We can’t change the past. And no reason to dwell on it. Eyes forward friend, live your best life.

You will be all right, even if you are alone. Life goes on, it may not turn out the way you first envisioned, it’s just different. You’re free to be whoever you want. Do whatever you want. It’s entirely possible to make new friends. I wish you luck.

I do things that make me happy. I don’t care what anybody else says. You have to do things for yourself. So whatever is important to you, that’s what gets done. Yeah you still have to take care of your kids. But you get to treat yourself once in a while too.

Not broke. We split everything 50-50.

And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I was in a similar situation. Was married for 25. Together for 27. One adult child. We ended up getting divorced. It’s more common than you think. I wish you luck.

It sounds like he just really may not be ready for a very committed relationship.

Everyone’s situation is going to be different. The main point is yes you do recover. It just takes time. How much is the question.

I was going to throw mine into the river. I was on the bridge ready to do it. Mentally I did. But I tucked it back in my pocket and now it’s in my jewelry box. I don’t know why. Maybe I should still do it.

It does get better with time. It just feels like going through hell to get there.

This is the correct answer. It’s not to get her back, it’s to make yourself a better person moving forward.

It’s fine. Everything doesn’t have to be a battle. But depending on who initiated the divorce, and the reason, there is a very real possibility that she doesn’t want to talk at all.

It definitely gets better with time. Keep doing you, and let your ex spiral. That's not your problem anymore, thankfully!

There is nothing wrong with masturbation. It might be a man’s favorite hobby.

You certainly don't have to respond to her.

I contemplated throwing mine in the river. But in the end, I just threw it in my jewelry box. I don’t know why. It’s not worth anything. I thought maybe my daughter might want it someday.
