There is no fault. Let that resonate. No one is to blame. I'm autistic, too. It's not society's fault they aren't wired to help me, not my fault I am autistic. Who can fix what? Whose job is it? The world owes no person anything. Who can you change easiest: society, women, or yourself? The easiest thing is to work on you. Sure, men can move mountains. But they can much easier walk around or over them to get to where they want to go.

No strategy has guarantees. Risk abounds. I only dated guys I was friends with. It was too scary to go on dates with guys I didn't know. Friends are safe. I married one of my friends. My brother had tons of friends who were girls, and frequently hooked them up with his guy friends and coworkers. He was unusual because girls collected him because HE WAS SUCH A GOOD FRIEND. He loved being collected by various girls. Geeky computer nerd, got picked on in school, all his friends were in marching ban…

Woman are on guard if they don't know you. I know the red pill guys on here poopoo on the "friend zone", but that is where you will build trust with her. And, she knows other girls. Girls love playing matchmaker. Think about this, too. Girls can easily get guys. But guy friends are harder to come by, she doesn't friend every guy. If she is friend zoning you, it's because she values you. You don't shit where you eat, right? She values your mind. So take the friendship and see where it goes. Play …

While our grandpa's were teaching our male cousins to open the door for ladies, our grandma's were telling us to have careers. My grandma born in 1927 flat out told me NOT to marry someone like my grandfather. She was depressed and drank hard because of him, and could never leave him because with what money or career? He never helped out, left her to manage 5 kids by herself. Sewing all their clothes, cooking all the meals. All the laundry, all putting them to bed, diaper changes, everything. He…

Aspie woman here. Yeah, its easier for women because men are "hunters", seeking out what they want. I actually had to look to movies to develop the social skills to figure out how to evade men in college. Women set a lot in store with romance movies. I would recommend watching more of them and studying what type of behaviors women find attractive. Ignore the rich, handsome, tall, etc. What gestures do the men make. How do they make a woman feel comfortable? What subtle clues show he cares and ca…

When you are choosing an item and have 3 choices, it's easier to choose than when you have 20. With dating apps, you can't gauge quality, just like shopping online. Sometimes, it breaks straight out of the box, sometimes in days, or even a year or two. If you are looking for lifetime usage, this can be really frustrating. Eventually, you waste a ton of money and decide to find a different solution or give up. This is what it's like for women to date. Loads of choice doesn't mean she's better off…

I'm on this sub for my teens. And what you talk about here is what they experience, and what I see in my house. My son used to talk to his girlfriends like they were his friends, very disrespectful. Like to poke fun at the things they can't do as well because of their size, lack of strength, etc. Told them they we dumb, or stupid. They would dump him, he would get super angry moody. It was never his fault, he was just being funny. Found out he was watching porn, mean aggressive porn. We talked t…

You mention dead bedding. What led to dead bedding? You don't deadbed someone you are emotionally connected to. I'm an Aspie woman. I needed friends as a kid. I did not have them, because I lacked social skills. It's nice when someone would befriend me out of pity, but lacking social skills I would latch on hard and drive them away. You could argue that I had a need, you would be right. It was my job to fix my problems. Not the kids around me. They needed to have time for their other friends. Th…

Trust is earned. Lust is just hormones. I can't believe there was 8 paragraphs of this in the original post. You can make something sound as technical as you can write it, but it doesn't make it sound science. Work on building trust with women. Don't be looking for someone who instantly lusts for you. You WILL come off as a complete creep.

This is why friendships with the opposite sex are so important. As a teen in the 90s, we had fun in the AOL chat rooms and PMs flirting with people we didn't know, and occasionally meeting them IRL. But those relationships rarely worked out. You dated in your friend group. Or your friends girlfriends friend, etc. Because those people really knew who you were, and if you didn't know your friends friend, they knew the person, so this was lots of vetting going on. No, they weren't attracted to you …

43 years old here, so my dating was ages ago. I got hit on every day in college, it was exhausting. And I always had a boyfriend, so I was constantly turning men down. I was quite attractive, too, despite being freckled and tiny. I had huge breast's, and guys would cat call me as a walked by, but I had to hold my head up and shoot scornful looks their way when I just wanted to cry. I would guess I was an 8 or 9. I dont care how good looking someone was, if they came up to hit on me directly with…

