'Why do we see men telling everyone what women want?' Probably because of the blatant contradiction in what is stated verbally and what is witnessed behaviourally. That's actually how we know anything to be true, we observe it repeatedly and make accurate predictions. Your own awareness over what you want, or know, is much less reliable. People misremember, misunderstand, miscommunicate all the time. We'd trust empirical evidence over word of mouth in any other domain of life, so why not here?

Sorry to say but they do bro. Once you've experienced it enough you have an intuition for it, even though it can be different for different women. For some it can be more subtle and others overt , but there will be an 'energy' they put out that is very reactive and receptive to you. It feels like a level of attentiveness and approval seeking directed at you. I was oblivious to it when I was younger but that was just a lack of experience.

This guy is right. It is what it is. It's not a pretty reality but it's true. I went from being a sexually unsuccessful low status male in my teens and early 20s to being very sexually successful in my late 20s that can have a 'roster' of attractive women. The change that caused it was essentially to kill emotional neediness. You don't need to be a hyper masculine try hard , but just not being needy for female validation will make you less agreeable , over nice, desperate , clingy, low self conf…

The most progressive feminist women still get the ick from feminine traits in males. It's hard coded by millions of years of evolution, there's no 'wising up' possible, it's like men 'wising up' and no longer finding women with high fertility cues attractive.

Ugh such a defeatist and self pitying mindset. I mean, even if that was an objective assessment of yourself, which I doubt, as it sounds like you are mentally ill, it wouldn't be useful or pragmatic to have that belief. You should know by now, that insecurity and low self esteem is a repellent trait. You become an emotional vampire that sucks joy and positive energy out of those around you. You are so fragile that people have to walk on egg shells to not accidentally upset you. Even if you were …

I mean I wouldn't be so judgemental, men would be the same if they were in the same position. People are aspirational and shoot for the highest person they can get. Most of the women i date are very attractive, but only once in a while do I date someone that is so beautiful they take my breath away. I would want someone like that as a permanent partner, even if that's maybe not a reliable thing given I'm probably not quite at that level.

Yeah same here. I mean I feel like the amount of times I'm dating someone and think 'Man, if I was to only be with this person for the rest of my life, I'd be okay with that', has been maybe, twice in my life, and I have dated *hundreds* of attractive, successful women.

They are weird and awkward because they have no experience and no skill at all. I am weird and awkward when I play the piano because I never do it. If you really are determined to get better at it, you will, you might not get to the point where you're as smooth as James Bond, but you can RADICALLY increase from whenever you are, and be good enough. Instead, incels often don't because they have weak, victim, self-defeating mindset and use that to cripple themselves so it becomes a self fulfilling…

What do you think is the main issue for you? Looks? Neurodivergence? I feel it's just a matter of volume. Out of a certain amount of women, x will be into you. Maybe for some guys it's 1 in 5, maybe for some guys it's 1 in 100. It's just a matter of doing the reps.

What exactly do you want or expect to happen ? What's the purpose of these endless posts ? You never seem to deny when we point out women's preference, you just dodge it. Which is fine, but that's what the answer is, in terms of, explaining male behaviour. You just want to judge and morally shame the other side, because they don't conform to your beliefs or preferences, but why should they? There's no objective right and wrong. Things are the way that they are. You saying that it's a superiority…

I mean yes. Or at least, in order to be sexually aggressive, men have to be unconcerned with offending the other person. In order to be unconcerned with offending them, you need to 'look down' on them or it's more like 'not look up to them'. I don't know what you mean by only value them for sex exactly , you can value another person, have sex with them and then disengage, and still value them for things beyond sex. I only have encounters with women that I actually enjoy spending time with and en…

Males learn through experience what is effective. It's certainly not being sexually passive. It's certainly not being emotionally invested before a physical connection. Whatever the most effective strategy is, males will do. If the most effective strategy was to be good and honourable and kind hearted, that would be the typical male behaviour.

I always look forward to reading posts by LilithOfBabylon. She's not wrong about what she says, at all, but she also fails to consider the view from the other side and can't put herself in their shoes, and so will forever remain confused !

Maybe at the statistical level it plays out sure, but the subject of money just never comes up in my dating life
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/26 02:52 PM

Nah that's dumb. They care about chemistry and looks most of all, all that shit about money is so overrated unless you are unemployed living with parents. Money doesn't have anything to do with sexual attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/26 02:43 PM

I so agree about the cope people have about 'nice guys' not really being nice that you often hear in order to justify womens repulsion of 'non masculine traits' in guys like agreeableness or emotional neediness. I've had 'nice guy' phases of life and 'asshole player' phases of life. In the latter I was far more deliberately selfish and less empathetic, in the former I had genuinely good intentions. The asshole phase has been a far more sexually successful phase no doubt.

