Male on male rape is also excluded in many places. It's like they believe that boys and men are expendable. I was raped at literally the age of 10 (not statutory rape but actual rape) and the law enforcement in my country did nothing because "men cannot be raped".

No, I think rape against women is an issue and though the stats are inflated, even without that they're pretty high. But that doesn't mean feminists can blame all men or a majority of men because that's not true at all. A very small percentage of men are actually rapists, not to mention that many male victims don't get justice at all and that's largely due to feminists pushing the narrative that men can't be raped.

Yeah it's a privilege.

Have you ever heard a man ever make a post like that? I think in one of your previous comments you admitted you've never seen a man make a post like that. That really explains why we reacted negatively to your comment. Men in general are never acknowledged by society and we don't expect any empathy. Moreover, we never think that struggles that any human faces are struggles that can only be faced by our own gender. We're not sexist in the way that you are. That's why when a woman writes something…

Why wouldn't they make it about themselves, when you in the first place made it about them? You literally said your struggles are more than that of men, of course, the men who disagree are going to reply. If you said something like "I face a lot of struggles", I am 100% sure people would be reacting a lot more positively. Also, from reading your comments here it doesn't seem to me that you were harassed or anything, in fact, it seems like you're harassing everyone else and are really angry. You …

Your struggles are definitely acknowledged. If not by me or people in this sub, then by dozens of people that replied to your comment. I am 100% sure people acknowledge your struggles more than mine. I don't even want to discuss some of the stuff I've faced because it's way too disgusting to even post here, and it's not like they've ever been acknowledged by society in general.

If all men were rapists and if we were in a patriarchy like feminists claim, rape would never have been criminalized, and men would never ever be false accused and have their lives ruined.

The thing is, women are acknowledged far more than men, even though they aren't victim of as many crimes. If you want to be acknowledged, I don't mind it, but if you're angry with other men wanting to be acknowledged for facing something worse, you're an asshole.

Look, I believe what you're saying and I don't want to invalidate your experience, but trust me when I say that men are also harassed and face many more violent crimes. In fact, if you don't believe me, look up the actual stats. Just because you were followed home thrice doesn't mean that if you were a man, you wouldn't face any crime at all. In fact it would be far worse, like the stats suggest.

You need to argue with people in good faith. If you manage to do that, we would be fine with having a logical and meaningful discussion with you, unlike feminists. You specifically said that you suffer more than men, of course we're going to argue against that if we don't think it's true. Next time, at least try to mask your misandry by saying something like "I suffer a lot" instead of saying "I suffer more than men".

Exactly, women have always enjoyed many privileges, feminism just increased them and brought it to our attention.

We're repeating our past every single day. Tell me one thing that has improved for men over let's say the past few decades. Suicide rates, parental alienation, gender roles, etc have all stayed the same if not worsened. So it's not like we've learned from our past mistakes and it's not like men weren't treated as property in the past. We were and still are treated as a wallet and are thought to be expendable

True but they don't get nearly as much coverage. Also No Nut November isn't exactly similar to women's day.

When I was 10, I was raped by a man. No not statutory rape, actual rape, and for years I believed that I wasn't raped all because of the lies spread by feminists saying that boys cannot be raped. And considering the legal system in my country it's not like my rapist would have even faced any punishment, just because the victim was a male. At least it wasn't a female rapist or else they would have made me pay child support as well. I really hope no other young boy has to face such circumstances.

In my culture, a woman sits in the house all day and doesn't do any chores while the man works full time to provide for the family, and then also helps with the chores. And then it's only the mother who gets the appreciation because the dad wasn't even at home to spend time with his children. That's why I never miss the opportunity to appreciate and be grateful to my dad. I don't need a men's day for that because I do it whenever I can. Btw if you don't mind me asking, where are you from because…

Also, your comment that mothers are often underappreciated doesn't make much sense. Yes, mothers deserve more appreciation than their children might give them, however when compared to fathers, mothers get a lot more credit and appreciation even in cases where that's undeserving.

Mother's day exists for that. How about we give men, women and people in general recognition for actually doing something rather than just being born with certain genitalia? Mother's day, father's day etc are days where people get actual recognition. Women's day like men's day is totally useless for anything other than spreading misandry.

And btw that still wouldn't be an invention by women.

Despite the blatant discrimination, men will still continue to buy ford's cars and maybe the number of female buyers will increase. This is one of the main reasons why misandry is so normalized and they can get away with such advertisements. We need to stop giving our attention or money to people/corporations that are sexist and discriminatory.

I have never seen that IRL either but on social media it happens quite a lot and people just say that it's a woman's preference. They don't say the same thing when it's a man doing that. The people who feel a woman doing that is wrong, don't hate on the woman as much as they would hate on a man.

The double standard is the "women are wonderful effect". Yes imo it would be ridiculous if a woman did that however, I have seen it many times that most people don't think this way when it's a woman but do think this way when it's a man. That's the double standard.

Or maybe it's that when you're privileged, equality feels like oppression. A lot of the privileges women have existed even before feminism so they hate it if someone wants to take them away or if someone wants men to have those rights as well.

My experience with feminists has been absolutely terrible. While men are able to recognize and acknowledge some of the discrimination women face, feminists are never able to do the same for men. It's as if they're in complete denial, or have a very low IQ to understand logic or they know we have fewer rights but they love that and are complete assholes.

Honestly, celebrating the success of others just because they're part of your gender seems quite discriminatory to me, so I don't give a shit about women's day or men's day. How about we have a "gender equality day", where every gender can work towards their goal of achieving equal rights?
/r/MensRights08/03/23 05:49 PM

And it will continue to be that way, as long as the "women are wonderful" effect remains. If we're able to reduce the effects of that, more than half our job of achieving equality would be over.

I am asexual but feminists always call me an incel. It's like they believe we need a woman to live properly or that we shouldn't be independent. It's so funny considering feminists fought for women to be more independent but now they don't think a man should be able to have that. It's as if they are incels/femcels themselves.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
