Husband asks for paternity test for peace of mind. Dear Prudence says husband must have a psychological problem.I have two kids, and in both situations, both of us were shoved these papers and expected to fill them out before the child left the hospital. | /r/MensRights | 01/05/14 03:08 PM
Husband asks for paternity test for peace of mind. Dear Prudence says husband must have a psychological problem. But in that case the mother wouldn't match the child either, right? | /r/MensRights | 01/05/14 02:43 PM
To those who have arrived here for the first time because of the SNL sketch... Welcome. Please join the discussion.Watching last night's episode now and the skit was making me so uncomfortable I went to take a shit and told the wife to leave it running. | /r/MensRights | 09/03/14 05:19 PM
This wasn't in the rulebookPulling out, if done "properly", is a lot more effective than originally believed. Edit: added planned parenthood link (sorry it's mobile) 96% effective if done properly every time. http://m.plannedparenthood.org/mt/www.plannedparenthood.org/health-topics/birth-control/withdrawal-pull-out-method-4218.htm | /r/MensRights | 25/04/13 05:06 PM
What's the MRA solution to reproductive rights discrimination against men?Actually I believe it is called feticide (sp) unless someone can prove the baby was actually considered legally alive outside the womb (took a breath or something). The penalties aren't as harsh as murder. There was a case in my state not long ago unfortunately, and due to incompetence the baby was cremated before autopsy. | /r/MensRights | 17/01/13 05:33 AM
FB: Guy gives up bus seat for girl. "He deserves a medal!" Hooray sexism!I think you got it in reverse. Saw it done on Manswers, if that isn't reputable enough, they had a scientist explain all the reasoning behind it. Edit: can't remember for sure, but I think they have to be a certain size relative to the woman's body also. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 10:45 PM
It must seem like a really evil world out there when you interpret every behavior as a product of "male privilege."Wait, don't count him off yet. Wait till he dies and ask if he still has never been kicked in the nuts. Then if he hasn't you can deduct him. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 08:09 PM
The National Scruples and Lies Survey is Filled with Gems Such as: "HALF of all women would lie to their husbands or partners to keep their relationship going if they became pregnant by another man,Of course she is more than likely going to lie. If a woman becomes pregnant by someone other then her husband or boyfriend, it means she was cheating. If a person can cheat on a significant other and find any reason in his/her mind to justify it, that person will probably have no problem lying, regardless how big the lie is. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 07:37 PM
Feminist cause celebre: Marissa Alexander is called a battered woman who's unfairly charged for shooting, in this story full of glaring omissions and bullshit.I love how the author of this article is completely unsure whether this woman is being wronged because she is a woman or wronged because she is black. So we make arguments for both in separate paragraphs because it is perfectly acceptable to assume this is some sort of double discrimination case, if she were a man or white, she wouldn't have been arrested. | /r/MensRights | 24/04/12 01:55 PM
surrogate mother a couple hired decided to keep the baby, and is now suing the father for child support.Yes indeed, because when that 8 month old kid gets left at daycare, you know the other >1 yr olds have read that article and are giving her shit. | /r/MensRights | 23/04/12 11:49 PM
New fathers' depression is not narcissismYeah, long day. Death does that too. Editing. | /r/MensRights | 17/04/12 12:10 AM
New fathers' depression is not narcissismI actually experienced this. I would call my wife crying daily at work. I lost 60 lbs in a couple months and quit my job the day before Christmas Eve (my son was 6 months old at the time). I had no backup job planned. I thought I was going through a severe depression at around the same time my son was born and that the two were unrelated, because only women experience postpartum right? It happens to men too. | /r/MensRights | 16/04/12 04:56 PM
Augusta National, closed to women. Feminists try to close one of the last men's clubs in AmericaI actually would think the sit ups and running would be easier for women. | /r/MensRights | 15/04/12 02:39 PM
Who here has committed an act of physical violence towards a woman(s) and what was your reasoning?I know what you are trying to do, but the fact is if you think men who only put their hands up to defend themselves against women striking them have not ended up in jail for domestic abuse, you'd be wrong. Happens quite often where I live. | /r/MensRights | 15/04/12 04:00 AM
A feminist's response to the "Who Needs Feminism" picture. If she would have taken a freshmen level college class on building arguements, she would know it should be: All rapists should take responsibility for rape All rapists are men All men rape Therefore, all men should take responsibility for all rape. However, since # 2 and # 3 are obviously false, conclusion cannot be drawn. | /r/MensRights | 14/04/12 11:50 PM
What do you think the world as a whole would be like without women?A lot of gay sex and the quick and inevitable end of humanity. Serious questions only now please. | /r/MensRights | 14/04/12 11:43 PM
Deadbeat jailed for owing $50,000 for a child that is not his. “It’s been very hard on me, my wife, my kids. Knowing I’m in here for something I shouldn’t be in here for is very hard. Very stressful.” Mother refuses to identify real father.I may have misread this, but it seems the paternity test did not by itself drop the charges. She dropped them after the test. Otherwise, he would still owe? | /r/MensRights | 13/04/12 02:47 PM
r/MensRights is not the whole of the MRMI'm in full agreement with you on the sensitivity. | /r/MensRights | 13/04/12 11:42 AM
r/MensRights is not the whole of the MRMI see no problem badmouthing any individual woman for what she has said/done. To badmouth all women or categorize all women on any one topic works directly against what we are trying to achieve. I don't believe any of us would defend a man who committed rape actions, just fight against the stereotypes regarding men in general and rape. By doing exactly what we are trying to prevent happening to us, we become hypocrites and undermine the cause we want outsiders to start helping us realize. | /r/MensRights | 13/04/12 02:57 AM
"Angry ex-girlfriend goes ballistic, rips off man’s scrotum" Yet another isn't funny when a man get genitally mutilated article. By Taylor Bigler - The Daily CallerI'm here to be informed and make a difference, not to complain or hate on women (as the trolls want to suggest). If the roles were reversed, I'd still sign the petition. Wrong is wrong, regardless of gender. That is my view, and what got me interested in men's rights in the first place. | /r/MensRights | 12/04/12 03:28 PM
Equality? You are completely off-base, and have no idea what it is like to live as a woman. You know what it is like to live as a trans-gender, something that still holds a very negative view and is looked down upon in most societies. If you think at least half the people who see you can't notice the things about you that are still indicative of you be born a man, you are wrong. Your perception is falsely formed. | /r/MensRights | 12/04/12 03:13 PM
"Angry ex-girlfriend goes ballistic, rips off man’s scrotum" Yet another isn't funny when a man get genitally mutilated article. By Taylor Bigler - The Daily CallerSigned thank you for the link. | /r/MensRights | 12/04/12 12:34 PM
"Angry ex-girlfriend goes ballistic, rips off man’s scrotum" Yet another isn't funny when a man get genitally mutilated article. By Taylor Bigler - The Daily CallerPlease tell me this woman got fired. If not, let's all write her bosses. | /r/MensRights | 12/04/12 01:20 AM
x-post from /r/videos; I don't want to live in this world anymore.I always thought pay was overall compensation. If that's true, isn't the fact that health insurance on average is more for a woman (I've heard of no health plans offered through businesses that are more expensive for their female employees so I assume the business eats the difference) part of what causes this tiny gap that people are saying is actually there? | /r/MensRights | 11/04/12 07:03 PM
