His girlfriend met his son at 17 and they had sex? She is a predator. Aside from this, it seems he tried replacing his wife with another 22 year old and that is weird to me. Maybe "coincidence" but I cant help but get predator vibes from him. He definitely needs therapy.

I was checking out "enemy to lover's" titles and there was one that had an interesting description. I start reading and a chapter in, he rapes her. Full on, rapes her. I could not keep going. And this man is supposedly the ML. Yes it was written by a man.

There was a reddit post on r/askreddit and the question was "what is something that people say that makes you feel ugly?" and the top one was "Where do you get your confidence from?" because it insinuates there are no obvious reasons for you to be confident. I noticed there is not a lot of emphasis on men being confident and instead, is emphasized towards women. We have to be confident and put in so much effort to "look" confident, where men are just confident. Because men are expected to be see…

Probably. I saw people genuinely upset that Cynthia Brown got out of prison. I wonder if she was white, would she have not been trialed as an adult for being sex trafficked and how many people would have changed their tune about her being let out.

This does not talk about soulmates etc but we need to get rid of this trope. It puts women in this position of rationale that everything will be okay or work out just because he/she is "the one". If they were your soulmate or if they were "the one" they would not be treating you like trash. He is manipulating her and gas lighting her successfully at that. I hope people commented some sense and self worth into her.

"who hurt you?" well clearly men. Actually, a lot of men. At least a third of the men I have encountered in my life have attempted inappropriate relations with me ranging from gross comments on my boobs or butt, to straight up assault. I have been harassed by more men than I have been helped by. For the ones who helped great! But even they ended up having ulterior motives.

Its probably a marketing team actually. A local church in my area hired a local marketing company for their Instagram, Facebook and even live streams of services but they also tag them and include the marketing team's logo. Really its just unprofessional. I imagine who ever was running it forgot what account they were logged into. Of course, you still make a good point. I see it a lot on social platforms. There are a lot of things to unpack but the biggest one that I see no one in the original post has noticed is, If we as women were to respond like this to "compliments", our lives could be in danger at a much higher rate than than any of these men. Perhaps this is why men are under the impression that we like it? Because we have to respond a certain way just to survive the interaction. It is a catch 22 and a sad one at that.

At least, no where near the amount. I have a male gay friend who was assaulted by a girl insisting he was only gay because he did not have sex with her yet. Now the amount of times I have heard of lesbian friends being targeted by men saying they could "straighten them out" is sick. I am bi and would often say "sorry I dont date men" and well over half would either say I was lying or they could "fix that" as if there was something to fix.

I can change my own oil in about 15 minutes and only need to do it maybe once every 6 months to a year. I would rather spend my 15 minutes every six months changing my own oil if it saved me an hour a day cooking for a scrote. I have also changed my own brakes, headlights, tires. I used to give compliments to strangers at the mall a lot when I worked there. When I would give girls compliments, they would smile and shine the way out the door or they would compliment me back in a friendly and casual way. Men though? They would stop, ask for my number. Ask if I had a boyfriend. One was bold enough to ask if I wanted to go to the bathroom with him. One man even stayed after hours and followed me to my car and proceeded to beg for a kiss before I go. What is sad, is the student probably has no ill intentions. Just simply checking on his teacher. His older peers though will see this and tell him its game or how you court someone. I wonder if this is why men think when women do things like this such as just being nice, it means we like them or hit on them. Because they are trained from a young age that kindness and caring MUST mean sex.

I have dated a guy shorter than me and was made fun of. I am only 5'7, but I was 5'7 in middle school and early high school so a lot of guys in my area were shorter than me. He was sweet but could not handle people (specially other boys) calling me "the man of the relationship" just because of my height. These same boys now traverse Facebook complaining women only want men taller than them. They shoot themselves in the foot then claim women were holding the gun.

Its funny I found this sub because someone claimed this. I lurked for like an hour and found no hate towards anybody. I only found info that benefitted women. Didn't even see hate for actual good men either. I found a community that calls out men AND women on their bs.

I have been here for a few months and lurked longer. I have never seen any speak on LGTBQ other than the deserving of rights. As a member of LGBTQ, Id like to think I would at least notice if there was any terf activity. I guess because we discuss traditional roles and having babies perhaps? But even then, we talk against traditional roles and preach that women are more than reproductive organs. This is actually an argument used to counter transphobia so its ironic if this is the reason.

Isn't FDS feminism? I cannot grasp why this sub gets hate. Are feminist subs saying "your feminism doesn't follow my exact feminism views begone" and just banning people? You didn't even say anything radfem or following the lines of. Also, she gains no benefit. The gift is him just gaslighting her into thinking his deceiving behavior is okay. I hope someone mentions for her to get out and I hope she takes that advice. He does not care about her. And if he did, she would be an exception that would change the instant he doesn't care anymore. Me and my bf have some political views that differ for sure, but as far as human rights go? I would absolutely not. My bf likes his guns too, but, he likes human rights more and that's the important part her husband is missing, and will eventually act on.