About 6 months but I was going on dates with attractive hinge girls like 5/6x per week
/r/seduction24/02/26 06:45 AM

But fortunately, unlike many things in life, it actually CAN change. So that's a silver lining. I was bullied and socially isolated most of my youth as a result of being neurodivergent, and had unbelievably bad self esteem. There were parts of my teenage years I was literally a mute. I was terrified of rejection and expressing interest in my teens and early 20s. Now, since my late 20s, I'm somehow more confident than most guys my age. More able to be unapologetically myself and express interest,…

The truth is the only way to calibrate is to both underdo it and overdo it. I was naturally a nice guy that underdid it, and I forced myself to act while I was learning which caused me to overdo it a fair bit and come off pushy, or not 'pushy' but poorly calibrated. Too quick too clumsy poor timing etc. Now I'm at the point where I literally don't try, it just comes naturally, and I don't really embarrass myself anymore, as a result of failing a bunch in both directions.

I agree , I do this. I'm technically not averse to a relationship, it's just exceptionally rare that someone inspires that desire (maybe 1 out of 50 women I date). A much higher number (1 in 5 to 1 in 10), I find attractive and are compatible, enough to keep seeing. I like them, get on great and enjoy hanging out, sometimes loads ! But I would be fine if they disappeared forever. So I'm not technically lying about what I want or pretending, I'm just keeping it ambiguous in the current situation …
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 01:21 PM

Not really at all like saying 'just goon for 3 hours a day'. Becoming attractive and socially confident enough to be a player takes a huge investment in time, discipline, perseverance, resilience against failure, internal confidence, non attachment, general social skills etc. It's actually a really great thing you can do for self improvement.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 07:33 PM

Yup exactly. Worked excellently for me. My interactions before and after that are night and day. One of the best things I did for my personal growth. Also teaches you a lot of generally useful skills such as confidence, social skills, non attachment, being in the moment, bravery, self advocacy, discipline, resilience etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 07:31 PM

A way to overcome this is actually to pursue sex with a variety of women and have a 'player' phase, and develop the confidence and skills to do so. Since then, it is night and day with how I interact with attractive women. It's easier to just act 'normally' and treat them like normal people because you are internally 'sated' and don't feel needy. You don't do them any more favours than you would with male friends, and don't act overly any particular way or feel any need to qualify yourself or sh…

Dude that shit doesn't even work anyway and it feels dehumanising. So why do it? You really don't have to be a dancing monkey... in fact you are more attractive if you don't do that. Stop doing things to 'raise attraction', just look for the people who are already attracted to you and 'just be yourself' around them while being chill and non needy/desperate. That's what works.

Relax. You are a homo sapien that is evolved in a social context where being apart from a tribe resulted in death, so you have a bunch of adaptations to make it undesirable to be alone. You therefore have a 'need' for connection to some degree, and inevitable fear of rejection and loneliness. To not have it would be inhuman. Don't let perfect be the enemy of the good. You are not Buddha. Of course you can be too dependent and needy for validation and safety, obviously. There's always a middle gr…

Basically look at symptoms of avoidant attachment style and train yourself to be more like that. Also have a lot of experience and heartbreak, your brain will regulate the ups and lows of things that happen in a predictable and consistent way.

One year ago I struggled to kiss, struggled to read signals, over thought it, got anxious leading up to it.. Now it literally doesn't phase me at all to get rejected from a kiss, and I never fret or feel anxious about going for it. I also can pretty much know for certain when someone is receptive to it just through intuition, so I don't get rejected anyway. All it took was a bunch of grinding and gaining experience. Eh, it's not that skill dependent. Often in a casual encounter, the amount of foreplay women need to orgasm is really high, and guys just aren't patient enough for that. Even if you are well endowed and skillful, if you rush too much it doesn't help them.

I mean personally I'm doing a lot better now than I was in my early and mid 20s, because I was a gamer shut in, socially underdeveloped and very insecure. Now at 30 I'm in the best shape of my life, more confident, more social and am constantly dating beautiful women. I was speaking to a friend who is early 30s, and had more success when he was younger, and he claims it's more difficult now and he struggles to get 'hot 25 year olds' but has no problem dating women in their 30s. I actually don't …

I mean for my situation, I actually do want a relationship, I'm just extremely picky and the girls that I'd be interested in for that come around only once in a long while. So that means a lot of dating and 'going with the flow' and being coy about intentions, because I am being genuine about that. That means that some women are getting led on.

