There are degrees/levels of attraction. Most men aren’t with woman that they find crazy attractive, compared to other women. Most men have a pretty low standard of what they consider attractive, which js why women aren’t satisfied when they are told “if he wasn’t attracted to you, he wouldn’t be dating you”. Because they know most men can’t afford to be picky and their base line for what is attractive is kinda gross rather than comforting.

You said “raw desire” not attraction. So I replied assuming you meant what you said.

Yea..they have a lot of raw desire for many women…. who they have no chance of dating. Most people don’t feel a raw desire for their partners right away until an emotional connection is established. Like most men in askmen express how they find their wives post baby body so sexy blahblah, but basically they find it attractive because it’s “her” vs. just going off of looks. Same thing with women. “Most men can’t say no to sex”. But women can and have rejected advances all their life. I’d be more …

It’s the same with men. Do you believe most men have thjs raw desire for their girlfriends? I’d say men are more swayed to act on the sexual raw desire they feel for someone who isn’t their partner, if given the chance. The average man doesn’t know how to say “no” to sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 11:05 PM

Show them off… for who? For attention… for people to notice you? Showing off is done for attention, so people look at you.

I mentioned that there are average men I’ve known who have turned down the local hoe because they had standards, and it peaked the interest and respect of other women who witnessed it and found out later. It made them come off as high status in a way, it honestly changed how I viewed them.

This is it. Chad has the ability to reject women who don’t meet his standards, that makes his validation significant. As a stacy, nothing turns me off more than a guy who is so desperate for sex he can’t reject a woman. It shows me you’re undesirable, lack standards and lack self respect- and that having sex with you means nothing. I have met men who aren’t Chads who have standards and it’s such a turn on. It’s pathetic to know a guy would have sex with any girl just because she isn’t fat. I don…

Raya is so bad. No one messages, it’s like an art gallery. It also shows people from all over the world, which isn’t helpful. Sure, it has a lot of industry people on it but since no one really uses it, it’s kinda pointless. Speaking of Billionaires, one of the Winklevoss brothers is on Hinge. He had his IG connected to his profile as well.

I agree. Just because you are attractive doesn’t mean you’ll be everyone’s type. The whole point of having a type is something specific. If you’re an attractive curvy brunette but a guys type is attractive slim blondes, you will not be his type.

Most men are not attractive, AND they don’t know the first thing about how to appeal to the female gaze. Women grow up in a society where most things in the media are all about the male gaze. From lotion ads featuring half naked women on billboards to just the average television show (those scenes that pan the women’s body from head to toe). Men don’t know how to appeal to the majority of women. Women discover what their physical “strengths” are (beyond what’s between their legs) from a pretty y…

They do. Men are just too focused using their looks for sex when their younger rather than finding a partner. By the time they are ready to settle down (if ever), their good looks have significantly diminished and they don’t have dating skills, since they have never practiced serious dating. And mostly don’t have a big enough bank account to make up for it. And yes, many women will overlook looks to a degree that men won’t. And women, well, even when their looks diminish they still have them in …

The whole reason women like tall men is because it makes them feel feminine and “protected” in a sense, it amplifies the man’s masculinity. If you’re lanky, you’re probably just making them feel fat or something when their next to you, like you can’t manhandle them.

Could you answer the other questions as well? How you personally go about it? And if you look at porn or not? Are you only counting men as sexual partners? What about bi sexual women? I honestly have not encountered a (grown) man who has cared (I know their girlfriends, exes or have mutuals with the women they have dated) so I am curious.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/22 01:32 AM

This doesn’t really answer any of my questions. I know they don’t care because I know their girlfriends or at least know enough about the people they’ve dated. They didn’t care. I don’t really know any men who struggle with sex so these women had the same sexual outlook as the women they dated. The most desirable men I’ve known don’t care. Then men who complain, they can’t even get a date however…. It seems to be a real concern to them. Interesting thing.

You really can’t tell by that. Also that doesn’t make sense. Not everyone with a stable family abstains from casual sex. At all. You would have to wait a long time to really get to know her family to even determine that. That’s not first date sort of questions. Sounds like a waste of time to go through these motions with multiple women. I live in a big city, and I’ve never met a man who cared. Relationship seeking or not. I don’t think a guy paying a for a girls fight so she can come visit him is simping. There a ton of men who do that without blinking an eye, and many more who suggest it (and these aren’t exactly rich men). I consider simping putting the pussy on the pedestal. Average guys usually find plain Jane girls attractive. I mean look at your ex or girls you’ve had crushes on, I’m sure if you suddenly earned a lot of money they wouldn’t be ugly to you. I’m curious: playing on the comparison of the “ideal 6 foot plus” preference. You can accurately measure that. A promiscuous past, you can never be sure. Ever. Would the men who hold the body count standard really stop dating the women if he found she actually slept with 3 more people than what she initially recalled? Would he stop getting erections with his partner after finding this out? Would he no longer find her personality appealing? Im so curious how the whole body count thing works. Woul…

Men have a pretty low threshold of what they consider pretty, so perhaps what I consider plain/ unattractive would fall under what men think is pretty. Most people don’t have great faces so it’s disadvantageous for a man to prioritize wanting a pretty face. Most people (with their hair pulled back) don’t have great faces, most people are plain to unattractive/nondescript. I’d say Alexis Ren doesn’t have a pretty face, she’s rather plain looking but her body helps add to her overall attractivenes…

How many men have turned down sex or avoided sex (when offered it) because they are afraid of being falsely accused?? I mean it’s a legitimate fear,I would probably avoid sex until I know I could trust the girl. Do you practice this? What ways do you ensure you are protected? I find it hard to believe the sAme men who complain about lack of sex, really fear being falsely accused enough to turn it down. So strange.

