| 2 | NFL guy to sell cereal. Proceeds go to help domestic violence victims, well only women and children.I get what you're saying, DV isn't and shouldn't ever be a gendered issue. I think you're misinterpreting my pov. Funding and awareness raising should absolutely be going to all victims of DV. However this charity happens to focus on a particular group, just as many other charities do; and whilst I wish more funding and awareness raising would be allocated to male victims, any victim of DV who receives support, whether it be financial, legal or awareness is a worthy cause in my eyes. | /r/MensRights | 25/05/21 06:12 AM |

| 1 | Australian media pushing unproven claims on rates of sex assault and false allegations of sex assaultMate, the document the 5% link refers to takes gets its data from the Australian bureau of statistics. Best go back and check your claim here's the link if you're struggling | /r/MensRights | 01/04/21 11:36 AM |
| 1 | Australian media pushing unproven claims on rates of sex assault and false allegations of sex assaultBetter check yourself bud, there's one article referring to the us and it's talking about the Salem witch trials | /r/MensRights | 01/04/21 07:49 AM |
| 2 | Australian media pushing unproven claims on rates of sex assault and false allegations of sex assaultAU might use the same definition but that doesn't take into account culture differences between AU and US I had a quick skim through the ABC article and it's sources some very relevant and detailed studies. The reality is you can't use stats from one country to disprove stats from another country | /r/MensRights | 01/04/21 03:31 AM |
| 1 | Women who falsely accuse men of rape should be put on the sex offender registry. Thanks for actually discussing this issue like adults, I'm honestly over this thread but out of respect for you being a general legend I'll respond to your points 😘 I can certainly see what you mean, however again to me, rape still has certain effects that other physical violence MAY not have. There is definitely an aspect of trauma and depression to all violent crime, however it's the shame and embarrassment aspect that I believe is the primary issue for people not coming forward in rape cases.… | /r/MensRights | 19/10/19 04:51 AM |

| 1 | Women who falsely accuse men of rape should be put on the sex offender registry.I just wanna say out of the gate that I would like to keep this as respectful as possible, so we can actually come to a conclusion here. Anyway I'm just gonna break down your comment into a few arguments and discuss as best as I can 🙂 Of course trauma and depression PEOPLE experience in prison should be factored into the punishment for the false accusations and of course in a perfect world those falsely accused people would be in prison in the first place (men are not the only perpetrators of ra… | /r/MensRights | 18/10/19 03:02 PM |
| -1 | Women who falsely accuse men of rape should be put on the sex offender registry.AHAHAHAAHAHAHAH riighto mate, have you ever heard the phrase 'the pot calling the kettle black' ? If you haven't that makes everything sooo so clear Yep yep, I'm gonna just keep on being ignorant 😂😂 Better check your dictionary Sonny Jim bc your comment is the definition of ignorance. Definition of ignorance : the state or fact of being ignorant : lack of knowledge, education, or awareness There we are... | 0 | Women who falsely accuse men of rape should be put on the sex offender registry.Oh gee I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that petty revenge plots were a basic human right that men weren't receiving due to societal oppression. 🙄 And honestly mate, don't turn this into a pissing contest about who cares about men's rights more, that's childish and ridiculous. True I may not be the most educated when it comes to the legal system, I studied legal studies so definitely not particularly in depth, how about you tell me what errors I made and we could make something constructive of this con… | /r/MensRights | 18/10/19 01:48 PM |
| 0 | Women who falsely accuse men of rape should be put on the sex offender registry.Think about the potential damage to our justice system and even our society if no one wants to prosecute. I agree there needs to be protection against false accusations with malice intent, however this is NOT the answer. How about you stop thinking specifically of men (yourself), and start thinking about what's best for everyone. I can certainly imagine you'd think differently if the roles were reversed and you couldn't come up with adequate evidence for someone raping you, it's either risk your… | /r/MensRights | 18/10/19 01:33 PM |
| -1 | Women who falsely accuse men of rape should be put on the sex offender registry. In an ideal world yes... However in reality rape victims are often overridden with trauma and depression. They usually aren't focussing on the court case ahead of them, that is if it even makes it to court. These people need time to overcome the intense emotions that a crime such as this creates, and thus they unintentionally delay the collection of evidence. yeah they SHOULD start collecting evidence as soon as possible. But the environment of a court room forces victims to essentially relive t… | /r/MensRights | 18/10/19 01:23 PM |
| -4 | Women who falsely accuse men of rape should be put on the sex offender registry.True, this would discourage false accusations, buuut on the other hand this would also be greatly discouraging real accusations where the accused SHOULD be convicted, especially when you're dealing with rape, it can be REALLY hard to prosecute effectively, especially if some time has passed between the time of the crime and the time it was reported/evidence was gathered. Honestly I think anyone who actually thinks this is a good idea needs to take a step back and think about what this ACTUALLY d… | /r/MensRights | 18/10/19 01:01 PM |
