Her being unable to cook means mother-in-law can't command her to cook and then criticize her cooking and also accuse her of starving her son for being useless. Man, tiger moms scary.

Sterile and meaningless sex isn't appealing to men who don't want to waste their time and money. It's like "you haven't had much cocaine if you don't see easy access to cheap drugs" etc. Of course there are some of us here also may have a conscience about treating other people like tools the way we don't want it done to us.