Also to lurking scrotes that also keep messaging me Stay at home moms do get to see their child grow of course. There are amazing things that come with staying at home. It really is a joy! I loved staying at home with our daughter and watching her grow. The stress though of cleaning up after her, me and another adult. Plus cleaning, taking care of our two dogs. To get my point across to my bf which opened his eyes, I said we would split everything, bills and time etc. Now he would pay me for watching our daughter on his time (so 12 hrs a day) at $10, and that would go towards covering my half and what is left, he would pay me. Did someone compare a picme to that? Truthfully, I will never a call a woman that! I do agree, you can be a pick me and a victim. I just avoid labeling pick me involving situations where a woman is physically or mentality hurt as that leans towards victim blaming. I was a former pick me absolutely and I know that me being a pick me opened me up to abuse. But that does not mean I deserved it nor my pick behavior warranted abuse. I was a stay at home mom and can attest. I get asked ALL the time why my bf makes double what I make. Why? Because I had a late start in my career. That's not love. He is using her to live this fake life is all. If she did not have the house, he would probably have been using another woman. And the part about him having this snapchat account for years??

I think the line gets blurred for some when differentiating between a pick-me and victim. Pick-me is a woman who brings down other woman for the sake of a man. A victim is a woman whos health and mental well-being is put at stake, for the sake of a man. I do not see too much of this issue though and I do see other members holding the women in particular accountable. They just need to be reminded that FDS is about the benefit of women.

My bf stopped watching porn a little while ago. Mild ED once and a strange fantasy made him realize what it was doing and he didn't like it. BTW he made the decision on his own. I have not brought my FDS beliefs on porn yet. He made that decision because he could recognize what was going on. Since then, sex is seriously the best ever. Currently work for a stem company as an hr assistant. I was nervous because everyone around me had fancy degrees with fancy pay and my position is a glorified secretary. And of course being stem, 99% of them are men. A few months in and I realized there was no reason to be intimidated in the slightest. I caught onto that. Rather than doing things because they make his wife feel good, he does them because it makes him feel good to get praised for it. How dare we expect reciprocation of effort in a relationship. How we dare we put emphasis on equal benefits in relationships. How dare we point out the patriarchy and how relationships often surround a man's wants and needs, disregarding a woman's boundaries and life.

This week has been great! Found this amazing podcast!! It discusses relationships and brings in therapists and drs to discuss. My favorite episode is the one about coercive control and how men can be abusive without being physical. Seems mildly vanilla shaming tbh Just because one does not like porn, does not mean they do not like sex. If someone is addicted to sugar, you help them regulate it. Not say "sugar negative talk is not welcome" and not address the issue that eventually has severe consequences. If someone in their community is addicted, it should be r/sex responsibility to help them seek help or at least offer resources as addiction to anything can ruin lives. This is hypocritical. I think about divorce. The couple has to have two different addresses before being able to file for a divorce which is why many married women have a hard time leaving their trashy husbands especially if they are financially dependent on them. They aren't even shamed though. They shame themselves. "be stronger than women" essentially. Its something they have done to themselves when creating the patriarchy. We really need to be looking at the judges who think this is okay. This also plays into systematic racism. Serial child predators and rapists are often white men with money. Actually, in 2018, more than 250,000 child molesters are white men, while 100,000 African American. While white and black drug dealers are actually around the same, black drug dealers are arrested and incarcerated, at a rate of 6.5 times more than white drug dealers.

I would have reported the comment if it was out of line. FDS can be harsh so its not a place you would need to go to unless you really want to I wou…

In STEM, the idea is you have to be smart or have had to go through schooling and thus a threat. They feel intimidated and are scared to let us speak. There is a guy at my office who I think about sucker punching at least once a week because of this. What annoyed me the most in this vid is they said nothing of substance when they interrupted her. One guy literally said "UMMMMMM so YEAH" like why did you interrupt her for that?

No one ever stuck up for her and she is now with another scrote is possibly abusive as well. The 2nd, most recent is the one I would defend. I think having someone defend her has resulted in her doing a bit better. She definitely has trauma but not to the point of the first. He is the textbook NVM. I cant browse fb for more than 10 minute because of this. I am on there for family but I also have a lot of high school people on there. I keep them on there to keep up with local businesses since a lot of my classmates have started some and I want to be supportive as possible on a local level. Otherwise, I would delete. So much this. I think we should be teaching teens how to spot manipulation and gaslighting. Life skills would be a good class. Also teach them how to spot abuse or others going through abuse including verbal or mental and then how to break out of it. I think a lot of people could have benefited from learning at an early age to avoid abuse. Including myself. I realized half way through I was being manipulated but I was stuck. No friends or family, no money and I was so mentally worn down from the…

This is why the only man my daughter is to be left alone with is her dad. Even then, I do quick scans everyday getting in the bath to make sure there are no marks on her arms, legs or back. And absolutely planning on teaching her as early as possible about consent and to come to me if anyone touches her without it. I don't trust uncles, cousins or family friends and will never trust them. Too many "I didn't see it coming" stories out there.