My vagina is not for sale, and never has been. It's not a resource, nor is sex with me a service I am providing for something else. Less a resource, and more like a gift given out of love, and received from my partner in return. Women who are listening to dialogue breaking relationships down to goods and services are taking notes on how to come out on top and creating the femisphere. Where they are abandoning feminism and using sex exactly as you are describing. The more they are used, the more …

Women are turned off by people who lack confidence in who they are. My friend is 6 feet and married to a man 6 inches shorter than her. He LOVES talking about his big, beautiful Amazon woman (who also makes double $$ what he does). He does not give a shit when they go out that she towers above him. If anyone comments on their height difference, he sets them straight that every man needs a woman taller than him because they are more fun to wrestle, or some other funny shit. He's hilarious. They h…

I'm short, freckled, curly brown hair, ADHD, and autism. Not a tall silky straight hair blonde with Mediterranean skin tones. I'm also wicked bright, IQ in the 99th percentile. None of this made dating easy (was more successful than every one of the men I dated, yet many still tried to control me and my finances). Disadvantages stack. I dated a verbally abusive guy at 20 years old who was trying to knock me up to "keep me" by poking holes in condoms. I also was engaged to a Mormon guy who allowe…

Yes, this is true. And the best way to fix this is to listen to the gender you are attracted to telling you what attracts them, and what turns them off. So much of this forum is exactly this, but then additional responses by the inquirer saying, "No, I'm not the problem, actually, the gender I'm attracted to is the problem." And then getting lots of support in their self pity (so self help is pushed to the side). And loneliness reigns...

Because women don't need to be told. Is there a problem with mid aged women saying they don't get enough sex, and they are angry about it? We got vibrators, trust us to take care of ourselves. This is a bit like my son saying, "Why aren't you telling my sister to clean her room?!" Because hers messes are 2 days worth of clothes on the floor and loose school papers, and your room smells like rotting food and stinks from all the dirty clothes for weeks that you are stashing rather than washing. Whoa. Correlation is being confused with causation. Feminism exists because of issues such as my MIL had getting a credit card in the 70s, the bank rejected her and said to bring her dad in since she didn't have a husband. It also exists because her future husband became an alcoholic and trying go from SAH mom to single mom breadwinner she found she could be paid less than a man because men needed more money to support their families as so many had wives (at home, or had jobs with lower pay for …

People aren't attracted to potatoes. We are attracted to hash browns, French fries, mashed potatoes (gravy please), au gratin, oooh, those crispy smashed potatoes with sea salt... People need to haul themselves off the coach and make something of themselves. Preferably something delicious, addictive, and highly consumable. With a side of butter.

Was quite the looker in college, but very naive (on the spectrum, I found out at 40). Wanted to date nice guys, none of the assholes who put gum in my hair when I was younger, but the kinds of guys that I was in marching band with. Would date a guy for a while, but then he would get mean, kinda rude, exasperated at me and my quirks at the same time all his friends are asking how he got such a hot girlfriend. Would wear me down, eventually I would break up with him and he would fight to stay toge…

Married because they are happy. Well, actually that depends on the marriage. Casting aside any shotgun or weekend getaway weddings done because the couple feels forced or is impulsive, relationships should be a process. So if you don't compromise and look out for the other person and do things you don't want to do at times, then the relationship won't be happy. Then after marriage this has to be maintained in the same style as while dating. I would imagine that if you were the type of person wil…

Good God, no! Haha! When a guy is otherwise so kind and interesting and seems perfect, I always felt like I was the one who was being difficult by not being ready and making him whine. Trust me, I did learn after the two mean guys to pick up other signs and just walk away before a bad relationship even happened. But so many great guys just wanted the sex way early. They always seemed very intent on the female orgasm, like it was a way to gage if I was into him. For a lot of women, that's hard to…

This! This is why I'm here, for my kids. To understand what the heck is wrong with young people and this extreme battle of the sexes. You are right, kids don't hang out! They can't carry on in person conversations. My son is a freshman in high school and spends at least 4 hours a day texting his friends, but never (and I mean like NEVER) goes and physically hangs out with them. When I was a teen in the late 90s, we went out with friends. Movies, the mall, each other's houses. We were always clum…

