Word, I feel you. I usually start talking to girls online. We chat, we phone, we cam etc. Then we meet, and it feels awesome. We usually have sex on the first date, and we pretty much behave like we're in a relationship. Until I've met them a couple of times, when I get cold feet and run away. To slow them down.. Maybe that's what it's about? I remember telling girls something similar, "I feel pressured, as if I have to do something I'm not ready for". I'm also thinking it might be about the who…

Why is this stuff starting to look more and more like GQ?

I feel that I rarely actually want to listen though. Perhaps it has to do with lack of confidence, but I guess I might feel challenged and often inclined to argue about it rather than consider it. I feel like I've been manipulated in the past and maybe that's a reason for having a hard time listening to other people. I have a hard time telling the situations apart when a change is going to benefit me and a change is going to benefit them.

The problem for me is that sometimes I realize from others' feedback that I have unhealthy learned habits that aren't socially productive. The deal with correcting people is one of them. People don't really want to be corrected and feel challenged by it, whereas I feel that I'm growing as a person if an erroneous fact is erased and replaced by an accurate one. I'm not really sure anymore if I actually did it to help others out or to be a smartass, but doing it made me feel good somehow. That's w…

Thank you, I think I needed that first thought. Sometimes I have a hard time deciding if people are telling me to change due to my problems or their problems. An example is another friend who isn't very outspoken, who told another friend that I constantly interrupt him. Actually, I had noticed he was often being interrupted and actually tried to give him room and wait for him to speak. Somehow it was seen as the complete opposite. What I figure is that he's often interrupted due to lack of socia…

"Stop chasing women. Chase your dreams, and women will follow". 2 birds in one stone! I love that quote, and I've noticed it to be very true back when I was passionate about my hobbies.

This reminds me of some things I think I heard from Wayne Elise. "Let me tell you what. You buy me a drink you think I like, and I buy you one I think you like." She gets you a drink, you buy her a glass of milk. This one isn't really for a girl asking, but... You approach a girl at a bar, ask her what her favorite drink is as you fumble with your wallet. She names the drink, you order it, she waits impatiently, and then you down it in one go and say "Yeah, it was pretty good!" These aren't real…

Good choice there. I once started flirting with two different girls at a party and it turns out the girls are friends since like ten years back. I think it's a scarcity complex sort of thing, and it didn't really work out well in the end.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
