I agree with all your points, but I absolutely love men with eyeliner 🔥

I got sexually assaulted before I watched any TV, then later as a teen, then I had my very own stalker following me at night at university. I’m only less scared now because I’m older which makes me invisible to those kinds of men. The media back then was way more patriarchal than it is now, all that was before social media became so widely spread, so I couldn’t even feed off the fear of my social media algorithm. So yeah, I learned to mind my safety when first meeting a new man (in any context, …

It’s been patriarcal societies setting these gender roles. Male compulsory conscription was established in patriarcal societies before women had any right to vote. This societal system based around gender norms is bad for men and women. Only rich white men benefit from the patriarchy, they can skip the military same as they can skip the part of having to work hard to provide for their trad wife. At present time we have sparse knowledge about old matriarchal societies, so I do not know if they ha…

I feel as if you are having an argument in your head without listening and getting angry about things that aren’t real. For example, feminists don’t think that “every man is a privileged oppressor and every woman a victim of oppression”, this must be some fiction spewed by non-feminists. Definitely feminists do not hate men, most of the men I know, and work with, are feminists. They don’t hate men either. They just want equality. You sound very upset about concepts that you haven’t yet understoo…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 08:17 PM

Feminists hate the patriarchy. Are you the patriarchy, Mr Self-Important? BTW. Only rich white men actually benefit from the Patriarchy, so unless you are one of those you would fare better without the Patriarcal expectations placed upon your gender.

The meaning of “the bar is in hell” doesn’t mean that we would date any man who just meets the bare minimum. Think of the bar exam for lawyers, passing the bar doesn’t mean you get hired at a law firm. But if you don’t pass the bar you do not get hired at a law firm as a lawyer. It’s the same, if a guy cannot see me as a human being, he is out of the race. That doesn’t mean I’d date just anyone who treats me like a human being. And hopefully neither would you, have some self-respect

Well duh! No one should be with someone who doesn’t want to be there. I wouldn’t want to keep my husband hostage, I don’t think either blue not red pill would want such a relationship. Everyone involved should always have the possibility to leave (this involves having their own money and friends so no one is forced to stay in a bad marriage). Those women can feel upset that their husband didn’t find their bond enough without sex, but I don’t think they would want to keep their husband hostage ei…

A dead bedroom has a ton of possible reasons, and many of those reasons is that one should have realized they needed to move on. It rarely is about the sex alone
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/25 11:16 AM

20% is still millions of people. If you feel lonely then change your mind about women being some different species and what not, then you’ll find a partner who wants to be treated as they treat you.

I earn more than my husband. I love everything about him, especially the kind of person and partner he is. We both provide for our home and our shared/independent goals, we both work together as a team as we keep on building a life we both cherish.

Gender is irrelevant: Person A likes traits x, y in a partner B has said traits. Ergo A likes B. B likes traits y, z in a partner. A does not have those traits. B is free to not date A 🤷‍♂️ You may think that A has unrealistic wishes. It doesn’t matter what you think. Only matters whether A and B like each other. If A never finds a person with x, y traits who will like them back, A can also lead a happy life single and keep looking. The same applies to B if they don’t find a person with y, z who…

I’m a feminist and I disagree. I would refrain from generalizing with gender and from rating people with a number. Humans of all genders are complex and heterogenous. Yes, there are statistics about how more people are single now than say 30 years ago. I think the only plausible reason is that people had higher pressure to marry to survive and lower education. So it was a life goal to “find someone before all the good ones are taken” to not be alone. Now, more people can have more life goals tha…

Everyone (regardless of gender) likes different things, you find those out by building a deep connection and by listening to how the other person responds to you. So a good sexual partner is one who knows how to read you and who knows how to communicate what they want and what they enjoy. It has nothing to do with the time it takes to orgasm or how many orgasms they have. You know, the thing about the journey over the destination…

But not death. Let’s just stop exaggerating the importance of dating. Solitude can be countered with many other meaningful connections. Stop feeding the teenage drama of “I’m gonna die because I can’t get laid”

Didn’t read the post, just the title. Dating isn’t everything. You don’t die because of being neurodivergent. Can we stop with the “death sentence”? Very few things are a matter of life or death

Mods please mod. This is a debate sub, OP makes an argument, I imagine posed towards TRP or towards men? Maybe OP should add flags. But the comments aren’t counter arguments, the comments are direct attacks to OP’s life choice. A debate is argument and counter argument, not a “then don’t have kids” and “yo mamma so big” level of discussion.

What is the alternative? That women risk their life? If a dog bit me once I will try and avoid meeting new dogs, no matter how nice they say they are. I’m not making you accountable. We should ALL make the sexist accountable.