Uh, you ever try to tell a young man in his 20s no?! I dated 8 guys from the ages of 17 to 24, including my husband. Seven of them I slept with. Seven of them whined when I would try to say emphatically that I was not ready for sex, and six of those guys guilted me into early sex. They were mostly other wise nice people (except for two really bad eggs). Even my husband was guilty of it! The first guy I dated at 17 while we were both virgins told me repeatedly when I said no that he could just fo…

Weird. I've never cheated. Had one relationship with a verbally abusive guy who called me a whore and a slut because I talked to other guys (like my co workers, which was pretty much required to do my job at the hospital where we both worked at the time). I took it for 9 months and was like, "What the hell am I doing?" Never cheated on him, never fixed him, and he never treated me like an equal, yet he was tore up and pissed off that I broke it off. Never dated another low life. Left a bad taste…

Accumulation of wealth and longevity is creating a huge divide in the classes. Smart phones are preventing social skills which build long term relationships. Accession of wealth through real estate needs to be limited. The greatest generation came back from WWII to track homes. The boomers and Gen X also benefited from track homes, cheaply manufactured houses that resold easily and appreciated in value. It was very easy to snap up more than one property and become a landlord. Then with advanceme…

Let me expand with my 2 cents. Little girls are wired to look at faces more than boys. So we learn early on that when we are happy, sweet, and nice, we can make other faces light up. We can actually change someone's expression. Next time you hold a baby girl, watch this happen. She will generally try to get an emotion from you (generally happiness). You can call that manipulation, if you like. But trust me, growing up most females feel it like a duty to make everything around them pleasant. Swee…

If you are always approaching attractive women, know that a lot of other guys are, too. When I was in college, I got hit on multiple times a day. It was nerve wracking when a guy opened a door for me, because 1/3 of the time he would rush through hitting on me during that short period of time, throwing everything he had into it. In a span of 7 seconds I would hear how he loved my hair, I had a gorgeous body, and he had seen me a few times and always looked for me when walking to class. That's a …

Ideas pace themselves ahead of reality. I'm 42, so my skin is aging. The part of me that learned in the 80s that one of the most important ways for a woman to be financially secure is to be pretty gets terrified. That part is pretty well buried, as those were lessons that I picked up from watching my mom's generation (girl power movies back then were Nine to Five and at most you worked part time when kids were at school). It is logical to want them at the same level. Love happens best illogically, though. I'm 42. When I was dating there were no dating apps so you had to actually talk to someone to find out much about them. So attraction would happen first, before any information changed hands. Chemistry is more important than finance. Kid I used to babysit just got married (he's 30). He quit his job to wander New Zealand in a van. A girl he had just barely started to date before he left the US joined him there on…

Pregnancy is dangerous. I tried to get sterilized after having my daughter and was told I had to wait a year. This was after having HELLP syndrome with impending liver failure and blood pressure of 185 and rapidly loosing the ability to clot blood (making a CSection more and more dangerous with every minute that I didn't get one immediately). Yet I had to wait a year! It was ridiculous. Pregnancy used to be the number one killer of women. Don't confuse that there are aspects of medical necessity…

The ho phase is the female equivalent of young men realizing their strength and aggression and wanting to show it off. After years of having boys tease you as a girl, or having a much earlier curfew than your brothers, or feeling scared to walk to a parking garage on the .001% chance you may be abducted, it's fun to having some feeling of power over men. Then you get addicted to the power, the head snaps, the looks. Then you realize you are sliding further into this sexuality as power dynamic an…

In general, the OP premise in a nutshell is that women marry to secure resources, and men marry to ______ (not clear, but seems like to secure relationship because gf wants to). People marry because they love each other. If it's for any other reason, expect divorce. Not speaking for all women. But many of my friends had a certain order to their young life. Agreed. We have come full circle in society. Women once found high value in marriage and children and were lost when those roles were devalued. Women desired to move out of their traditional roles because there was no value and openly mocked in what they historically did. Raising children, cleaning house, wiping noses, making sure your family felt loved and contented, dinner on the table? That's nothing compared to working hard all day making a living, making a man's hands crack and bleed in the…

