Well they have less suicidal Ideation which is the point we are making with this case. When someone experiences gender dysphoria then they sometimes get suicidal ideation, like this man. The same applies to those who are born male, but don't identify as male as far as gender. The studies they reference talk about the effectiveness of SRS and HRT on the symptoms dysphoria being the opposite of positive wellbeing. Isn't the goal a reduction in negative symptoms?
The fact I am being downvoted to hell is showing me that MRAs are pretty toxic. I am not refuting the fact that what happened to him was awful or that Men don't have serious issues that need addressing as well, I have lived with them myself. I am just correcting the record on transness and this is the response respectfully. I am really disappointed in this community. A community I was a part of.
Thats why its not used to teach gender studies.... it wasn't a good experiment, but it is a decent anecdotal one that gender dysphoria exists and that gender is immutable. Here are some real studies: https://whatweknow.inequality.cornell.edu/topics/lgbt-equality/what-does-the-scholarly-research-say-about-the-well-being-of-transgender-people/ Edit: Thanks rando redditor who awarded me.I appreciate your support.
It actually proves their point, gender is immutable. Not tied to physical characteristics. So people whose gender is not congruent with their sex would likely feel the same gender dysphoria that he felt.
