Except population growth in third world countries won't stop growing, and first world countries continue to lessen. Overpopulation isn't an issue in first worlds, in fact we're on the road to being underpopulated. Its really just a problem in China and third world countries.

No woman can be Nawalt since they all have the power of the law behind them. If you wanna try to pass the coin flips of divorce and mental illness go ahead, but not in this sub. Especially strange since you already failed that coin flip when you were younger.

Except we do have reasons. Of course there will always be a few outliers in any movement/subreddit, but most of us on here do not hate women. We mainly see how the court system favors women, and how the social climate favors women, and we choose not to form relationships. Mgtow is less of a ideology (although some think that it is) and more of an individuals current stance on the dating scene. We just have a place here for likeminded people. Most of the time, if someone on here actually hates wo…

Its an earnings gap not a wage gap. People don't earn different wages since theyre already set. But they do earn different amounts of money depending on profession, willingness to ask for raises, maternity leave, etc.

In this case, it isn't self centered since there are various views shown, if it was self centered, it would only show his opinion. You can be self centered when reflecting on yourself yes, but only if you disregard other sides of the argument. The song is about someone repeatedly shooting up heroin, and his thoughts while doing it. He discusses his personal feelings while doing it. The lines: "When I'm closing in on death You can't help me, not you guys And all you sweet girls with all your sweet talk You can all go take a walk" Shows that the others around him are telling him to stop, since they're worried about him. However the character doesn't care. This shows the feelings of those around him. The line: "Heroin, be the death of me…

Heroin is about How he feels about heroin, how others feel about heroin, his inner struggle relating to heroin, and what others think about addicts of heroin. It's a multifaceted song about the issue. There she goes again is a song about prostitution. How the woman feels about it, how she is treated by others, her conflict in daily life, and how she is seen by others. It takes a broad look at the topic and is very multifaceted. Sister ray is a show of just how low one can go when on drugs. It sh…

Heroin, Sister Ray, I'm waiting for my man, Femme Fatale, There she goes again. There's your 5 songs. I have listened to all of the beatles main albums extensively, and I even own them all. I listen to them for the music, rather than to read into the lyrics. My argument was never that lyrics were the tell tale sign of good music. My argument was that pop music generally has lower quality lyrics, since the songs are usually about Love or Drugs, and spoken in a very self centred way. You can have …

You got me there, you listed more than 5 songs. You win an up vote! My argument was about lyrics considering thats what the post is about. So yes, melody and production are all good. My argument was that their lyrics are usually about love, and now im gonna have to add drugs when referring to the Beatles. When the velvet underground talk about drugs or sex, its usually in a different perspective. Instead of what the drugs did to you/made you realize (like how the Beatles take that on) they talk …

My point from the beginning was about lyrics, not melody. And yes, anyone can write lyrics, but it takes a poet to be on the level of Bob dylan or Lou Reed. Honestly, rhyming isnt as easy as you'd think considering that half of the rappers/pop musicians today have ghost writers. The Beatles were doing great music, and if thats what you're into, thats fine. They had great melodies, and to the ear they sounded great. I agree with you there. However they never really made anything sad, aside from t…

I said either is about love, or mentions love. Which most of those songs do. Look up the lyrics for Tomorrow never knows and right in the middle you'll see what i mean. Anyone can write a half decent chord progression, but it takes a genius to create beautiful lyrics. The problem with the beatles is that they can't get away from that sickly sweet loving attitude, they're completely one dimensional. Whenever the beatles tried to go "artsy" in their later albums, it just sounded like a 12 year old…

Pop music has to fit to the lowest common denominator. Throughout time, pop songs have had sub par lyrics, usually about love. Even Queen had that song about Bicycles, and I enplore you to find more than 5 songs by Elvis or The Beatles that aren't about love, or mention it. Pop music molds to the whole of society, hence why it is POPular, and hence why it has simple lyrics about love. Throughout time however, there have been plenty of artists (and even pop artists) that have broken the mold and …

Well if an employer was paying a woman less than an equal male coworker, it would be illegal since there are laws to protect against that. Therefore your wage would be exactly the same, and there is no wage gap. Any logical person can come to that conclusion. However, men on average take higher paying jobs, and negotiate for raises more often than women. They also dont have maternity leave, and im sure there are more contributing factors. So on average, if you were looking at plain statistics wit…
