Be direct 1st to set new unspoken but unmistakable boundaries w/ both of y'all's desires. Then allow him to take the lead on occasion in a reciprocal kind of way of both pursuing each other. Then if you want him to Inisiate more, reward his pursuits &, he will. The short of it: being direct in the beginning doesn't mean you will always have to be direct going forward. :)

Like all others: either agree & exaggerate, be indifferent, or call her out briefly & unemotionally then followup with a return to rapport after. If it's repeated then I'd consider "jones-effecting"her with an 'everyone knows' line mentioning that her community thinks lowly of that behavior.

Its quite sad, but the brutal truth is: the workplace is the closest many people have to a genuine community irl. Used to be extremely normal to find a spouse at the workplace for gen X. When PC culture hit, it tried to kill that. It mostly has. Lesson is: pursue what you want while you are able.

I read your comments about further details! I'm sorry this is all the case. I wanted to mention that for lots of men many times they need to hear multiple other people who meet a certain level of expertise power in the field parrot your view in order for him to consider it being ai or not. Not saying it's right or wrong, or that you or are right or wrong. Just giving 1 potential solve that works more times than it doesn't. How would you arrange such a thing & still come off as respectful? That's…

I had no idea you went through something like this! My heart goes out to you & your kids, stranger. Are you referring to the past? Or the present? As in: are you contemplating leaving now or are you reffering to a decision you made in the past? For context: my comments ao far were in a vacuum, but everyone circumstances are different & people are individuals. If this was a past descision i would tell you this: Sounds like your goal was doing what you felt was the best for the kids in an environm…

As I've said, I've seen women in my life heal from physically & mentally abusive fathers in my life. I've yet to see a friend (male or female) heal from an absent father. It might be an unpopular take, but I'm just communicating my peers experiences. I think an absent father, physically abusive fathers, & emotionally abusive father all are terrible people, I think the worst of physically abusive fathers, I think very badly of mentally/emotionally abusive fathers, & very poorly on absent fathers.…

Through the shared experiences of my current & past friends, employees, & family members: (though is all anecdotal) I'd confidently say not having your father around is slightly worse than having an abusive father. For solely this reason: I've seen women in my life heal from an abusive father, but I've yet to see one heal from not having their father around. & btw the story is the same with men in my life who didn't have their father around vs having an abusive father. Note: I'm referring to psy…

Then there's also the matter of hyper-defining love: -eros, pragma, philia, ludus, mania, etc & then there's the perspective thing: A woman can be in love with her man, yet her man might not get any signals of being loved by the same woman (or vice versa ofc)

To put simply: yes extremists, not feminists as a definition. Im referring to the 3rd & 4th wavers (the anti-men & men-hater ideologues). Book definition of just a normal feminist is something like being egalitarian: men & women overwhelmingly are egalitarian In the west. But the culture & ideology of 3rd & 4th wave feminists are an entirely different breed. I could give more details or specifics if req'd. To claim feminism with the current cultural impacts & world-view many are sharing... isn't…

Men receive love through respect & honor. Women receive love by being cherished, protected, & led. Men don't like like women, women don't love like men. Alot of men wish to have both, they're expecting the improbable. Alot of western men don't receive respect or honor from women they've dated. Some are bc frankly they haven't earned it. However: others have more than earned it, but fail to meet women that respect the respectable & honor the honorable in the west due to feminism indoctrination. R…

Guys don't need much, but we certainly have a very deep appreciation for: cooked meals, consistency of respect through actions, totality, & what you tell people outside the relationship about the guy mainly, being cheered on or encouraged, vocalized appreciation for sacrifices we make, & being able to have peace of mind. It's the consistent things, the daily small things that matter to us so much. Honestly we men care alot less about gifts than 99% of women. So just take that as you will I suppo…
