From a pure logical standpoint, opposing a belief A doesn't entail agreeing with belief B when there exist other beliefs C, D, E... But I will grant you that certain opposing things like genetic determinism and gender roles that TRP believes in is widely shared among progressives. TBP among themselves have a lot of variation, as do conservatives, libertarians, TRP, and other manospherians. Anyway, I still think your characterization of TBP and TRP is unusual and presupposes many TRP tenets, whic…

This doesn't make sense. Not only is BP not a consistent philosophy, but your framework is so flimsy you could say exactly the opposite: BP teaches you to figure out who you are and be free to become that RP teaches you to change yourself into something you want to be ("I used to be a beta and now I'm an alpha", "How I do cultivate dark triad traits?")

No, people don't oppose the Red Pill because they believe there are no psychological differences between men and women (maybe some do, I'm not one of them) The problem is the amateur overapplication/misapplication of scientific results to support the philosophy. Sure, on average, there are differences between men and women. But, as other posters stated, within-group variation is significantly greater than the between-group variation. TRP likes to defend its beliefs by saying "we're not talking a…

I'm not yet comfortable with the whole idea of hypergamy…

Dude, the post essentially says, "TRP doesn't realize that (their definition of) hypergamy can be explained by constrictive gender roles", under the presumption that it can exist. Are we reading the same post?

Look, it's not controversial that heterosexual men tend to evaluate partners based on attractiveness, and heterosexual women tend to evaluate partners based on status. The problem is that TRP takes this to extraordinary lengths, namely that these differences are innate, biological, and unchangeable. hypergamy means that women will always leave their partner when a better one is available. Neither of the above are supported by science in any sense, not even by the papers you've cited. A feminist/…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
