That is what I guessed about the speed dating, and honestly good on you man for trying something new. That is a real shame it went the way that it did.

Hey man, I get you. I've read some of your replies as well. I'm depressed, anxious and stuck in the same place for years too. And therapists just made me feel worse. I'm sorry they treated you that way. Both the therapists and the speed dating. And I'm sorry there's so much pressure on you man. A change may be good for you, as well as being around others that treat you okay. I know how much it sucks

It should do yeah, especially with a partner. But trying to do nice and thoughtful things for my partner never made them stop abusing me. They just wanted me to do what they wanted me to. Using me and then emasculating me for it after, saying that I was not a real man because I was kind. You'll probably get a positive reaction in early stages of dating though. That's good you've had a good experince though. Unfortunately not every man has had the same

The fact they are even saying it disproves that women are good and caring. Because a good and caring woman doesn't shit on men like that Even if she's had a bad experince and longs to be cared for. A good/caring woman doesn't take her emotions out on others

Though to be fair, I never said "the future is female" or said any hatred towards men. But I had to deal with those phrases, blame and lack of empathy constantly.

That's exactly how I got indoctrinated into it. Felt like everything was my fault AND my responsibility. And that everybody else's feelings/wellbeing is above my own. I depersonalized myself so much, had no opinions or likes of my own. Felt terrible for anything that was personal to me, because what if that "upsets" somebody else? Like my masculinity That's what years of abuse did to me I don't want to be a martyr for people that don't care about me anymore, feminist or not You have good insight

When girls have complained about "sexist societal standards"; especially with beauty standards, and I get the opportunity to ask them where it came from. It's always from their own mother or female friends I fail to see how that's a man doing it when in even some instances they heard it purely from other women

Out of the ones I've known, they later transition to female. Or they say they are female/nonbinary but don't transition physically. So.. it's in self interest I suppose. The studies on transgender people reveal that they have the brains of the gender they identify as. So they legitimately have female brains lol Otherwise it's self interest in other ways. They think it makes them look good without having genuine values or knowledge about the world. Or they're just copying what the people around t…

Men get called sexist and victim blamed everytime we speak up outside of these places. We are shamed for it; which affects us even more, as a group more vulnerable to being isolated and without support. However we do collectively speak up in places like these. Which I'm sure that we both know are given a bad reputation for such. It wouldn't be seen as bad if our culture was genuinely for men's rights, which are human rights. I wish I knew women or anyone really who stood up for men's lives in my…

Exactly that. Gender is used as just another arbitrary pawn in the game of power. Deep down they just want to hurt people, they don't care about the arguments level of truth. Infact they often lie. And we gotta call this bullshit out if we want a culture without power-hungry cruelty.

Damn you hit the nail with the "deviance". Not only do I feel terrible for being a man, but ashamed for even feeling that way. Because I just know how much they would invalidate me for even saying that. Despite them WANTING me to feel that way. I mean, this is just how abuse works. They give you no wins. They just want others to feel as miserable as they are. Even though every abuser could've just gone to therapy instead.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
