Wait, why are you moving out? Do you have proof that she cheated? I'd get all the proof you can and use that as leverage...

Sure, so for 3x10 I do 185 lbs for bench. Bench has always been my weakest, I just started focusing on it the last few years. Squats and Deadlift I haven't done in awhile due to my back issues Db tricep extensions are 45lbs. Barbell curls are 70 to 80 lbs. Db press is 35 to 40 lbs. Some machine weights at work are unreliable because for lat pull downs I max out the rack at 200 lbs but it's probably closer to 150 I'd say so I can't give an exact number. Side question while I'm thinking about it -…

That post you linked really hit home and described my situation as well, thanks for that. I can indeed have sex whenever I want it, my concern is her not initiating or showing affection. Others on here have said that they had a similar situation, treated their SO like I am treating mine now, and in time the SO came around, so that was my plan. Should I ditch this plan and just fuck her like you described in your other post or change it up in some way? Thanks again for the comment, it really help…

OK that makes more sense. I don't consider myself alpha, I want to be more alpha and I acknowledge that. I just feel like I have a good alpha beta mix as opposed to just beta (referring to MMSLP). I don't ask for sex, I don't plead for sex. If I initiate then we have sex but she rarely says no, just to give context. My lifts are posted up top. I'm starting a new program to incorporate more running but I'll post that during my next OYS once I get that worked out. I'm 5'10, 220lbs, bf in low 20s. …

I'm appreciative of those who are actually trying to help me and providing context to those who missed certain spots of my post

So you're saying MMSLP is wrong? What do you recommend then?

I've lifted heavy 3 to 5 times a week for the last 9 yrs now. I'm a 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps type, not 5x5

You're missing the point, reread it again

I'll throw those in now. Most posts didn't have them, didn't know what to include.

I'm talking more in my first OYS to give a background to my situation, as we're supposed to do. I kept it at the length of others on here. I am above my wife in the attractiveness scale which is why I'm on here because it doesn't align with what MMSLP discusses. And as I mentioned a few times in my post, my main goals are diet exercise and losing weight. I am no longer in her sexual frame. I am working on myself first.

I haven't done a 1RM on any of these since last year. Bench - maybe 225 Squat - maybe 300 to 350 Deadlift - used to be 315. Don't Deadlift anymore due to back issues I was in her sexual frame until last week

The middle part of what you said I agree with, hence why I said I've stopped initiating and am working on myself and no longer believe that.

I like those subs for more of the seductive aspect and seducing women for sex, not the pay for sex ones. I see your point on each one however.

I've read the abundance mindset but how does that pertain to my situation?

Yes, that is very true. I am still working on that and I've noticed that the big hang up for me was trying to make it so enjoyable for her that she'll want it all the time. I've been making a conscious effort to change that frame to my wants vs hers.

OYS #1 Breakdown- 5'10, 220 lbs Lifts- Bench - maybe 225 Squat - maybe 300 to 350 Deadlift - used to be 315, no longer Deadlift due to back issues Mid 30s couple. Married 5 yrs, together 7. Lurking the past year, making a commitment for real progress within myself. Main issue is wife doesn't initiate sex nor show affection. Despite our "yearly talk" where I've told her she needs to be more affectionate and initiate more, nothing has changed. I've told her it feels like we're just friends at this…

Hey thanks for being supportive, really beneficial to this sub.

I am doing my own OYS, worry about yourself. I'm helping others out as you should be doing.

Regarding your sex talks with your wife, I had a similar experience. Every year I'd do the "I'm not living like this, being the only person to initiate" only to be met with a handful of excuses. If I didn't initiate sex we'd have it once every 3 or 4 months. So now I'm living like she's my roommate, focusing on my own shit, being cordial but also being short with her. Not initiating, barely giving her intimacy. Whereas before I'd give her a pat on the ass or kiss her neck at times, now I just do…

My problem is I either last 2 minutes or I lose it 5 min in. I've been realizing lately that it's more performance anxiety due to the fact that I have to basically tell my wife we're having sex since she doesn't initiate. I've been focusing on making sex so pleasurable for her between introducing a new toy and improving my oral game in the hopes that she wants it more. And I've been telling her for a couple years now about how she could experience this pleasure on a daily basis but she hasn't su…

I'm going to start with the roomie thing. I've been telling my wife for 3 years that I feel like we're just friends now due to her lack of affection. I've been reading MMSLP and have been working on improving myself even moreso and as one person said "living like I'm single again".

Yep. I thought I remembered reading something on here about how the sub went under scrutiny and was almost shut down but can't find it. Maybe another similar sub? Either way, I also wanted to say I've read some of your other posts and comments and being in a similar boat it definitely helps put things into perspective for me.

Read all of your comments here and I'm glad that somebody has real advice here instead of just "read the sidebar".
