Each side always thinks they have it harder and the other one easier. I understand sticking with that, it makes sense. I just wish more people would assume each side is telling the truth - that it's hard to be them, and listen to them. And I do say this while also accepting that men get listened to far, far less when it comes to any kind of painful social or emotional experience.

It's not that we didn't grow past this stage, it's that we further imbedded ourselves in it. The OOP you've chosen not to post had extremely misandric language in it. Several people called this out and got downvoted to oblivion. It's not about physical labor. It's about if we both work in an office in the same position, e should get paid the same for the same work. If we're both day laborers doing the same job, we should get paid the same. No one is stopping men from not taking physical labor jobs, so don't get angry that fewer women choose to do them. There's two jobs available for every person in our current economy. There's no excuse for doing a job you're resentful of.