I'm a little concerned with reputational damage, from a large amount of unethical behaviour. Maybe that's silly as I live in a large city, but still. Blatantly lying about things like exclusivity seems like they could bite you in the ass. Furthermore, going against your values actually feels bad. I led on a girl a couple of weeks ago, not outright lying, but still I could see she was getting attached and I had no long term intention of her and ghosted her after sex. What do you mean aspect of it that I thrive effortlessly? I'm not sure.. I mean.. some girls have been super attracted to me, and others not. It's hard to put it down to something in particular. I assume it's the same reason I'm more into some girls than others, a little intangible. I mean I can DM you my current hinge profile and you probably get the idea of my style/look.

I get it. But I also think there is a degree of you are just some people's type. I have dated very attractive women where I've been their type, and the same for lots of decently attractive women, but the former is just infrequent. My vibe is very much down to earth outdoorsy guy, no social media, take hiking trips up mountains and do solo travel and am in good shape. So true, yes. I mean I'm in the best shape of my life I'd say. I'm doing well in my career, I have good friends and fun hobbies and travel trips planned. I'm being social and continue to work on confidence, and gain experience through dating. I've dated maybe 100 women in the past year, and have slept with probably about 10, which I know seems like a low 'hit rate', but I'm not just sleeping with whoever I can, only girls I'm really attracted to and have strong chemistry with, which is infrequen…

I have an abundance of options, but the 'blow you away' extremely beautiful women only come once in a while, like maybe one every 2-3 months. I just use dating apps currently so maybe expanding that could help with that.

Okay, that makes sense. In your example it sounds like straight up expressed rudeness/disinterest. I would instantly cease contact in this kind of situation. In fact, if someone told me, on a date, that they wished they'd cancelled, I'd just make an excuse to leave right there and then and never talk to them again. What my recent situation was more like, great 4 hour date, lots of flowing conversation, she is asking me lots of questions and seems interested in me, we're having fun. She touches m…

What was she critiquing you about ? I know a common problem is acting too platonic and not making a move, I don't think I have that too much. I just don't push too hard with it if I'm not getting a lot back. The way some of these guys on this forum talk, it seems like the advice is basically to push and escalate almost to the point of being slapped. I exaggerate a little.
/r/seduction14/12/25 01:54 PM

I've dated some very beautiful women. It's more about me not being persistent enough and disengaging when they aren't immediately receptive. I do escalate a couple of times and then give up if it's not obvious.
/r/seduction14/12/25 11:49 AM
1

Eh. Depends. Highly intentional, relationship focused women often will hold out much longer despite showing other signs of strong interest. Often they've been burned too many times or had a particularly religious/sheltered upbringing. There's a lot of different types of people in this world.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 08:33 PM

By having enough experiences with both kinds to develop an intuition for it. It will never be perfect, but you can get a good sense. Obviously, from 1 date that's almost impossible, but from 3-5 dates you certainly can. I'd say it comes down to signs the guy is emotionally invested in you such as: being responsive, taking initiative planning/paying, showing affection, talking about future ideas, showing vulnerabilities about himself, being a bit nervous/anxious etc. Unfortunately the exact type …

Why do incels care about shit in the distant past so much ? The past doesn't matter at all, it's just a thought in your mind, nothing more. The most weak minded people I swear. Your life at 45 is not contingent on whatever 'glory days memories' you may or may not have.. whatever that means. It doesn't matter. That time doesn't exist anymore. Focus on your life now and stop being bitter.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 05:50 PM

Maybe, but I'm also kinda bored of dating just for the sake of hookups, so if I didn't have the 'motivation' to achieve a certain goal, I just wouldn't actually meet any women.

I don't even know what I want. I can date beautiful , intelligent, great women , and I want to want a relationship, but can never get myself to pull the trigger and commit. It may just be a matter of waiting for the right person, but, I've dated a lot of women at this point.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 09:22 PM

It's all relative, I'm a good looking guy and can get sex and relationships, but you're always wanting it with the ones slightly out of reach. As I've improved myself and the attractiveness of my partners has gone up, so have my standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 09:06 PM

I would be fine with this dynamic, except for the fact that women do not feel sexually attracted to men that want them more than they want them. It is just the way it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/25 08:00 PM
7

You said don't escalate unless she is giving signals ffs, that is going to make guys worried about it and overthink. If you fuck up and overdo it it's actually not a big deal. So don't worry about it, better to overdo it than underdo it while learning , and you'll figure it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/25 03:21 PM
11

Terrible advise. You can only learn how to read body language effectively through trial and error and fucking up a few times. It doesn't matter if she thinks you're clueless or not interested, you have to act despite that. Over time you will calibrate and be able to read things well, but at first you will mess up and no one cares, and if they do, their opinions don't matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/25 03:14 PM

It's not about 'committing' instantly like it's about showing signs of intention and investment in the first few dates. Its responsive to them, sometimes women will be asking you about other dates you've had other people you are seeing what you are looking for really gays

My t levels and libido is fine, it's not a question of sex drive. I'm talking about need for emotional connection. I want to want more emotional connection and intimacy than I do currently, and develop feelings for women beyond lust.

