My husband got one when he was around 24/24 when we had our 3rd and last child. We both regret it now in our 40s wishing we would have had another. We may look in to fostering more in the future as well as adoption. Too many kids are in this world needing help and wanting a loving home. I will never win …

Or they both can be thinking the other half is not wanting them. Especially with how much changes after all those years. If it’s just the intimacy issue I think he should see if she’s feeling the same.

Why don’t you try being intimate with your wife? She could be feeling the same. Maybe she’s convinced you do not want to be intimate with her. That jet looks have changed or she has failed you in some way. If you just want out or don’t have love anymore that’s different. But something so simple as two people convincing themselves that the other doesn’t want to be. Especially in long term marriages. Try to spark things up again. See if you two still have it.
