I would say Mission and Purpose are along the same lines as Tactics vs. Strategy. Your mission(s) are a subset of your overall Purpose, whatever it may be. Using your example, if your Mission is to Get Fit + Travel, I would presume that your "Purpose" is to develop YOURSELF into the best possible version of yourself, via physical changes (getting fit) and mental/spiritual changes (growth from culture shock, looking outside the "box" of your local nation, etc). Like in war how tactics are used to…

Not a problem, let me take care of that a little later. One thing I'll say is that I tried to incorporate a lot more bodyweight, closed-chain exercises to keep my muscles somewhat in action, as well as doing a LOT of mind-muscle connection work (contract-relax work to fire muscles) in order to hopefully reduce the muscle loss. So it's not like I stopped doing everything, but heavy lifting was definitely dropped.

"True wisdom is the understanding of the underlying concepts, how they relate to situations that seem irrelevant but really are not." -D. Nero Not everyone has reached the point of true wisdom yet, so worry not, your message was understood.

I'm not a good example in terms of capacity to keep your gains/leanness, as I had a really bad injury right after I came off which set me out from the gym for around 13 months now; first 5 still trying to lift (and exacerbated the issue) and the last 8 months completely off from lifting. That being said, I definitely lost a substantial amount of muscle mass due to not lifting and cutting in general (might as well lean down if I'm not going to lift heavy), but my body still has decent definition …

Why do you say that some guys will never really have a shot, barring severe physical or mental deformities? Obviously there will be an end range of bottom 5% similar to the top 5%, but for the average dude, they are always in the position to improve and better themselves and increase their SMV. It's the mindset you're suggesting that anchors guys more to believing it's impossible rather than making due with what they can and coming to terms that everyone has their individualism which makes them …

Would you like some more judgement with your generalization? If someone loves bodybuilding and passionately invests everything into it, it's something to be celebrated and respected

There's two sides to every story, and everyone is diff. I was on for around 2.5 years blasting and when I came off fully with PCT I didn't have much of the negative effects (depression, etc), but I did feel a little "off" for 3-4 months. I'm 100% now, but I figure either I was used to the feeling of being "On", or it may have taken some time for my body to stabilize with hormones

More accurate than the hand-held consoles for sure. I agree that most want to be critics, but in this scenario with something that has steep diminishing returns (difficulty to lower bodyfat increases exponentially with less fat available), it's very easy for people to exaggerate their numbers which paints a very different (and unrealistic) picture to others. The big issue is that the "integrity" of the value people give, such as being "10%" bf, always has room for being skeptical due to the vari…

Did you do "multiple body fat tests" aka use the machine at the gym where you hold handles and get "tested"? Or did you use a bodpod DEXA scan to get that fat% Recognize that the general populace (including the average TRP individual in here) doesn't know what realistic "body fat percentages" or methods of calculating are, it's the "be yourself to get girls" spread of misinformation on the topic of bodyfat.
/r/TheRedPill24/08/18 08:04 PM

You need to read more about bodyfat and what's realistic, or just don't reply. Your post is passive aggressive (covert woman-speak), and even worse, not justifiable because you're calling out someone who's completely correct.

You've made 3 steps forward with this post you created, but you're taking 2 steps back with your responses to people. Stop making assumptions about the future of what "would or wouldn't have worked" unless you're a professional time traveller, because otherwise you wouldn't know and are simply justifying it to yourself rather than actually learning.

Not true, in the 1950's shaming was much more socially acceptable. You can't shame anyone anymore in today's society, because everyone's "special" and "unique" and have egos which are too sensitive for any insult.

While cardio is a great tool, saying it is the key to getting in shape is misinformation. Abs are developed through weight training (or through training them in general, though some people can be gifted genetically), and revealed through weight loss (which is achieved through having a TDEE greater than your calorie intake). Cardio is one method to increase your TDEE.

If you read the study information, they use the term "Fat-free mass" which means all mass that ISN'T fat, including muscle, air, and water. The gains were based off fat-free mass which means that they gained ~7 lbs of something, and ANYONE who studies steroids and knows how they affect the body can easily attribute that to the increased water retention and bloating from increasing testosterone/estrogen. Also, the article loses all credibility because they immediately menion "7 lbs of muscle mass…

I don't know why you're being downvoted, you're absolutely correct. In the studie /u/ItzEJ is talking about, they measured the difference of LBM (Lean Body Mass, not Muscle Mass) to be approx 7 lbs difference, which is typical for anyone hopping on gear to gain due to increased water retention. While the higher hormones will cause the body to WANT to become larger and more muscular, it's not possible without increased calories to provide the building blocks to grow, and tearing the muscle from p…

