I'd also like to point out, and this does not invalidate your experience, but that is an anecdotal argument. That would be true if men werent statisticaly more likely to be a victim of a violent crime than women And frankly, getting beaten up sucks a lot less than getting raped. I think most people would take getting beaten up ten times over getting raped once, I know I would. Yeah I get that but statisticaly women are mostly raped by people that they know

Yeah, rape is a thing, and a bad thing but mugging isnt the only thing that can happen to a male, at least from my experience, Me and my friend got attacked on streets of my village quite few times and that is even a reason ehy I started training mma, because we were getting beaten up realy badly, we werent mugged even once but those beatups were bad, I dont think that those who were attacking me would beat up a woman the same way, everyone can experience something painfull on the streets, males…

Men not being often scared of going out at night is the fact that they are biologicaly stronger so they think that they can fight the criminal, also girls were from young age taught to avoid going alone at night(because they are biologicaly weaker) even tho males are statisticaly more likely to be a target of a violent crime, the fact that someone feels safe in a not safe environment is not a privilege its stupidity Edit: and also, I am a male and I dont feel safe when I go out at night
