I think you're in the honeymoon phase big time and getting way ahead of yourself. Why rush? You barely know her no matter how good the sex and connection is. You find out over time, and as someone previously said it's not 1930 😂

Totally agree with this , he needs to surround himself with people who love and care for him and be selfish right now. Remember this is all temporary, feelings like this and the struggles are all real emotions, it's how you deal and react to those emotions that are important. Small steps, problem solve things that are causing you grief, small things being solved matter , step by step and try not to think about everything all at once!

This is the right answer. Don't listen to the vindictive peeps on this thread. Every parent deserves a relationship with their children and vise versa. When the time is right and they are old enough they will be told. But matter who was at fault leave the kids out of it and make sure they get love from both parents. Your doing them harm otherwise .

When I got kicked out. Didn't get to see my kids for three weeks, expect that she will use the kids to hurt you now .. if she's decent human being than she will not use the kids against you

Agree with zombie man, the guilt and grieving of the relationship will last for a while, bes to surround yourself with close family and friends, see a psychologist and just concentrate on yourself to be a better person and father for your kids.

I think you will always treat them as such, that will obviously always be true, but fairness and respect is minimum here, doesn't mean we or you owe them anything more than that

I think that is the key, you don't owe them anything but there should always be a mutual respect but over all you need to respect yourself more than anyone else and put yourself before her, reality is we are now our own man, independent of them, it's hard for the other side to realise this I think and takes time and needs to be re enforced

Did you try counselling? But good on you your mental health is a priority, this is life, your kids deserve a happy dad not a miserable one .

Go to mediation, be smart, don't give in to her demands, do what is fair! And never ever give up on your kids , they need you now more than ever

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