Hey, so. Girl here. Peeked your Instagram, just a casual glance. It’s a cultural difference. Your look is urban, the aesthetic a little “out there” and not clean cut. It doesn’t give off middle class vibes. Most white women, even if they don’t come from a middle class home are attracted to that look. If you are a man of color, aren’t rich or have no clout and aren’t clean cut and are trying to pull white women…. The odds are against you. Easy as that. You’re whole look is rooted in African Ameri…

Most older men can’t afford to be that picky and turn down a woman in their own age group, but if you were to ask around what age do woman look the best, a female in her 20s is the answer. No matter how hot a female is, a man will always desire other women. So... win-lose? But it's being desired back that makes the woman the winner here. From what I’ve seen, it’s never the extremely attractive women who are having the most casual sex but the more “attainable” cute girls.

I like tall blonde surfer like guys with long hair. That’s my type. Not every guy I’ve dated, liked or been in a relationship with has fit that type. I’m sure not every guy the chubby chaser girl has been with or dated has been chubby. A guy might be into curvy, busty latinas and end up in a long term relationship with a small chested skinny blonde. And yeah it might be kinda awkward when she turns 30 and is still trying to date a guy in a frat.

Exactly. You can also expect, jealousy and treachery. I used to approach all types of people for friendship but the bigger/fatter/less attractive the person was the more bitter and resentful they were. Ever read any Carl Jung? He's theories revolve around the ego "Jung described the animus as the unconscious masculine side of a woman, and the anima as the unconscious feminine side of a man, each transcending the personal psyche." really interesting.

Your ex did the classic "negging" manipulation tactic. He was trying to take away your self esteem. Sounds like a dick. It had nothing to do with you. Normal healthy minded people don't make these kinda of comments to people they are in relationships, hell- they don't even make these comments to a stranger. It wasn't you. To think you "triggered" this type of behavior in him is not the way to think about it. He hasn't changed, and acting the same way with his new girlfriend.

The whole argument that people have needs and urges and thus can’t stay committed or can’t go without sex because it’s their “biological wiring” is silly- FDS acknowledges this. If a woman or man can’t go for X amount of months without sex (while in the early stages of dating someone or when taking a break in dating- you need to address this might be a problem) It’s absolutely not controlling to question if a potential partner might not be compatible with you. My input; I do think men do get intimidated by some women (not as a whole though). It’s case by case. My experience: Well, I’ve heard it said to my face as a reason some guys didn’t “bother” pursuing me, casually or romantically. When I asked for a more specific “why”, I’ve had many straight up say it had to do with how they perceived my self esteem/worth (I come off as some who goes for respect rather than likability from males- which is true). But the reason I have heard most; I come off as so…

I’m physically cringing on how convinced you are that people are intimidated by you because you model.... part time. You’ve mentioned it more than once in reply. It’s not a reason. And That’s very nice but a guy spending money on his wife or anyone doesn’t equaal a high value man. It’s concerning you that you equate money spent on you as high quality. Men are just so lazy with their appearance, and completely dumb when it comes to improving their attractiveness. I wish more men whitened their teeth, or didn’t have yellow teeth- would brighten their complexion. And would suggest they take care of themselves/hygienic. Many men accept that they will never be a Chad, so why even bother trying to look good. That’s a major problem. You can still attempt to look YOUR best. C’mon guys.

I’ve never seen it personally. Maybe it was your definition of a Chad but not a 100k+ instagram Chad. Usually they date other good looking people, or someone who has clout in other area- Instagram chick, rich, or influential. I thought chads were just extremely good looking guys. You can’t seem to offer a good counter argument toward the valid points I made in my post, and are throwing a tantrum posting unrelated posts. If this is how you argue in your relationships, I too, would leave you. Illogical and off topic. Trying to change the subject and attack me instead of sticking to …

Women dating on their own terms, and not acting like they “need” a man to come save them or complete their life. And they get to choose what men they want in their lives. Setting standards, and living by those standards. High standards. But this post gives men too much credit. A man I sleep with, is a lucky one- but if I chose to only have a sexual casual relationship with him on MY terms- that’s the whole point. Casual encounter while I take a breather on dating. My terms. No compromise. But ag…

Don’t be ashamed of yours standards. Sexual attraction is very important in a relationship.

This might be aggressive but: I don’t give a shit what the majority of men care about lollll (also what do these men look like tbh lol) Guys will fuck anything. When I’m insecure about something of course I know there’s a man out there who won’t care, but I hold myself to a higher standard then “well he doesn’t care so it shouldn’t bother me”. I don’t feel comfortable letting a man “approve” of things on my body. If anything I mostly feel like saying “oh I’ve noticed, I’ve seen the last girl you…

Emma Watson? I think I’m a little confused here, but it seems like you are referring to more white Culture/ Eurocentric views on beauty..... typical,... but disappointing. I don’t think the majority of African/Caribbean men would look twice at Emma Watson. Different beauty standards/ideals. It’s interesting how you a user says his exes are basic looking girls, and then you choose who I would consider a very plain basic white girl to prove your point that not all men are attracted to the same coo…

Attractive and “would I date him” are very different. As a man, you should know this. I’ve seen plenty of short attractive guys, do they get my blood pumping though? Nah. Same concept as a guy who prefers fit girls saying a chubby girl is “cute”, cute enough for one night? Sure. Cute enough for him to desire her and keep him sexually satisfied? Not a chance.

I agree with you. It’s almost like the guy finally lost weight so she now would LET him fuck her. It’s pathetic on his part and kinda a power move on her part. Am girl. Would find it entertainingly sad I could disrespect a guy like that and he would still desire and lust after me enough to actually go through with the deed. She literally laughed at you while you were being degraded and you still wanted her. Das a bad bitch.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
