Wasn't it proven that they actually get paid more than the men?

Okay maybe not in all cases. I'm sure you get the idea. ;)

Also in my 40s. The one thing I've learned is that what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. Every experience in life is an opportunity to learn and grow.

Get up, shower, get dressed, eat healthy food, exercise, find another job, make money, save money, feel better. Get a routine going, don't wallow in self pity. You got this. She ain't shit.

You mean drinking too much white wine and talking endless crap with their friends isn't a hobby? I'm shocked I tell you!

Well that's how it is in South Africa at least. I can't speak for other countries - their dowry systems may work differently.

Lobola is paid by the groom to the wife's family. It's a serious negotiation between their respective families (neither the groom nor the bride attend these discussions) and it's just a way for the bride's family to see how much they can extract. Usually it includes a ceremonial animal like a cow (or more), cash, and so on. I always find it funny that western cultures "give the bride away", but here they essentially sell her to the highest bidder. Extra is due if she's pretty, can sing well, etc…

This seems appropriate: "How scientists taught monkeys the concept of money. Not long after, the first prostitute monkey appeared" article

It doesn't have a leader because it isn't a movement. A philosophy doesn't need a leader.

As a white male South African, I have been experiencing this for the past 26 years. Affirmative action, black economic empowerment, whatever you call it. It's discrimination, plain and simple.

And the reason us MGTOW men aren't inspired? Because women are loveless. I respectfully disagree. I am inspired because I am MGTOW. When I was married and blue pilled I didn't have the energy.

Absolutely agree, this article completely misses the point and, once again, makes men out to be the bad guys. Clown world.

It's my understanding that it's a lot more prevalent in the indigenous population. Mix alcohol into the situation and you end up with some inflated numbers, a-la American Indians on reservations.

The problem with the numbers is that in many cases deaths that had nothing to do with covid are marked down as covid deaths. I personally know of someone who had terminal brain cancer and his death was attributed to covid. And it's not the only story I've heard. So, I genuinely don't believe the numbers are accurate.

I am a creative director at my company and had to review a new employee's work a few weeks back. She accused me afterwards of mansplaining to her. All I did was critique her ideas like I would do with any employee and have been doing so for the past 24 years. This was a first for me, and no doubt not the last.

Same here. After daring to question a ridiculously over-gerneralised statement on TwoXChromosomes, I was insta-banned in about 5 seconds. Can't question the hive mind.

Agreed. I don't think this should be a place for politics. For example, I am not a US citizen, and I don't care about US politics. I am more of a libertarian in my views. As such, I don't like Trump or Biden or any of them. It seems like MGTOW is being aligned with the Trump/Republican position. This shouldn't be the case. MGTOW is an apolitical philosophy, well it is for me at least.
