sounds like you had a great time! Remember not to expect every experience to be like this one, open mind, new day, etc. just remember what it felt like to be in that mode and work with what ya got!

I think you misunderstood me. I wasnt calling OP a dick, it seemed like you were insinuating that this place is meant for "mysoginistic bullshit content" so I was saying thats not what this place is for. OP's story is a nice change of pace for here, its more along the lines of the "equality" aspect.

This isnt that kind of place. This is kind of a blend of justiceporn and equality. not being straight up dicks to women for no reason.

well he did say "autsitic" so maybe we're projecting. :P Autsitic may be some awful thing where he is from.

how long has it been? it sounds like a natural thing to go through. sometimes its not as easy as flipping off the attachment switch. sometimes were just attached. it happens. like /u/powerseductionwar said, feel your feels and move on. eventually youll feel better about the situation. remember to not feel so pressured to find somebody perfect for you right away. take your time and explore life a little, im sure this will help you get over your ex. especially with some perspective.

oh right gotcha, thanks. also, I was thinking about it earlier, I notice in your post you mention having a strong voice, and focusing on tonality. Is this just something you choose to focus on? I notice girls dont really care as much about a guys voice if his personality skyrockets the rest of him the way. you could have a squeeky voice and it wouldnt matter if your game is good. On a side note of voice... since I started working out, my voice has gotten deeper. I thought that was an interesting…

I was just thinking to myself as I read this, that I was going to try something new next time I go out, maybe itll give you an idea too. I tend to be in my head a lot too. I obviously have the best time when im not stuck up there thinking, "shit what now what now"... instead, next time im going to approach people, and start talking/asking questions. when they talk, im going to listen hardcore. like nothing else is going on. I tend to get distracted when people talk, so I think being 100% focused…

I could have used this reminder two weeks ago, sent too many texts and let on I was too interested. Obviously didnt work out. Lesson learned!

I havent met her in person. Truth be told it was over okcupid. I offered up the number, which gave her an opportunity to take any bait she chose. "would you like to meet up some time?" was my exact quote, followed by something light hearted. then I offered the number and said she could text me. I may take Ozzy91's advice and respond with something silly. I understand that online "dating" is akward and all, but get some balls and meet people. if she isnt receptive, im dropping her. Thanks for you…

I think I got a shit test. I send her a message saying we should hang out sometime. Her response is "I want to get to know you more before we meet in person. Sorry!" Not sure what the appropriate response is. I am always an understanding person, but id like a fun way to encourage engagement from this chick. Rather than saying "oh I totally understand"...which is a lame response.

I have this problem too, I seem to ask all the questions. I think the point is to tease them into it, with things like sarcasm and open ended questions. ive gotten the impression that sometimes girls are intimidated by a wall of questions. ive seen people suggest you ask them to join you in a game of pool, get them interested in an activity, get their minds off of "someone is approaching me, I wonder what his goal is bla bla bla" I suck at this game so by all means I need an expert to back me up…

Well not everything is so black and white, so yes it can matter. Stop seeing people as machines with black or white feelings. Freakin GOSH.

So he gave you a disinterested expression? I try not to see things like that as mis.sed opportunities, you'll get stuck reminiscing about fantasies, waste of time. Atleast you closed your target girl instead. I think you handled that properly

I've had things like this happen, could it be that she talked herself out of it out of being too nervous? Im still a shy person, and I've felt like bailing out on meet ups, to include friends because I overthink it.
