Be cordial not friendly, Don’t underestimate kids intuition. They will know it is fake and this not how we build relationship. It shows a bad example. Moreover, you need to heal and a wayward BS are trigger by definition

OP, Did you sleep with someone else during this separation ? NO, but she did. All the memories, the love and the deep feeling meant nothing when she slept with the other Guy. You said it wasn’t adultery but she is still your wife. She left because she thought that the grass would be greener but I wasn’t. Now you are plan B. Is there more to the story? You can be sure about that and it will eat to know the full story. She is not a safe partner OP and you are want to read the same story expecting …

Every step seems as a new betrayal an open up a wound that is still fresh OP. You have to let go for good. Use the Co-parenting App and stay always cordial in any form of communication OP. Don’t a a source of supply in any kind. She failed the wife test but stays as the mother of your child. Don’t wait for revenge, justice or closure OP. A partner than can commit such betrayal will be tainted for life. My father left his first marriage with two daughters and and never looked back. Stay strong

My two older sisters were abandoned by their mother. They always loved her but they knew who is there rock and anchor. When I asked them about their most beautiful moment ,they will always tell me about their trip around the world with Dad and it happened approx 1 year after they were abandoned 1,5 after divorce. Wish you the best

Build quality time and beautiful memories with them in this additional time OP. You can’t control her but you can make every second with your kids worth it. Moreover don’t let her actions affect you like that. If she was the stable parent she wouldn’t have nuked her marriage/family

The grieving period is normal, it does mean that you are relapsing or weakening. It only means that the you cared, committed and mature in your relationship. But arguments and discussions are to be avoided post break up. It is like flagging a death horse OP. And You can’t shame the shameless. Nothing that the betrayer can do will gives you what was taken from you. As for feeling neutral or meh, it take times, depends on the person and the former relationship. Accept the it has happened to you an…

There is a trend of callous and immature behavior from her part. I wouldn’t be surprised that it will continue. This is the real she. I think that both of them AP/WW are like share this lack of decency. You focus on yourself OP. Her happiness/ unhappiness must not affect you. It is difficult to reach this point but you must see her as she really is now. A person that act this way is not to be missed. Don’t react in anger and stay civil, report every actions to your lawyer to do his/her job

Hello OP, The thing that you describe exists really and you don’t need to get married to experience that. It any LTR’s break up. Sometimes people are victims of the ex smear campaign (it doesn’t justify their behavior ) or it is due to their own insecurities 🤷🏻‍♂️ As you said, you can use it to filter your inner circles Life is too short for this shit

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
