After 10-15 minutes, and a half hour? She found out her fantasy didn't live up to expectations for any number of reasons, not necessarily your performance. It could have been your brand of toothpaste, dirty dishes in the sink, etc.

Internal damage won't happen, but scratches to the sidewall or to the fender are sure to occur with people going up and down.

And using your husband's money to pay for Hello Fresh boxes of ingredients and a biweekly cleaning lady does not count as cleaning and cooking.

At some point, they deserve each other. But the government certainly isn't issuing grown-up firearms to the ones that can do the job properly and idiot-proof firearms to the idiots.

First was to match the trigger pull of the previously-issued double-action revolver, ignoring that a double-action revolver could be cocked into single-action for more accurate shots. Then because a heavier trigger pull would prevent accidental discharges when idiots were fingering their guns.

It's because in NYC, they required first the NY1 trigger and then the NY2 trigger in their Glock pistols. A standard Glock has a 6lb trigger pull. NY1 has a 8lb trigger pull, and NY2 has a 12+lb trigger pull. Plus, with NY triggers, there is no soft take-up with reduced pressure before the "glass rod" effect where you hit a point in the trigger's travel to apply the full force necessary to instantaneously release the striker ("snapping a glass rod" is how a well tuned pistol feels), instead, the…

They're all paid shills, every tweet or post is sponsored to show off a brand or promote a venue/project. Kim Kardashian was in a lawsuit and it was revealed her Instagram posts generally cost $500k for product placement.

They didn't corrupt an institution, they went too cheap. If they had written a check to the university itself to endow a chaired professor ($1.5-3mil depending on the school and the prestige of the position, some even publish the prices on their website), then had their kids write the admission essays about visiting the campus, meeting the staff, talking at length with the professor their parents were supporting through their generous gift about their passion for film making or whatever, etc, th…

She didn't even buy anything, she was just there cleaning out her Escalade in the parking lot, and wanted to tell the manager the dumpster was full thanks to her five contractor bags of shit.

Agreed. Are her monologues part of the normal conversational flow, or does she just go full-autistic on randoms? She could try finding the local science/engineering college's grad student bar, she'll have five marriage proposals by closing time. She should be ready to fill out immigration paperwork for two or three of them, and the others might need a lecture about how Tab A goes into Slot B. The other patrons will be laughing their asses off.

Watch the video again, those were seasonal/temporary Special Police, they didn't have pepper spray, tasers, or batons to use because the town won't waste the time to certify them before putting them on patrol. They're coming from college finals, hitting a quick academy, and going out on patrol checking for open beverages and weed. The town only certifies them to use a firearm just so they won't be out there unarmed and get killed if they walk into something really bad.

The two cops that went hands-on with her were Special Police, not real police officers, they're seasonal/summer employees of NJ beach towns and usually college students working towards their criminal justice degrees. Notice neither one had a baton, pepper spray, tazer, etc, and they had to discuss if either of them has cuffs and finally retrieved a pair from the ATV. Then the one tells her "you're getting dropped" instead of using acceptable language (which causes her to freak out, fearing the b…

There used to be an unspoken criteria for use of the word "lingerie," otherwise you were assigned the word "underwear." Journalism really has gone downhill in an effort to get clicks, previously you'd already bought the newspaper so they didn't need to sensationalize the headline on page B14.

Someone I knew shot his oneitis, her one-night-stand, the roommate, and himself. When my daughter's old enough to date, I'm definitely teaching her to be very clear when she's not interested in a guy and the earlier the better. Just ignoring it doesn't work, some BP guys need a "I will never have sex with you" stapled to their forehead before they realize it's not happening.

The trustee is not usually the beneficiary for the financial planning scenarios the OP is describing where the purpose of the trust (and the trustee's duty) is to protect the beneficiary's future interests from their own stupidity/issues/age. In other scenarios, they may be, such as for firearms ownership trusts where the trust is more a legal vehicle to own the weapon (usually for multiple people to have access to what would otherwise be restricted to a single individual) and everyone involved …

And it's amazing the things they'll say to the dry cleaner. A friend is first generation American, her mom is from SEA and doesn't talk in English but can understand just enough to run their dry cleaning shop. A few days a month, my friend will help out at the shop, everyone assumes she doesn't speak English because she talks to her mom in their native tongue. The customers that say anything mean get a quick lesson in manners with tons of profanity.

My wife wants a new minivan and another baby. Asking her to save the cost of daycare and a minivan payment every month so she could see what it would do to our finances (I pay for #1's daycare, my car, and all other household bills) seems to have been the equivalent of asking her to sell her body on the street.

Print copies of your phone records immediately, especially if you can print all of your texts and incoming/outgoing calls. Is your lawyer a criminal lawyer or some other specialty? If not, does his firm practice criminal law and have someone you can consult with? This isn't something for your tax attorney to handle. As others have said, all the weed and paraphernalia needs to disappear today.

My wife crapped herself when she saw my bank statements while I did our taxes one year, she wanted us to take all of my cash reserves and go on a 3 week vacation immediately. Nope, those reserves are exclusively for when my rental property needs a roof or HVAC. She sulked for weeks. I learned my lesson and do our taxes while she's at work, we still don't have a joint account.

Betas demand, Alphas command. Compare vs street cred where every thug repeatedly demands respect and is willing to start a fight or start shooting if he feels slighted over things even as minor as a spilled drink or scuffed shoe. A real badass wouldn't need to say a single word about respect.

At the time, I assumed they thought I was lying about the travel (playing around on them on those weeks), the money (post dotcom-bust, so young people were struggling for jobs), the house, etc. Now I realize it was my attitude, where I was trying to make them like me and be nice while showing I could provide, and I switched to not giving a crap about what they thought because I was burned out on the rejections. They saw my beater but I knew I had the 'burb at home, I wasn't going to waste money …

There's a reason cops make fun of their friends for being "Captain SaveAHo." Their money, sanity, and sometimes their job, soon end up in the dumpster. If she wants to get over the issues that drove her towards her CC time, she needs a therapist's shoulder to cry on, not a boyfriend's. Until she has taken the steps to find that therapist, steer clear.

I had tons of problems trying to find a serious girlfriend when i wanted something stable. No girls believed my travel destinations or frequency (50%), discretionary spending, and owning my own home as an engineer <5 years out of college. I started driving my junker instead of my Suburban to dates, changed to a less-traveled position, insisted on going dutch, and never mentioned the mortgage, letting them assume it was rented, with significantly better results.

The negotiations part is so true. One of my friends gets paid half my salary, we're both the same flavor of engineer and worked in the same office for several years, but she doesn't say "I want more money" during annual reviews and asked for a very low number when she signed on.

And most of the studies look at anyone working over 32 hours a week and consider them to all be full-time employees. A not-insignificant number of women only work 32 hours a week so they can be home for their kids after school, so of course they're going to be paid less than their male coworkers who average 40 or 50 hours a week.

Months before his wedding, I told my brother all my concerns with his fiancé and offered to help him bail out of it. His response? "It's either go through with this or spend who knows how long finding someone better." Some people just can't see that sometimes you just have to pull that ejection handle and let life go where it may. They're trapped by the comfort of the now, even if it's not a great situation, and don't want to face the unknown.
