My dad wasn't around much when we were kids didn't want us uprooted every time he was stationed somewhere. We'd see him roughly 3 months a year. Fathers day when he wasn't home was usually spent with the uncles that helped raise us and listening to my dads tapes of the shrimp and such in the ocean from the sonar.

My question is why is Australia's prostate cancer treatment so bad? How or why are they deviating from tried and true things that are being done in the US and other countries? Or is it just the cost of the treatments that people won't pay? From an American viewpoint we have prostate cancer 5YSR at pretty damn stellar levels when put next to breast cancer 5YSR.

But it's not true. 2015: Prostate Cancer Deaths: 27,540 Breast Cancer Deaths: 40,290. Breast cancer survival rate on median 89.4% where as prostate cancer has a 98.9% survival rate. Breast cancer is a hell of a lot more aggressive than most prostate cancers. While I'm all for advocating for men to check themselves and have their prostate health looked into outright lying about shit doesn't solve anything.