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, the misinformation needs to stop. "Molly" is the street name for a number of drugs, because it's become so diluted in the use of popular club/rave culture now. It can easily be MDMA, MDA, PMDA, Bath Salts, and a bunch of other substances because people don't know better, although originally it was "supposed" to be MDMA. Ecstasy is MDMA mixed with Speed (Amphetamine) which gives you that energetic, happy high and makes you feel like dancing. …

I can see where you're coming from, and agree with your logic, though to be fair I don't see how it differs from other sports which could consider "restrictions" in their divisions as well. For example, basketball is one where if you're not tall, you're not going to succeed unless you have some insane specialty. Slightly similar to sprinting, where I'd say height generally correlates with speed (longer strides, etc). In those cases, you could have "height" divisions with restrictions to level th…

There are ranges in testosterone between the men that compete, though. Not all men are born with the same amount, and whether or not they use exogenous testosterone to match or supersede that genetic difference is the variance among athletes. You can't blame someone for being genetically gifted, either physically in size, or hormonally.

I just wanted to point something out, but one thing that this post does is shrink the seriousness of 6-months of working out towards bettering yourself with these lines: apply fitness 6 months; apply fashion $300 Your fitness has improved from skinny-bitch to athletic. Your style has improved from chump to champ. goto bar; approach hot "hi" I want to remind everyone realistically that working out for that long of a time period is EXTREMELY important and that it WILL take long hours, consistency,…

I think everyone learns this the hard way, when they try to share their amazing discovery with their friends who they earnestly want to become as aware and successful (in time), but realize how hard it is when their claims and suggestions are slapped back with "They're not like that" and "That's not how you should be doing it". I know myself I need to start staring off into the distance, eyes glazed over and just uttering a simple "Yup," even if my mind is running in circles 300x over.

That's an assumption, the only time an individual REQUIRES AAS to stay at a certain level is if they reach their genetic limit, which I'll confidently say the majority of gym goers don't reach. I'm by no means condoning recreational steroid use but it's important to understand goals behind using for each individual and not jump to conclusions or make blanket statements

Glad you added the last portion. I was wondering, "If I'm going to freeze her out, how do I keep away physical contact without putting off an angry or frustrated vibe" since pushing her away or refusing to give physical contact will lead to questions/statements from her like "You're mad, aren't you" and "See, you are frustrated!" and etc.

I don't think you know what functional strength implies. For clarification, functional strength would be more Strongman-orientated as you're lifting heavy boulders, carrying heavy weights around your shoulders, etc etc. It's constantly a full body-activity that fires every muscle in your body to push the weight. Realistically, you will rarely find yourself in a position on your back where you will have to "bench" a heavy weight. Unless you happen to be smothered by a sexually addicted obese woma…

My question to you is why you view it that way. If you don't like the person you are when you're with them, why aren't you controlling your own shit better? I have BP and RP friends that I hang out with and I've tried to give "advice" as well but as many people on this subreddit say, you can't bring them to TRP until they're ready to receive it. Back to you, if you truly feel it's your friends fault that you're feeling bad and having troubles, then yes, cut them off. But if you review the situat…

The reason for 3 workouts per week is to give your body the chance to recover and rebuild, where the "real" muscle growth occurs, since going to the gym only tears the muscles down. If you go to the gym and hit the same muscle groups too extensively (especially as a beginner) it isn't optimal. Instead, solid workouts followed by solid rest will produce the best result, as well as not psychologically burning you out quicker. If you have all the free time in the world, feel free to go more often a…

To each their own, but I would be weary of using the word "respect" towards people that attend events, get to the point where they're not in control anymore and simply want to "get away" for a bit. I would consider that trying to escape from reality, whereas TRP is for coming to terms with, and learning to control your reality

To use a raver analogy, you sound like the type of guy that goes to a rave to pop drugs and party hard. A lot of people in the scene go because of a love for the music, which for many is the "right" way, but there are some that go to events purely as a mean to get fucked up, take a bunch of drugs and be completely belligerent. TRP is definitely supporting of how to get laid and meet women, but that's a small part of the main path, just like how drugs, taken responsibly, are to facilitate the enj…

You did it right because it's what YOU wanted. Value yourself and your own time more than just having some sex, and you'll go far. It's easy to change the frame if you think about it, if you agreed with her request after already telling her you were going home because you had work early in the morning, the message is "I know I have to sleep early for work, but I would stay up and sacrifice my sleep for sex with you."
/r/TheRedPill19/12/13 03:19 PM

In my opinion, if your end goal in TRP is to just get laid, you should probably go back to /r/seduction. OP is clearly proud of his accomplishments and didn't express any regret with his decision at the end, which means he's doing a great job at finding himself and his value, rather then jumping at any chance to get his dick wet. I'll take +self-confidence over +sex count anyday. Not to say they're mutually exclusive, of course.
