Why put them to prison? They are not going to do it again anyway.

I'm pro choice. Without that choice I'd have been fucked already at 17

Try to remember what makes you happy and focus on those things. You do not have to perform anymore to anyone. Be easy on yourself and be the best dad you can be!

Authors are both men. They are economists trying to study behavior, not society or politics. PNAS is a quality journal with peer review. I think it's quite safe. Full article is here: http://www.pnas.org/content/109/33/13220.full

I get the joke and all, but there's also this: https://www.newscientist.com/article/dn22119-sinking-the-titanic-women-and-children-first-myth/

Sometime somehow we need to face these issues as men. So many men squander their lives in violence with these instincts that served us in the past millennia but only harm us now. Thanks for posting

Where I live abortions are free. Towns have started to hand out free contraceptives to young adults (male and female) because it leads to less abortions and in total saves money.

It always amazes me when I realize that there's so many young guys out there who think that relationships and sex is required for happiness

Well that's good news! With development of sex robots we can hopefully break the bond completely soon

If artificial sperm is ever created, women will quite simply abandon all contact with all men. They will have no need for us. And it's a good thing. Finally a peace can develop

We should help a fellow human because this becomes a better society if we do so. For everyone, you included. Obviously it is mostly voluntary, sometimes it is legally required. This is not a war and should not be treated as such. What we are witnessing is a profound change in society that is obliterating family and monogamous relationships (all relationships really). I see MGTOW as a good tool in adaptating to this future as man.

So apparently OP was referring to something I completely missed?

Since you brought up marxism... A lot of the farm land in question here was confiscated from farmers who had been working the land for generations. They were evicted without compensation by a very authoritarian government who gave it away to its supporters. Bring that scenario to your home country and tell me you're OK with that. Cause that's a very socialist thing to do

Not MGTOW in any way

That's the biggest barrier you've broken there man! Being independent is being free. I feel you may still have some work to do with yourself, regarding sociopathy and "playing mind games". Think what you want to be and work towards being a good man and a good human being.

If you would help a fellow man in similar distress then you should help a woman. No more, no less.

Hating women will not help you on your road to a better life. Stay focused. Most of what they do doesn't affect you.

Hating other people has never been my thing. I have nothing against women. They have their thing, I have mine. If they are fat or if they use make up (two very recent mtow-posts) has nothing to do with me and doesn't interest me. These posts are only meant to stoke bitterness into men's hearts. It doesn't help in going your own way.

Too much whining about women. Too little GTOW

This sounds like you come from very traditional culture. Where I live many women have already gone their own way and marriage and joint parenting are not options.

If we men stopped dying so young there wouldn't be such a lack of older men.

You know, to me it looks like OP has not let go, that he still hangs on to what women say and do. He's not GHOW if this moves him

Funnily enough my mgtow moment was very similar to hers. I realised I'm never going to be a superman, that I don't want to be a superman. Instead of trying to have it all I would be better of focusing on things that bring me joy. So if she's come to same conclusion, good for her!

And you sir, seem to be just another man who tries to put me in place. I'm not a young lad anymore. I've experienced first hand the violence and evil that men are capable of. Let's leave women out of this and focus on ways we can support men to find their own independent selves.

The way I see toxic masculinity is that it is toxic to men. It's a collection of ways we police other men to stay in line and do what's expected. Instead of allowing men to search for diverse ways to go our own way, often your friends and family pressure you to the "get a job, get a wife, get kids" standard. It's the persistent male-on-male violence that plagues young men.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
