This is so true. But my question now is what is a spouse supposed to be then? Just a sexual partner and co parent?

I guess those guys were only your friends by default. Who initiated the friendships? The women? Or the men? That will tell you what you need to know. If the women initiated the friendships the men were just tagging along

I always wonder if the truth ever comes out. Ppl believe the smear so much. It’s like juicy gossip to them.

This is so accurate. Emphasize 20 months removed though. It takes time to build a new friend group but doable. It also depends on where you live. Obviously bigger cities are easier but if you’re in the middle of no where consider moving if the custody terms allows. Also I’m sorry this has happened to you. You are not only dealing with a divorce but what seems to be betrayal from the people you called friends. I’ve been there. It’s taught me to hold on very lightly to people. I enjoy my time with…

Because human beings are complex and nuanced. No set of rigid rules applies to every single woman you will meet.

All that masculine frame stuff is a waste if that’s not who you really are deep down. It’s not sustainable and the moment you slip, a woman will feel like she’s in control. Best bet is to find a kind hearted person.

Do you think those traits were always there? And love blinded you ?

Read what I wrote slowly. No where did I say it’s ok for women to go younger. That’s what your pea brain interpreted. Again, younger women don’t like divorced men. Keep lying to yourself. They may prefer older men, but not divorced.

Yup most people will tell you to find someone. Bad idea
/r/Divorce_Men27/05/25 02:24 AM

It doesn’t matter if you meant one year younger. If your expectation is that because of the difference in age they wont expect more that’s exploitative and you got some more work to do buddy
/r/Divorce_Men27/05/25 12:51 AM

Fuck off? Did I strike a nerve? It’s manipulative to go after someone younger because they have fewer expectations—just to avoid emotional accountability.” That’s not a hypocritical reversal. That’s a callout of exploitative behavior, not a blanket statement about age. I’m pointing out a pattern where someone uses a power imbalance (youth vs. age, naivety vs. experience) to maintain control in relationships. And it’s a fact. Younger women don’t prefer older divorced men. Let that sink in.

I’m truly sorry you’re going through this. The pain of a separation can feel overwhelming, and it’s completely valid to feel lost, betrayed, and heartbroken right now. Divorce is not just the end of a relationship; it’s the end of shared dreams and a life you envisioned together. It’s natural to grieve this loss deeply. Feeling like you’re drowning in sadness, especially when you have responsibilities like work, exams, and caring for your children, can be incredibly daunting. It’s okay to feel l…

so the solution is to go find someone younger who is naïve and expects very little of you…then proceed to fuck her over also until she’s considered “old”. LOL why would a younger person want you and all your baggage

Look that despair and loneliness right in the face and get acquainted with it! Neither will kill you if you go through this period with them. They are here to evolve and grow you. Everyone here will tell you to find someone else. This is the worst time to attempt to date. Now is the time to use that pain to get to know yourself. The only way from rock bottom is up. Write down what your ideal life from this point on would look like and wake up everyday committed to building that beautiful life. E…

3

No I know what I’m talking about. Anxiously attached people.
/r/ExRedPill07/12/24 03:18 AM
2

Yes some people who are anxiously attached subconsciously create drama to feel proximity. Fighting is better than nothing. It’s not even about intimacy. It’s about a lack of intimacy and them craving proximity Being in relationship with them would be challenging unless they became aware of this tendency, sought help to heal it and their partner created a safe intimate environment so they don’t feel deprived. But usually the just need help psychologically to heal those wounds.
/r/ExRedPill06/12/24 02:22 PM
3

You are assuming and implying that only women exhibit this trait of creating drama when things are seemingly good. That sounds very redpill or you’ve had personal experiences of it and therefor generalize. The reality is that it’s a psychological defense that some human beings use to avoid intimacy. People with anxious attachment do this all the time. They create issues in relationships to seek proximity. Avoidants do it as well. Once people internalize the message that they are not good enough,…

Human relationships are inherently flawed and will have conflict. What sets the 10% apart is they have likely learned ways to resolve conflict and build a secure functioning relationship. They are also probably securely attached. A huge majority of people are insecurely attached and come from a background of trauma which bleeds into interpersonal relationships. Also it’s possible that the 10% you know that shows “no drama” is highly conflict avoidant and not really dealing with their issues. It …

