Take a community college course or do a web search for self teaching on “Basics of Investing”. Learn about mutual funds. Thanks for your quick reply! I had a friend from South Africa that moved to Alabama and that I had later went to University with. Our group always had a good laugh with him asking if he would write African American on job applications or when he applied for school scholarships! Anything with Vanguard. Wish I did that first before screwing around with Janus mutual funds at 22 years old. Remember....Time is Money!! Put it away like Rpbanker says...watch it grow. If you like cities, then Winnipeg might just be your fit...but if you like the country or prefer small towns, then there are other places around Manitoba to choose. Look into Brandon or somewhere close to it. Look for cheaper RM taxes too. Taxes will rob you of your wealth over time. Most people don’t consider taxes until they are middle aged. You have plenty of years before you. Don’t waste them chasing women.
