Only thing that changed in that timeframe was equal rights. I’m not saying that equal rights is bad, but there is a direct correlation between equal rights and divorce rates. It seems to me that it’s time to re write to laws so that men don’t get destroyed every time a woman decides he needs to be punished. 8 years of punishment to date. What have I done to deserve this you ask? I won 50/50 joint shared custody, and I continue to exist.

lol. People need to calm down. I basically added a perspective. One that was open to advice/input. But most of the replies are attacks on my perspective, with no positive input. This is the best one. Not only does it have no constructive value, but it serves to indicate that I apparently think I’m perfect. Thanks for the advice. Feels like I figured out why men’s rights have no value. Men are so broken that instead of supporting other men, they break them down.

Unfortunately, child support is typically not negotiable. However, it’s sometimes hard the realize that it’s temporary. There will come a day, not too far down the line, when the child support will end and you will still have a chance at a life. When you are in the middle of it, it seems never ending and all encompassing, but trust me.. there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

There is a way to defend against it. A logbook that describes all the parenting you do. Women don’t value men for their child rearing abilities, so when asked how much you do in the parenting arena they truly believe that they do it all. So the affidavit would say something like…. He never does any of the parenting. I do all of it…. Blah blah blah. A logbook would prove to a judge that she is lying. And when the judge asks for her logbook?

And don’t rely on text. A judge will not spend any time looking through endless lines of “kk”, “yes”, “no”, mixed in with random misspelled gibberish. You can reference your texts, but excerpts of importance should be hand written in a logbook with time, date, context etc. Also.. wanted to add something people always miss. 10% proven. Over 95% of cases never make it to trial. Therefore, 95% of false accusations never see the light of day ie:(not proven). I’d guess, like you said, that the actual number is much higher. What I would like to see is how many liars were charged for false allegations in family court? Then compare it to criminal court. Family court is a joke, and only helps families of the judges and lawyers.

Not my experience, but I still wouldn’t trust her. You may be able to curb negative behaviours, but the thought process has not changed. She instead keeps quiet giving you the impression that things are better, but she actually banking all of the events when you “controlled” her behaviour.