Only for the young and inexperienced. There are lots of hot people. An attractive woman that gives me crumbs I wont put up with because I know my worth, have other options and have self control and boundaries etc. women are the same, even easier for them as they have more options in general.
/r/seduction22/11/25 12:22 PM

I don't know where you guys find all these 'secretly hoping you'll commit' women honestly. I feel like most women have cottoned on by now and will spot that you are non-committal or not invested pretty early on and eject themselves to spare their feelings. At least the attractive, high self esteem, intelligent ones. The only time I've had these 'roster women that are happy with crumbs' types are when the woman has emotional problems and low self esteem.

I feel this stuff doesn't even need to be said. If I don't care about a girl, and don't see her as a future partner, I just naturally won't be compelled to 'persist'. To what end would you anyway? Just for the sake of increasing an arbitrary number? I understand that tendency when you are starting out and gaining experiences, but once you've done it a few times you realise it doesn't increase your life satisfaction. What about the issue where you give too little of a fuck and can no longer form feelings? I'm losing a lot more women to being nonchalant than being needy these days. It's the opposite problem I used to have, as a result of a lot of volume over the last while. The issue isn't even losing the women, it's the fact I simply don't care. dude. I'm not sure what you are confused amount. Evolution describes a behaviour that was adaptive, in this case, males defending female mates. Yes this is an accurate descriptive of evolutionary history. However, this is what is known as the 'is/ought' problem. For example, it may have been evolutionary advantageous to kill other tribes males and rape their females. That does not m…

I see. Well, degree of complexity doesn't indicate impossible, it just indicates difficult. Something being a creation of man doesn't really mean anything. After all, the brain is just a computer fundamentally, and if we replicated every single neuron, synapse, etc in a machine we could expect a similar function to the brain.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 03:13 PM
5

I think by the time it reaches sufficient complexity to replicate real human interactions, we probably won't be relying on traditional reproduction to control population rates.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 02:53 PM

you could program in conflict, you could totally replicate a real relationship to the point where you couldn't tell the difference theoretically.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 02:52 PM

What makes you think it is impossible? Honest question. It is obviously obscenely complex, and we are no where near it right now, but I don't get why you think it is impossible?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 02:51 PM

You can theoretically program the machine to replicate human behaviour enough so that given two scenarios you experience, one real woman and one AI, you could not tell the difference. Does it then make any difference to you ?

what difference does it make? also, how do you know that a sufficiently advanced AI won't really be conscious, and truly feel the emotions it is programmed with? Since we are still clueless when it comes to humans, it's presumptuous to assume that they are not capable of feelings.

You don't know that other people genuinely consciously feel emotions , you only can know that you do. We can assume that it's likely others do, since there is no reason to believe that we are unique, but a robot that utterly replicates human behaviour may be able to bypass your skepticism, you may just not care if the 'lights are really on' because it really feels like they are.

I think it will exist but not for a very long time. Humans are just very complex robots fundamentally, eventually we will have the knowledge to replicate them.

What height did your mother drop you from as a baby to explain your (lack of) brain function?

Literally everything in life is genetically coded, and how these genes are expressed in an environment.

Great. Now realise, it's not that simple. There is variation in how many calories are stored, how many are expended, proportion of what they are stored as and where they are stored. Take for example animals, some animals have adaptions to store high body fat, like seals. Some have adapted to store low body fat, like Cheetahs. They are both carnivores, but since they had different selective pressures, the way their bodies utilise these calories is different. All I'm saying here is that genetics o…

Yeah dipshit, some genetics only manifest in certain environments. If a caveman was born with a genetic inclination for being a world class programmer, I guess he would never know.

Nice slogan. Too bad humans are not identical isolated systems or you may have a point.

It's really not that simple. A lot of it is genetics and influences in early life that cement a certain wiring in people's brains. Neither of which they had control over.

maybe try and stop identifying with 'the self'

can't these be treated? maybe not perfectly but can make improvements. Isn't the whole point of therapy to re engineer the way you think about things like this?

I admit they do tend to look 'masculinising' a bit, but I have seen plenty of good looking girls with acne scars or marks and really they don't have nearly as much of an impact as other physical traits.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