Can you separate his views from him as a person? How’s your relationship with him outside of his beliefs? Or does it bleed into how he treats you/others

Both things can be true at the same time.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/24 05:30 PM

I agree. It’s great for men who don’t want relationships. But really toxic for men once they get into relationships. You can’t unlearn those things and you’ll constantly be hyper vigilant towards your partner
/r/ExRedPill15/09/24 05:03 PM
3

It’s advisable to vet your potential partner. I’ve never done a background check but wouldn’t judge anyone who did. Part of my vetting was checking out what he watched/followed on social media.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/24 05:02 PM

This is true. I think redpill does men a huge disservice though. Teaches them how to get the woman but what happens after that? My last guy was very redpill and he was completely lost as far as maintaining the relationship and healthy communication
/r/ExRedPill15/09/24 04:02 PM

Right. But they always tell on themselves. The last guy I dated never mentioned it but I went searching through the accounts he followed and stumbled on rollo and read his book in one day. Now I’m informed lol

It’s very heartbreaking. He’s complained that his son is very underweight because of his diet at home. But in the same breath admit that he’s withholding funds? Maybe he’s hungry because his mother doesn’t have enough $$$

That’s what I’m thinking. Why wouldn’t you want your child to get more if you got a pay raise?
/r/ExRedPill15/09/24 01:37 AM

I’m happy your dad did the right thing and I understand how this can bring up some things for you. Can a woman file for child support even if custody is shared? This guy has his kids every other weekend I think but still complains about the women taking him to court. How?

lol good points. I think I’m just trying to understand and point out red pill. I’m not dating this man
/r/ExRedPill14/09/24 11:28 PM
1

Right. It’s a paycheck to most of them and when you pull the curtains back none of them practice what they preach. They’re just pandering to men who have been hurt by society/women. When what they really should be teaching them is character/career development and emotional intelligence. They rope them in with all the personal development then hook them with the toxic misogyny.
/r/ExRedPill14/09/24 06:13 PM

Also realizing your worth as a human being helps. Not even as a woman. As a spiritual being. All these labels don’t matter. Age gender etc.
/r/ExRedPill14/09/24 02:36 PM
3

I was once negatively affected by all of it. Then I took a step back and looked at all the men spewing this rhetoric. Their romantic lives were trash. None happily married. One by one all of them are being exposed and turning their backs on the very rhetoric that they swore by. If you can separate yourself it all and realize that it’s all just for entertainment (click bait) or coming from men who are projecting major insecurities you’ll have peace. I’ve never met a man who subscribed to red pill…

Yes there is lots of data about it. I wish men would fact check these red pillers. It’s a well known fact that men AND women who had multiple non marital partners have less marital satisfaction. Also known that men who were promiscuous prior to marriage typically will continue that behavior. You don’t just turn it off like a light switch. You did the right thing.
/r/ExRedPill10/05/24 09:27 PM

I don’t remember saying that women who are freaks are sluts. I said red pill men want freaks/sluts in bed but also want virtuous virgins. Virtuous virgins tend not to be freaks. They have little experience
/r/ExRedPill10/05/24 08:38 PM

I know many men with a high body count who can’t find pleasure with just one woman and constantly think about women from their past. This notion that this applies to women only is not only wrong but dangerous. Both genders should strive to keep their sexual partners at a minimum.
/r/ExRedPill10/05/24 08:36 PM
4

I’m also a woman and do not find men with many past partners attractive. The majority of my female friends also share this sentiment. Share where you are getting your stats and data from.
/r/ExRedPill10/05/24 08:35 PM

Could you send me that study about women being. Less likely to pair bond? I’m a scientist and need to see the data. Because from What I’ve read it applies to both genders. So please share the data.

Well that’s my reality. Men that I’ve gone after and initiated with I typically felt more masculine. The dynamic was off. With men that I allowed to lead and initiate I was more receptive and softer and it faired well.

