I watch porn that would be considered feminist by most normal people (IE mostly women performers and directors, most scenes are women in their own homes doing what they like etc.) but these nutbars still probably want it banned for exploitation of women.

Male porn stars make 77 cents for every dollar a female porn star makes. source: my ass

Like, does the university not have a dean or board of directors or some higher authority she can go to? Or is the fact that they're made up of mostly men mean they're just going to side with the harasser?

Because us men are so terrifying, even when our approach is basically Kif's phone call to Amy (but in person) on Futurama, that women freeze up and their uterus takes over for their brain and as such they are unable to react in any way.

I want every woman to live by that, but the fact of the matter is the vast majority doesn't really want equality. It's starting to feel like there are no feminists in the bedroom

Look at the things women find attractive. They want an assertive, dominant, protective and stoicism. Stoicism. Stop finding that shit attractive if you want to fix it. Or you can acknowledge the genders have differences and we can never truly be equals uwu

White man here. Have nowhere near a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the influence, money or power that they do. Why do you think I'm the problem?

The closest thing we have to a patriarchy is an oligarchy.

If men treated me the way I treated women, particularly ones I'm interested in, the whole world would be like Finland.

Dead on about the patriarchy. Every time I hear it I feel like I'm being labelled as the bad guy but equality is something that I honestly feel shouldn't even be a question in the first place. I've grown up seeing girls and women do things men are "supposed" to do and doing better than them. The "plastics" from my high school being honours students and athletes. I've seen the inverse with men, as my grandfather being the best cook I know being the most shining example. Every time I hear "patriar…

Nononono, that's not how it works. It's not I'm a fuckup, therefore society has to bend to me. If you're fucked up, fuck yourself down by seeing a professional of some sort. It isn't normal to believe half the world is literally out to get you.

I honestly feel I only had to be told what rape was when I was old enough to realize playing with my boner felt good in order to realize it was a bad thing. I will never tell my son not to rape, just as I will never tell him not to kill or steal or destroy.

I was asked out by a girl but dumped because I couldn't be assertive enough for her. This woman was extremely egalitarian and paid for half our dates. We literally can not win.

"MEN ONLY WANT SEX" is a sexist idea and you need to get it out of your head. For your sake and for those around you. Please.

How can you change the world if you don't give a shit about the people you're trying to change? I want to frame this and hang it on my bathroom wall

Obstruction and harassment are crimes that can warrant arrests, and the guys in your sister's story were guilty of both. Why report them for violence when she's already got them by the balls?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
