I think a big factor that none of us will know is, was this the first time? Is that all they were able to get her on trial for committing? Has she done it to others? i think one of the major issues, is confirming consent in the court of law. Consent is verbal and can easily be revoked. I gave some thought to this problem...in my opinion (although it would be really weird) someone should develop and app where you can record the person giving consent. That way if something like a rape charge does arise, you can show this video proving that said "victim" is lying.