I know this post was not meant to address racial implications, but this is why I get mad when people call grown black women "girls" but then call other women, "woman". Its so damn demeaning. Of course, I am bothered when any grown woman is called a girl. Especially by a man. Happens quite a bit in the workforce and it drives me nuts.

I am not comfortable with a male ogbyn either. I do find myself questioning intentions but that is because I myself have not had good encounters with men. While I have a few male friends and a bf, the rest of men I have encountered (strangers, coworkers or classmates) wanted sex and would lie their way to get there (they were not successful). I joined to try to help other women a few days ago. Women deserve so much better! Banning fds members (a literal feminist sub) seems a bit hypocritical though. I would say I am moderate fem. There are some stuff I agree with libfem but there is also a lot that I see that is just not feminist and hurts women instead. Everyday I slowly stray from libfem. People seem to forget, fully consented sex work is the minority. (This is excluding women who are groomed) If they want sex work to be about women empowerment, they need to prosecute the men who buy it vs the Women who sell it. They would help the women who sell it to get to a place where they don't have to sell it. Rehabilitate them and separate them from their abusers and provide counselling. That is women empowerment. Bringing them to a place of absolute benefit, prosperity and healing. Putti…

"Being the bigger person" is not just staying silent. Being the bigger person is; not reciprocating unto them, what they did to you. If someone does you wrong, pointing out their wrong doing does not make you less of "being the bigger person" than someone who stays silent. It just makes you their teacher.

I just watched it and I found it so disturbing. It is incredibly realistic on how cults bring in new people-often women. They follow the rules of abusers to a T but under the false pretense she is being set "free" when actuality, she will be used just for breeding and falling into a patriarchal culture but its okay because she "wants" to. Traffickers typically bring in women who are in failing relationships or struck with grief. Watching a lot of cult victim stories and trafficking stories, it w…

The "If you don't want to spend $40 on 10 dates, don't go on 10 dates" is perfect. I had been thinking of how describe the issue when cheap versus average dates. "How am I suppose to find someone then" or "what if they all reject me" is probably the thought process now. If you think these things, clearly you are not a point where you can be in a relationship. Be more picky and only go on dates you want to put effort into. If there are no dates you want to put actual effort into, then don't go on…

There was a YT video where a plastic surgeon discusses lip fillers. They migrate which is how the lips look so puffy and lose shape. To fix this, you have to pay to get it dissolved, and then leave it alone for 2 weeks to a month. This is how celebs some celebs manage it with out looking overly puffy (at first). It is recommended every 6 months - a year. If it is not dissolved, the skin will stretch much more quickly. A few years of this causes permanent sagging and stretchy skin around the mout…

I am glad you were able to free yourself of your ex husband! Your post reminded of a quote my great grandma always said. "Our bodies are our temples. You should take care of them, worship them and use them to pray. You should be welcoming to those who wish to pray at the pews, but be wary of those who wish to enter the chambers. You should respect how others' temples are built for they are none the less worthy of prayer than yours. With time, your temple will age. But remember with each crack in…

It is in our DNA to literally pick the best array of features it finds for survival. On a basic primal level, this is looks. Your DNA decided your combination is the best and most beautiful option. Your genes know you are beautiful, you should too. We are complex beings who are past primal instincts (most of us anyways); respect, confidence and positivity go much further than outwards appearances.

My mom replies to these with "give me something to smile about first" and that usually shuts them up. He frowned and mumbled something under his breath while we walked away. I was like 16 so it was quite enlightening.

Have him give you a back massage, a butt massage and a thigh massage. It will relax you and get you more comfortable with your partner paying more attention to your lower area. For social anxiety, practicing conversations or topics that may come up helps. Practice out loud to yourself in the car. Practice not saying "uh" or "um" and practice using bigger words. These are habits that will give you more confidence when you speak. When in doubt, excuse yourself to the restroom. These have helped me a lot! I would really like to see the argument for how legalizing it would be beneficial. How would they regulate it? The only differentiation would be if a victim comes forward. Leaving the 4.8 million women and children sol for the few thousand consenting women doesn't make much sense. It would not put women in an equal social standing as men, financially, politically or socially. Many women who used it as a source of confidence often recounter it as a source of trauma years down. "why did you get with him" or "why didn't you leave when there were signs" Abusers are often good at manipulation. Some abusers don't come about as abusers until years later. They gas light and will make the woman seem crazy. A friend of mine who had to move states just to get away, said her husband was not abusive until their 3rd year of marriage.