You are right. It is unfair that women are treated as objects by a minority of the male population. What can you do? Easy, whenever you see/hear/read a man objectifying a woman CALL HIM OUT. Grab him and read him your post, let him know how his actions are forcing you to walk on egg shells around women. One in three women have been sexually abused (in developed countries). Since each abuser may have multiple victims we will not assume that one third of men are abusers, but due to geography we ca…

Do you have any examples of how they are asking for help? Sometimes the original post shows that they were seeing a friendship as a transaction, and that language is something you may have missed. If a man cannot talk to beautiful women but can talk to men or to ugly women, he sees “fuckable women” as a different type of people. They aren’t, therefore that is a gender issue -> sexism. A different thing is a man who cannot talk to his crush (having only one crush) but can talk to other beautiful …

That “feel it” is as detailed as we are able to explain it, attraction alone doesn’t mean chemistry. It doesn’t mean that something was wrong, you both enjoyed some time together and if that “feeling” isn’t there, better to part ways with good memories.

All women are different so this kind of statement is BS. Even if we date comparatively, most women have different standards. Many of us have raised the bare minimum (you know, basic respect and basic hygiene) but still my “top few” and my friends’ “top few” do not overlap much. We don’t all have the exact same values, and neither should you.

In many countries the law is just easier while married, from health proxy in case of hospitalization to not being forced to testify against your spouse. The main difference is that with equal earnings, women can choose to marry, they no longer need to do it for survival but to thrive with someone they love

Exactly, my husband knows that I don’t even have an exact number due to how promiscuous I was, and he knows that he is the best lover out of all of them, both because of him and because of our intimacy. There is something strong about the complete trust and connection with someone you deeply love. He didn’t mind not being my FIRST, he wants to be my last, and he knows I chose him and would always choose him. Edit: major typo. First. As the previous sentence said he was the best lover

You do know that we have previsions that half of marrying age women are going to remain celibate for 2030? Your reference doesn't support your statement. The data you refer to says "single and childless".

I see, quick Google search with that reference: “Recent data predicts that 45% of women between ages 25 and 44 will be single and childless by the time 2030 rolls around.” That’s in USA only. But I’ll tell you a secret…. Single child-free women have awesome sex 😜 nothing celibate about choosing not to clean after a man or a baby.

As a woman I don’t have enough information to choose between A and B. Neither of the details (looks and money) matter much for a relationship if the bare minimum isn’t met. Is any of them seeing me as an object or a generic “female” rather than being genuinely interested in what makes me me? Is any of them having a fixed-mindset instead of a growth/mindset? Those t…

As a woman, my definition of NiceGuyTM is the one who is ONLY nice because he expects to gain something. A truly nice person is good without expecting to get anything. So when a guy says “she chose to date that asshole instead of me when I’ve been the perfect gentleman” implies he was a gentleman only with the expectation of her getting interested in him. The nice person is happy being friends forever with someone, and is ok seeing her date other guys as if a guy friend was dating girls, then he…

That may apply to good looking women, however many surveys ask older women who wouldn’t be as attractive to their male friends. Those women are happier single (and without sexual partner) than being a live-in maid to a grown child

I definitely prefer men with kids. I love kids and love to help friends and family with theirs, but I don’t like babies. Kids and teens are interesting in how they show their own special personalities and how they explore the world. Also I never want to go through a pregnancy, so it would be very convenient. That is a sure way to sound unattractive. For instance, you could have compared men’s entitlement to sex to women’s. IMO, Women are also not entitled to sex with men, men also have the right to deny consent. Men also get sexually abused. But you chose to compare it to being an ally to another demographic 🤯 For instance, being an ally to black people means being anti-racist, it’s not enough to not be racist if we (whites) don’t call out other whites when they are being racist. Doing that doesn’t …

I believe the fair division is both putting a percentage of our income (ours is 60%). If we contributed 50-50, one of us would get to save a lot (because we still share the same lifestyle and it's not like us to spend more on oneself) and the other one wouldn't have any money left for personal hobbies after we're done with bills and common expenses. I'm now the higher earner, so my part is almost double than his, but I also still have more leftover for hobbies and self-care. At times he was the …

I see little value in being friends with someone who hates a demographic rather than understanding that everyone is different. It makes me feel like that person is too basic to be worth my time. If someone openly says they hate X group of people, especially if X is a trait you cannot choose, I may call it out or polite distance myself. Depends on how safe is it to speak up

Those are not rare. A third of all women experience sexual violence in their life (and that’s from those who do report it, most of us keep quiet). OP asked why are we wary of men, it may or may not be a rational fear or maybe the lack of fear of cars is the irrational one. But that is one of the reasons we are wary of men. I may be not be fluent enough in TRP teachings but it sounds like quite convervative (i.e. old) views that expect men-led relationships, not equality. And I have always understood Blue Pill as Feminists against Red Pill's neo-misogynistic views. Just relabeled for context. But many of the assumptions TRP makes about TBP are actually incorrect. Still, that man with power is useless to your kids if he is indeed "indifferent and aloof" like you describe Chad, so no, they still wanted (call it instict-based attraction if you may) the physically fit man who will still provide said power in the long term. Genghis Khan is quite recent history to count in terms of evolution. The rest of your comment is projecting your own issues and I'm no therapist.

