Don't think you're acting wrong. The only wrong answers in conversation are the things that make your company less enjoyable. Start conversation. make jokes when you think of good ones and don't struggle to be someone you're not. Come off as the person you are and the girls that are interested in you are the ones you go for. You're attractive, so the girls you attract will probably be attractive too.
