Yeah, those are aspects of masculinity and masculine expectations that harm men. Thats whats meant by toxic masculinity. You should check out r/menslib, thats some of the stuff they talk about.

Women in combat roles is a rare exception in modern times and all through history. Yes women and even children have been soldiers, this just means their people where in a dire and desperate situation.

Oh I was confused because in the real world women have performed a supportive role in conflict while men did the fighting. This seems to have been the case for every society for all of history on every corner of the globe. Ok, maybe there was an exception or 2.

I guess not, apparently I live in a world where men have done the vast majority of the fighting for all of history. That's why I thought the guy lived in some game where male and female characters have equal stats. That's certainly not the real world we live in.
