There are a lot of jewelry commercials encouraging men to buy expensive gifts for the woman in their life... why is there no female equivalent to this?Monkeys going to monkey. Our 'lizard' part of the brain takes over when attraction is involved. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/02/20 04:05 PM
There are a lot of jewelry commercials encouraging men to buy expensive gifts for the woman in their life... why is there no female equivalent to this?Men have to prove that they can be a provider especially in the absence of decent genes, this has been the way for so long that it is hard wired in our society. Women only have to prove that they have decent genes (read are attractive). They are sold makeup, dieting and beauty products. Either way look at e-thots and you will see how many men are willing to throw money at women for attention. There is no surprise that a market takes advantage of that. There is also a 'romantic' element to gifts … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/02/20 04:03 PM
Q4Men: what do you have to say to the women who try to marry a good man before they hit the wall, but fail? Most incels could get a partner if they settled for a land whale. So it is also due to their high standards too I guess. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/01/20 03:55 AM
Q4Men: what do you have to say to the women who try to marry a good man before they hit the wall, but fail?Except OP said she failed because her standards were too high. I totally agree it's about effort for both genders. I have found the idea of any women not getting a man being only due to standards is a trap to just conclude that women have it insanely easy and that being single is exclusively due to their high standards and not because of circumstance. For most it comes down to exposure, have to constantly be engaging with people to find ones that you click with which is super exhausting and shit… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/01/20 06:34 PM
Q4Men: what do you have to say to the women who try to marry a good man before they hit the wall, but fail?Don't listen to their BS. They say it is easy because they haven't experienced your side and resent women. Tell them they should put in more effort and they will loose their shit but they will tell you it is what you should have done. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/01/20 06:04 PM
Are Western girls culturally broken?Smart foreign women have a weaker social group as they are away from their home network. Smart local women have a better network and are generally not on dating sites as their network satisfies their needs for relationships. You don't run into them so you are having this bias. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/01/20 07:46 AM
Are men becomming less attractive to women?Yep, 75% of all suicides are male I believe. Suicide is also the highest cause of death for anyone between 14-44. I forgot about overdose rates, we also have passive suicide and suicide by police. Plus some people theorise that car accidents in the middle of nowhere are another form of suicide that don't get recorded as such. When I meant a spike I was actually implying higher than it currently is :( | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/11/18 01:16 AM
Are men becomming less attractive to women? The idea of a man's worth being a weighing factor to how attractive the relationship prospect will be has dropped in value and has been for a while. Women are no longer anywhere near as dependant on men as they used to be, so a mans ability to be bread winner is less of a factor for them. Though there is a breed of women who find it to be quite an attractive prospect (mainly because they don't have to work and is supports their lifestyle). If being a provider is the most attractive factor for so… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/11/18 02:57 PM
Are men becomming less attractive to women? This I think is closer to how it will become. A womans dependance on a man being a bread winner as a factor to partnership has been on the decline for ages now so the relationship dynamic is changing. What you described I feel is much closer to how a man describes a strong relationship with a woman. In that a man would appreciate her being his 'rock' while also appreciating the things that she wants to pursue as she is not expected to be the bread winner she herself as a person in his life is a … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/11/18 02:47 PM