I'll be honest with you, I dated that virgin guy. He was a great boyfriend. But that is what put me on edge initially. Teaching him everything was fun. Stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason. Why would virginity be unattractive? You get to teach him only what you like, he's super eager to learn, both great benefits....and he might be a class 5 lovestruck clinger. Boom. Reason why virginity in men can be unattractive. Also, if you are a woman who is really uncomfortable telling a man what you l…

As a woman, the only reason I personally was vary of virgins was generally your first real relationship you fall headover heels for the other person, so it is that form of inexperience and not his sexual inexperience which was off putting. To think I might tumble into a very heavy relationship really fast before really getting to know the guy was unnerving, because there is a high chance you might be breaking his heart and breaking up would be really messy. Women have a painful history of being excluded from male only clubs for literally no good reason IN THE PAST (I would say this is no longer the case). Think of business organizations up to the 1970s where women membership wasn't allowed. Or it just being uncomfortable when women showed up, so they had "unofficial" get-togethers with the same people where business and pleasure were discussed. Because women weren't in the in group (the good Ole boys club) they missed out on career advancement. The…

My dad told me that every guy was an asshole and was out to get sex, so watch out. That they would get you pregnant and then lose interest. I was interested in boys, but very terrified of them. I would flirt and as soon as their interest turned into serious interest I would panic and stop talking to them, as I didn't know how to say how scared I was. When women feel belittled in their traditional roles as keeper of the family health, mother of children, supporter of everyone, then they will stop doing those roles and prove to you just how smart and capable they are. Why would would she want to be the wife you mock when she could be your career rival and earn far more of your respect busting your balls at work rather than raising your children and maintaining a home plus a career that fits with putting family first that you only mock her for?

Seek out quality women you like and intentionally friend zone yourself. When women are comfortable enough, they will see you as an awesome partner. Typically I went to clubs and bars to have a good time with my girlfriends and to get hit on and feel good, but never to find a boyfriend, and definitely never a ONS. Sometimes a group of coworkers would go out together and I would meet my guy coworkers friends and be able to safely flirt with them at the bar or club and various other social events. …

Hhhhmmmm...yeah, not true. I dated a guy when we were both 23 who was a virgin. He was socially awkward (extreme social anxiety), nervous, and thin. I did not even think about his virginity as making him less of a man. For that matter, neither his nervousness nor his thinness factored in. I think you miss an important point in female romance. It's the bad boy that the girl ends up changing. The asshole who cares for no one is suddenly infatuated with the girl and changes his personality. Being a girl can be scary, physically. I'm an Aspie, so I had a really hard time as a kiddo. Gum in my hair, spitwads, etc, were the norm in middle school. By the end of high-school I noticed that not all the popular kids were good looking, but about half were. Really good looking guys scared me, because in my experience they were mean. I was going to reply something to this effect. I had my shit together financially, had a great job, retirement accounts started at the age of 18, was buying a house when I started dating my husband at 24. Anger, frustration, anxiety, embarrassment: all emotions I see from men on a regular basis. Look at politicians showing anger and frustration in name calling and insults. Male politicians can get angry, like purple face angry, and it doesn't seem to make the "emotional". But it's the same as if they just started bawling and snivelling. So men today are struggling with college today, falling behind women because...why are women so dominate in college? Remember, don't say that men don't have 100% opportunity as women, in this day and age because I'll point to two men who recently got their PhDs and completely blow your reasoning. Nothing, absolutely nothing you can use as an argument cannot also be used for what women used to face, therefore women used to be the weaker sex and now men are. Women could go to college in the 1800s if the men in charge of them and the family assets said they could. We couldn't easily access assets, even if we were in a state where we rightfully owned them. Using this as evidence that men and women have had equal rights for a long time is nuts. Women were very protected and did not have access to money (either the right to go out and earn it or access to money earmarked for them). Let's say that dad said you could go to college but the one in your town…

Empathy gap is an incredibly adept term to describe feminism and men's rights movements. Women have some privileges and set backs. Men do as well. They sometimes are in the same area (wages) for different reasons (single parenthood or graduating college) that have different basis (early sexualization vs low self esteem). You don't have to assign any of these scenarios to a single gender, as flip the gender and give them the same problem and they likely end up in the same place. If we focus on, s…

