It's stated in this article: http://uk.businessinsider.com/james-damore-removes-phd-studies-linkedin-2017-8 That Damore was fired for breaking Google's 'code of conduct' after posting the memo. Although I think saying that you have completed a PhD when you haven't is stupid.

What else am I supposed to do? Get angry? Seems pretty pointless. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing, 2 months ago I never would have even contemplated doing this. So I am making progress.

My SMV is quite high for my age group (or at least I thought that), I'm always active: Climbing, cycling and supplementing that with gym work. If this has taught me anything it is that I have to approach more and stop being anxious around women I'm attracted to, just go for it. I have nothing to lose.
