Dude I’m a 7, not a 9. Anyone can get dates with Tinder, it’s only hard in rural areas. If it means that much to you, get some professional photos done, it makes all the difference. If they’re going out of their way to avoid eye contact, definitely don’t talk to them, unless you have a strong opener.

I can tell from the eye contact whether a girl is interested, and I’ll usually open with something like “I caught you checking me out, I feel totally objectified right now.” Or something. Make sure you have something to talk about, like what book they’re reading, what they’re wearing etc. “I like your shirt, I have curtains that look just like that back home.” You know, something cheeky but not completely neggy

As a fellow introvert, it’s all about finding your strengths. I’ve taught myself (mainly through bartending at university) to be confident in one on one/two/three situations, and how to talk with strangers. Now I know that I’m likely to have a panic attack in a loud club, so I don’t go clubbing. I instead talk to people in parks, quiet bars and sometimes the gym.