One more thing I just gotta say. Our bio daughter was reading at the age of three to her preschool class. In kindergarten, her teacher would walk out go to the bathroom and would hand my daughter the Roald Dahl book and tell her to keep reading and she would be back. I took her to the library, to the museum, I worked with her on reading, we did science, we had so much fun. That's what being a SAHP should be about, not clean houses. Our child easily tested into the GATE program at school despite …

Well shit, I wasn't done with that. If you choose the job breaking rocks, there's nothing to stop the spouse from choosing that SAHM is not for her and also getting a 10 hour job. Then you're still in the same situation where the work is not getting done. So you can't compare how difficult your jobs are, because you could get a nice sales job where you aren't breaking rocks, just like she could get a job outside the house and not still be expected to do all the work and you could still come home…

You disagreed with me and were nice about it, thanks! You don't have kids. I had to laugh a the part where you said you wouldn't have to clean every day. They will literally up until he age of around 8 be taking out stuff while you are putting it away. There is jelly on the counter, or they spilled flour all over the floor and didn't quite clean it all the way. They have filthy hands and touch walls. I have legit had poop wipe on my shower curtain and the side of the toilet because it got on han…

Of course I was resentful. That's human nature. How many times could I express to my spouse that despite our idea that the stay at spouse could do everything, it just wasn't reasonable and keep getting blown off? Exactly, that in a strong relationship we should both want to tackle the work as a team. And what happens when the other team member is like, yeah, no thanks, you're just lazy and your job isn't hard? Look, totally tackled, just put forth more effort, wifey. Should I ask for a divorce? …

When a child is dropped off at daycare, are we okay if the daycare also has another business? Like sure, we'll watch your 2 and 6 year old all day, but we also do bookkeeping here, so meals may be late and we do a lot of TV time for the kids. Would you be okay paying for that, or would expect the person you are paying to engage your children, read to them, take them on outings, etc? If your answer to the above is that it's okay for your kids to be ignored and be watched by the TV, then yes, expe…

OMG, these last three lines made me laugh! You guys are cute. I think most women feel so badly for men, in that their sex drive looms so large in their lives compared to your average woman. I could go weeks in my 20s without thinking about sex. And I hear for men it's multiple times a day. It really is unfair to each sex that they don't each have the same drive.

I think it goes this way: girls used to be programmed to be people pleasers, to say yes and be accommodating, wear a dress, smile (the same way boys are taught to be gentlemen and never hit a girl no matter what, look out for girls, etc). Society is working on changing this early programming in both sexes currently, but still there a bit. Girl is trying to be nice and people please, also trying to enjoy sex, but also painfully aware that high numbers of partners is "bad". Que sexual anxiety and …

You failed to answer the question. What is the logical response?

Jeez, my count is 7 and I always thought that was high. I'm married (we married at 28). My husband doesn't even know his number, had a few one night stands for fun. I can give you the name and number of months I dated each guy. There were actually quite a few guys that I dated and then found out that I really didn't like them but I stayed with (one for 2.5 years and almost married) because I was terrified of having to start over with another guy. I can't even imagine the anxiety of casual sex. I…

What is the logical response women should have for knowing that she alone will never satisfy her mate? Serious question. Female aspie here. I find what men want from women very confusing and contradictory. But I think men have the same issue with women. So logical response from the male brain perspective is?

Were your instructions not to name one difference, not many or all? I think you mistook my reply to mean that I don't think there are many differences. There are so many areas where both men and women get the short end of the stick. A little sad, I thought I picked a good one. I think it's fantastic that men are so turned on by women's bodies. To see men who, (even if they are the same height as you) are almost without fail so much stronger than you as a woman, be brought down in awe of your bod…

Taking your shirt off at the beach, or any time you're hot and outside. I think everyone would be happier if society didn't judge women for it. Also, weird that it's okay to show breasts in rated R movies but not other genitalia. And we often have issues with public breastfeeding. Like seriously society, make up your mind. Are boobies taboo or no? Why the need to shame women to cover up, not show boobs, clevage, or midriff but guys go shirtless frequently. Guys wear revealing wifebeater type tan…