As a woman..how would I know that I even want a man? Just by looking at him? So if he’s 6 foot an above I should start proving myself? It’s like we are trying to go against our natural wiring. Men pick mates initially from their external appearance. Women are not wired like that. We pick mates based on their fit and ability to provide/protect. Those traits are not obvious. And most men don’t lead with that. So how is a woman supposed to start proving her self from the beginning?
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 04:54 PM

whats simp shit? I feel like you have the same mentality as these red pill guys lol. they say the same stuff. this is why dating is so hard. everyone is so scared to look stupid. I do agree that as a woman you're not wired to do that in the beginning.
/r/ExRedPill02/05/24 08:20 PM
-4

This is exactly how the men feel. I’m assuming you’re a woman? So if everyone has this disposition who actually gets the relationship started? lol someone has to do a little more pursuing in the beginning
/r/ExRedPill02/05/24 08:11 PM

sounds about right. they all talk crap about single moms but majority of them were raised by single moms and are on a mission to make every woman they engage with a single mom. the irony is real. these people are deeply hurt and projecting their pain.

Yea it’s literally molding through manipulation and coercion. Mine read a ton of Robert Greene books on the art of manipulation and war tactics. They have so little control of their external environment that anyone who they catch in their web has to pledge complete allegiance or you’re seen as the enemy. No thanks.
/r/ExRedPill09/08/23 11:55 PM

It’s because they are manipulative themselves so on high alert for it. Like when a man cheats but accuses his woman of cheating. Imagine living life like this! They’re miserable. Learning about redpill tactics gave me so much closure. SearchAMS punish bad behavior” on YouTube and it’ll all make sense
/r/ExRedPill09/08/23 08:41 PM

Yes yes yes. Redpill teaches them to punish bad behavior. Mine was so vindictive I would get punishments that were so out of proportion to the supposed crime committed. And they were usually miscommunication, or simple innocent absent minded acts. Nothing was ever intentional or malicious on my end so the punishment felt very harsh. They’re so hyper vigilant about disrespect and have such fragile egos that they must always be on guard. Imagine a life with this person! Your partner will always st…

One day AMS will be married and will turn away from all that stuff. He’s slowly starting to show signs of it. I’ve watched all his videos and even the ones for paid members. He’s more honest in the ones you have to pay for where the public ones are more for clicks and views. I have a feeling he doesn’t really live the life he talks about anymore but it’s his money maker. You can learn empathy and you can learn how to love and improve interpersonal skills. The problem with our society is that we spend so many years learning useless topics in school when we should be learning these skills. Who cares? Especially when the average male body count is in the double/triple digits. As long as she doesn’t have any STDs who cares

Yea I dated one. He was so hyper-vigilant to any offense or slight. Would punish for the smallest things. Very obvious he had been hurt and was afraid of being hurt again or coming off as “soft”. Sad state to be in because your partner will always step on your toes.

It’s like we all dated the same person. Personally I think redpill breeds narcissists. It encourages them to focus solely on themselves. So if someone was already leaning towards it…forget about it lol

Success in the redpill world is defined as expensive cars, lots of money, top notch physique which will ultimately grant you access to many beautiful women. What they fail to realize is that the women they attract once they attain all this aren’t really the best quality and are the most hypergamous. Which is the very trait about female nature they complain about. The hypocrisy is so glaring it’s comical.
/r/ExRedPill25/07/23 12:41 AM

That’s so sad. It’s such a superficial level of success in my opinion And I think you’re right. My ex seemed to be deeply lonely but didn’t realize thereby consuming and applying redpill tactics it further perpetuated the lonliness

And what I wish he knew was that in order for someone to love they have to know what they are loving. I can’t love what i don’t know. So vulnerability is a requirement for the true connection he claims he seeks. After dating him for a year I feel like I never knew him and can easily walk away. Had I known how he truly felt about me I would have fallen deeper in love. The lack of vulnerability keeps things surface level. So he’s contradicting himself without knowing it. But claims his last relati…

His best friend would describe a madly in love boy who would call him and panic when things went wrong with us. Even sent screen shots of my ex panicking asking him what to do.
