Since we see this space-time compression, hypergamy becomes more extreme, with a much larger range of options, her standards rise. This results in the cream of the crop having all the sex. With that happening, single mothers are more prevalent. With many fatherless children, society could take a large toll, but I don't think it will ever stop functioning due to this.
