this) are just absurd. Most things a woman, usually older, posts get validated and pandered to in the comments- I wouldn’t be surprised if it shared a lot of subscribers as two x.

I just don't believe a line up of speakers at a professional event should be intentionally made to be diverse if it jeopardizes the quality of the program. Sure, if there are 100 qualified speakers then look for diversity when picking the lineup, but quality of content is what should be considered first. Whoever is in charge needs to look at qualification regardless of gender/race and pick out who needs to be there and who doesn't, it's that simple. Right now, this is how it's done and once they…

The majority of professional conferences are pay to attend, and the reason that people/companies pay is to gain knowledge and insight for their staff professionally. If a company spends money to send their team to a computer science conference then they expect to get their moneys worth, i.e. the best of the best in terms of speakers and content. No one is spending money on a computer science etc. conference to learn about diversity in the work place, if they wanted to do that then they would att…

[Woman gets off with warning when a man would go to jail] is the reason to confront any intruder in your home with deadly force. He said this is the reason.. this meaning a woman got away without a charge. He's saying to keep women from getting off without going to jail you should kill anyone in your home. Not for self defense, no it's to keep women from living to get off without a charge.

I'm on his side here... "Woman gets off on lighter sentence than a man would" and then the response is "This is why you should kill home invaders" it's pretty straightforward. It might not be what he meant but it's how it sounds for sure. Deconstruct it and you read it like "You should kill all home invaders because women get off easier than men".

Just saw this post and it has a good message, but is anyone going to talk about how Aristotle never said this? In a post about striving for excellence it's kind of ironic that the quote the post is built around was misattributed. What Aristotle said was "these virtues are formed in man by his doing the actions", Will Durant is the one who came up with the interpretation that's in the post.

Women don't rate guys on looks, it's that simple. Of course when you ask them to try and rate guys based on that then only the Adonis's will end up on top and the average guy will be trashed. Looks just aren't a factor unless your a HG8 and as a result everything below that is deemed "unworthy." How would guys do if we were asked to rate women purely based on how much money they made? Most of the women we would have no fucking clue about and just throw down a low number. Sure a few millionaire w…

Groups can be an extreme hassle if you're trying to pick up girls alone so I would stay away from them when possible. Whenever you absolutely have to approach a group, the best thing to do is to engage the group as a whole and slowly start to separate the girl you want from the pack over the course of the night. If you try to go straight for one girl, her friends will likely take her back, but if you make a good impression on her friends they're more likely to let you two be. With a wingman the …

Reading those comments.. jesus christ. How would trying to stop this from happening one time outside of a bar save her? Does he think that the guy will think to himself "Oh wow that guy just got beat up for messing around in other people's business, I should stop hitting my girlfriend." No Way. the comments on here, they're so terribly wrong about how women think and often just stereotypical. That's because it's so much easier and effective to stereotype and hit on a lot of girls in one night, then it is to waste time getting to know someone who might not even be dtf. I'm not saying you shouldn't get to know the opposite sex as friends, but this is seddit after all and that's the method that works the best.

I read a post on one of the popular pick up sites out there awhile ago that said you need to show that you're not boyfriend material. If a girl sees you as a potential provider she's going to be more likely to hold out on sex to appear higher value. It's best to be forward with what you're looking for and to avoid being viewed as a beta in her mind. Follow RP principles and you should be able make your way through it. Additionally you could lie about what you do if you're able to keep up the lie…

I'd imagine it's based off of what you said here... Everyone here seems to forget the fun of pickup. Its just hilarity ensued. You will meet a lot of fun people, you will meet a lot of stingy people. And you will meet some stuck up bitches. That's the truth and don't take any interaction as something that would work for all girls. Which I think is just the nature of pickup, go around and see what happens. No need to be super smooth when you're just moving around getting the numbers.

This seems like the first real test a reimagined you is going through and by going back the your old self when something goes wrong you've failed. Part of changing is leaving your old life behind and moving on to something better. Now I'm not saying you shouldn't be friends with the guy at all anymore but if he doesn't appreciate you getting better as a person is he a true friend? Was there anything on how this effects off campus parties that are hosted by frats? I'm not saying this isn't ridiculously unfair, but a lot of frat parties (or parties in general) are staged off campus; thus the school can't do anything to stop it. No frat drinking? Too bad, off campus parties can't be enforced for shit. And the sober monitors were already a thing, not sure why that had to be added in as a rule.

I believe there was a case not too long ago where the pre-nup was at risk of being ignored because "she was forced into signing it" and there was no evidence of that at all. Not sure what ended up happening to them, but if that's the case not even a pre-nup can help anymore.

I hope I'm not interpreting this wrong, but I don't think it's the fact that it would be hard to imagine never seeing them again; it's the fact that he will see them again for a long time, if that makes sense. He (possibly) is afraid of making things awkward with one girl and having them stay that way. In reality they won't and that feeling of any awkwardness will die down if he doesn't succeed and if he does than great.

Other comment was pretty solid but a couple other things, you really shouldn't respond with two in a row, especially when hers are one line and you have pretty long sentences. At the end there "text me next time you want to hang out." NO. It's not you that should be allowed to hang out with her, she should come to you. Don't give her the power of choosing when to hang out.

I know I need to isolate her and take her to a fuck spot. Or set up a meet for another time via phone/text. Seems like you know exactly what to do but need to act faster if possible. You're getting interrupted mid conversation with girls and have to try and isolate them faster.
