Wow, i am definitely no "normie lurker" but rather a long time sub and yes i know shit about many injustices in todays society. I didn't say anything against an occasional vent here and there but if this whole sup is just a giant circlejerk about how men are so neglected in every aspect you don't sound any better than a feminists who screams "muh oppresion". It depends. I don't really know for Spain, but in Germany women aren't really interested in politics (measured in the number of party members which is a reliable source imo since no ones stops them from joining one). So if there are actually more women than men in a cabinet even though the men outnumber women in any politcal party by quite a big margin, chances are that the better men are not considered for the job in order to fill a political agenda. The similiaritiss are striking. Feminists whine over the patriarchy while MRA cry over a "matriarchy". While i share the sentiment that most of modern media and journalists lean way too much towards feminism most of todays womem don't share these views and actually agree with you when you lay these points out constructively. But shoving them in their face and crying over female oppression will just reel them away

Because I feel like the focus of this sub should be exactly there! Thinking about solutions to solve that issue. There is no doubt whether these things need to be fixed but rather how. And crying over the same hypocrisy again and again just won't change shit

Oh wtf, this is why this sub has a bad reputation. You seriously want to impose a ban on certain outfits so men don't get distracted? Yeah no, let everybody dress the way they want to. And harvey Weinstein is a piece of shit that abused his position of power to harrass those that he can control,he is certainly not an innocent angel that just happens to ruin his life by on slip up.

I personally disagree with the statement that scientists have no problem with spreading negative stereotypes about men. They conducted a study and as long as their methods hold up to scientific standards and is critically reviewed there is nothing judgemental about their results. I agree that the headlines are the usual men bashing themes, but the study itself isn't judgemental whatsoever. I mean from an evolutionary standpoint it just makes sense.

The part that really grinds my gears is, that her first reaction to him and his attorney attending the speech was "so you are still not over it, to be honest i am a little bit moved". This is where i would have lost my shit if i was there. This woman had a major part in ruining this guys reputation and his life and has the audacity to say that. Really unbelievable