That applies to everyone regardless of gender. When you get women just want sex and don’t focus on commitment abilities, they are called sluts and then red pill men don’t want women with high “body counts”. Here is the thing, OP’s post showed he was somehow offended that this influencer had so much sex. Those women knew he was there temporarily, so if they wanted sex with a good looking guy they knew where to go for drama-free sex with no strings attached. (Although the cheaters are assholes IMO…

If you talk about Women’s sexual NATURE you’ll need to look at evolution: evolutionarily women looked for potential fathers for their child, they wanted men with the PHYSICAL ability to protect and provide in a harsh environment, but they still wanted the COMMITMENT ability to be with them until their child no longer needed them. “Indifferent aloof chad” (assuming that in your lingo “chad” means physically fit) would pass the first check and have sex, but would not stick around, so it is logical…

See my second paragraph. If all you want is sex then by all means focus on your looks and don’t bother hiding your true self, but if you want a life partner who will value your companionship when you are old and weak and can no longer get it up or go to the gym, then you need to see that partner as a whole person just as interesting or more than you.

No subreddit will be a balanced sample of any population, because many people do not use Reddit. People who have other things to do with their time than discussing publicly and anonymously on the internet are completely misrepresented online. Men and women share sexual intimacy for mutual pleasure, sex is not something we give or take. Both men and women can provide human connection, emotional and physical intimacy, and partnership. They don’t provide a personality, or money, or sex, or protection. That model is outdated, it was based on evolution when humans were fewer and not at the top of the feeding chain, he who reproduces the most wins. What do you mean with questions? This is about YOUR boundaries. You can have a chill talk about it or you can just say that paragraph I drafted for you. I completely agree but I will suggest changing the view to completely gender neutral: Person A likes friend B. B likes C. This is painful for person A. C may or may not be an asshole, that is completely irrelevant. B and C may or may not date, also irrelevant. The whole point is that person A is responsible for their own actions, they could distance themselves from this painful situation, they could ask person B out on a date (unambiguously). I believe my male friends have a far more complex criteria to start a relationship than those two points. You should probably ask men first how many actually would date anyone they find attractive. As for me own perception, if they are true friends they would tell me if they had new feelings for someone even if that someone is me (I have had this happen). Ergo, my male friends are platonic until new data comes in. I trust them to be in this friendship for the same reasons as me.

The argument seems to be based on the premise that there is some kind of universal ranking where you can draw the line for the top 20% of men or at the very least, all women have the same ratio. On that same line, you assume all men like 80% of women their age while some men like 1% and some like 10% and so on. Also they like different things in women. They are teaching what they as individuals like. If a man thinks that what works with one woman works for all should at the very least back off the instant she doesn’t respond like he expected. Because, and I say it once again, his behavior is his responsibility. And women are individuals.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/23 01:01 PM
1

I’m not pretending that’s not a thing, I’m stating that still her and his actions are only their own responsibility respectively. This is reply to men who blame women for the men’s behavior. If the same guy goes tomorrow to the club and approaches a new woman the same way but she doesn’t respond the same way, whether he moves on or he starts being rude out of being offended, his behavior is his own responsibility, not the previous woman he was with. Because we are all different.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/23 12:21 PM

Yet, how you act in that “confused, frustrated, and angry state” is solely and ultimately your responsibility. I’m sorry that you were lied to, either from TV or adults or whatnot, but you are an adult now or adult to-be. Learning to own our actions is an important step in becoming an adult. But also making your life more interesting than finding vulvas to fuck. I am all for results-oriented, but you’ll be much happier if you focus on results you can affect and not the ones you can’t. For instan…

Okay, we may need to reshape your definition of success. There is so much more to life than warm flesh-lights. I’ll add that if you have sex with person X when you want only person X and not person Y, that’s the good stuff. If you do not care between two equally attractive people, then you may as well use a flesh-light because you don’t see X or Y as individual people.

No dude… it was rhetorical… it was meant to get you to think about it rather than answer it. Here is the thing: you are the only person responsible for your actions and behaviors. My first unsolicited advice is to not give anyone the power to make you do things one way or another. That means being solely and ultimately responsible for your behavior. Another advice, adults who want deep lasting relationships like adults who take responsibility for their actions.

So… women getting into bed with brash egotistical pricks reinforces the wrong behaviors in men Getting into bed with you is not a reward on any behavior you did or didn’t do. Do not change your behaviors with the goal to manipulate women into getting into bed with you. Your behaviors should represent your values and identity, show that your life has other interests than having sex with “faceless anonymous females”.

if they “have to settle with below average” they are dishonest to that partner. That’s not what a genuinely nice person would do. -“getting women”… middle school behaviors represent what we see on TV, late 20s and older shows a very different behavior. Women get their own interests and like different things.

I (F34) have heard of this behavior but I haven’t done that myself. When I first met my now husband I basically threw myself at him. I believe her behavior stems from some beliefs/assumptions about sex and men. Does she think he will leave her after they fuck? Maybe they should do it to see if that’s true. On the other hand your friend thinks sex is something she gives (yikes). This has nothing to do with what “she gave to other guys”. They have clearly different views of what sex is about and t…
