How is dating after getting the divorce? When do you drop the info on your dates and how does that generally go?Also, don’t refer to her as your ex wife in the first couple of dates, don’t give a lot of information since you will eventually, just mention her as your ex couple or just your ex since that’s what she is even tho you where married. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/05/25 07:32 PM
How is dating after getting the divorce? When do you drop the info on your dates and how does that generally go?Been out dating for just a couple of weeks if not month and a half and honestly what works for me it’s just starting over. I have the mindset that not all women’s are the same (in some cases) and that what my ex did to me (something similar like yours) doesn’t define the rest of the world. It’s just like the beginning, I fucking leap of trust and hope for the best. Be cautious of course, but not everyone has the same intentions as our exs. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/05/25 07:30 PM
It's my fault. I'm lost and spiraling. I'll take anything I can get.Own your mistakes and learn from them. You screwed up and there’s nothing you can do to fix it unfortunately man. Try going to therapy, it always helps | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/05/25 09:30 PM
Is it wrong to start going out after a year?Yes, honestly I don’t bother being lonely but you know how it gets sometimes that you just want to lay down your guard and wake up next to somebody special. I’ll try not to be stuck on this. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/05/25 09:27 PM

I am getting worse, not betterI’m going through something similar, it sucks and it’s hard as fuck. But we have to look for something for us. We have to remember that we are individuals. We came alone and we leave alone. Look for something that brings just a little bit of joy to your life. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/03/25 08:44 PM
I am getting worse, not betterYou are not Alone, betrayal sucks but the time will tell who’s at fault at that. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/03/25 08:07 PM
31m going through divorce, I feel like this pain will never go away and just feel sad, alone, and hopelessI thought I was the only one, one month now, trying to stay away from Alcohol but it seems not to be working well, trying to work out and feeling sad and empty like you said. I guess is normal. It’s time to focus on ourselves. It’s hard to think that everything that you worked hard for just walked away that door right? Get up and get your shit together. Yeap, it’s fucking hard. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/10/24 08:21 PM
