Perhaps I worded myself poorly. I don't disagree with you, but as a viewer in this sub the past few months that mentality has felt scarce

You might want to leave this sub then sadly

Unless her boyfriend is okay with it, you are both being pretty shitty. It also means she would definitely do the same thing to you if it ever progressed into your relationship.

They are, in fact, lyrics. And I use the term loosely

That new account just to weave a tale? Nice may may. Higher quality than a lot of posts I see that are being serious though

In my experience, no. It's carrying yourself well, having purpose, not playing stupid games, and being genuine. Oh, and being someone they actually happen to be interested in. Not every girl will fall for some "perfect game", they might just honestly not be into you, something a lot of people in here don't get.

Sometimes he is too passive, sure. He's just not a giant douche. You don't have to be "alpha fuck ass steroids MACHO" to get a girl that is as objectively hot as Penny.

I currently date and live with the girl I had a giant crush on in highschool. Did not start dating in HS though and I do not regret that choice

What has been said already, be open about your expectations, and what you do and don't want. As I'm recently single myself I've had the, "I'm not interested in anything more than casual dating at most for the time being" conversation a few times. No reason to feel bad if you have done the right thing, the rest would be self-inflicted upsettedness

Why does everyone go back to some canned line about taking her away? Can she not have a good relationship and it not be a time for you to connect? Either just be friends and leave it or say that's fine no worries and be on your damn way. If there are signs she isn't happy about it that can be different but come on now.

I've been called charming by a decent number of folks, and the only thing I could attribute it to when I am really thinking about it is this. I am very genuine, I don't fake much if any of my enthusiasm or emotions when conversing with people (male, female, customer, potential girl, random stranger, etc). I am typically upbeat, engaged, eye contact, and actually converse with people. I would think that has to do with it. I think charming is less it's own entity and more of a broad adjective fitt…

What do you have to lose by asking now? In what way have you been defeated? The only defeat to accept here would be the one you give yourself.

If the girl tells me I usually just say that's cute in a sarcastic way and we laugh it off. If I'm there too I let them know how adorable they are

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
